Claims (10)
- 第1の端部及び第2の端部を有し、前記第2の端部がプロセス側ガスの漏れを防止するように構成されたアセンブリと、

前記回転シャフトを支え、前記プロセス側ガスを前記第1の端部にて前記アセンブリ内にシールするように構成された外部加圧されたスラストベアリングと
を備える回転装置。 - 前記アセンブリの前記第2の端部に蓋がかぶせられている、請求項1に記載の回転装置。
- 前記外部加圧されたスラストベアリングが、ベントレスシールである、請求項1に記載の回転装置。
- 追加のシャフトシールを必要としない、請求項1に記載の回転装置。
- ラジアルベアリングを更に備え、前記ラジアルベアリングが外部加圧されたガスベアリングである、請求項1に記載の回転装置。
- 前記外部加圧されたスラストベアリングが、バランスピストンとして働くように構成され、
前記外部加圧されたスラストベアリングが、複数のプレナムを覆って配置され、加圧されたガスを、インプットポートを介して前記複数のプレナムに導く伝導経路を有する4つの多孔質媒体リングを更に備え、且つ4つのベント孔を更に備え、その結果、処理済みのプロセスガスが圧縮機から漏れない
請求項1に記載の回転装置。 - インプットポートにおけるインプットガスの圧力を調整することによって、圧力がシール面全体で平衡することができる、請求項6に記載の回転装置。

- シールとして働くように構成されたスラストベアリングを含む回転装置であって、
固定シャフトと、
少なくとも1つの固定多孔質スラストガスベアリングに支持される回転インペラとを備え、
前記多孔質スラストガスベアリングが、インペラの動作荷重及びモータ引力を支え、固定シャフトに適用されるシールを提供する
