Description

The technology disclosed in this specification relates to a seal cover that is detachably mounted to cover a working opening provided in an electric device.

For example, an electrical device mounted in an automobile or the like is provided with a connector, a terminal block, and the like for connecting to the outside inside the case. And in order to perform the connection work with the exterior, the opening part is provided in the case of the electric equipment. When no connection work is performed, a seal cover is attached to the opening.

As an example of such a seal cover of an electric device, one described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2012-236450 (Patent Document 1 below) is known. The seal cover includes a cover main body capable of covering the opening, and a seal member holding member fitted into the opening on the back surface of the cover main body, and the seal member is disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the seal member holding member. Installed. Then, when the seal cover is put on the opening and locked, the seal member on the outer peripheral surface of the seal member holding member is tightly sealed to the inner peripheral surface of the opening, so that water enters from the opening or foreign matter is mixed in. Etc. can be prevented.

By the way, the case of an electric device is in a sealed state because waterproofness is required. For this reason, as described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-168545 (Patent Document 2 below), a ventilation member having a ventilation film provided with a ventilation member attachment hole in the case and having a waterproof and breathable function is provided. The structure assembled | attached to a ventilation member attachment hole is known. In this manner, by assembling the ventilation member having the ventilation film to the case, the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the case caused by fluctuations in ambient temperature or the like is alleviated by aeration through the ventilation film.

特開2012−236450号公報JP 2012-236450 A 特開2001−168545号公報JP 2001-168545 A

However, if a ventilation member is separately provided as disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-168545 (the above-mentioned Patent Document 2), the manufacturing cost increases and the number of assembling steps increases as the ventilation member is separately provided. In view of this, it is conceivable to provide a gas permeable membrane in a part of the seal cover of Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2012-236450 (the above-mentioned Patent Document 1). However, if a gas permeable membrane is provided on a part of the seal cover, fingers or the like may come into contact with the gas permeable membrane at the time of removing and attaching the seal cover, and oil or the like of the fingers or the like may adhere, thereby impairing the air permeability of the gas permeable membrane.

The seal cover of the electrical device disclosed in the present specification is a seal cover that can be attached to and detached from a work opening provided in the case of the electrical device, covers the opening of the case, and the surface of the case A cover body that is attached to the cover body, and a fitting portion that is attached to the cover body and that is fitted to the outer peripheral surface, and is fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the opening so as to be watertight. The fitting portion is provided with a vent hole that is blocked by a breathable membrane having both waterproof and breathable functions and penetrates in the fitting direction. The pores are provided with a foreign matter prevention part for preventing foreign matter from touching the gas permeable membrane on the side opposite to the cover main body with respect to the gas permeable membrane.

According to the seal cover of the electrical device having such a configuration, one of the ventilation hole and the ventilation film attached to the ventilation hole is covered by the cover body, and the other is protected by providing a foreign matter prevention portion. Therefore, it is possible to suppress fingers and the like from touching the gas permeable membrane when the seal cover is attached or detached.

As an embodiment of the seal cover of the electric device disclosed in the present specification, the following configuration may be adopted.
The gas permeable membrane is fixed to a hole edge of the vent hole on the cover body side, and the foreign matter preventing portion is spaced from the gas permeable membrane, and the opening edge of the vent hole on the opening portion side. It is good also as a structure which partitions.
In such a configuration, since the gas permeable membrane and the intrusion prevention portion are separated from each other, the gas permeable membrane can be vented without being obstructed by the foreign matter prevention portion. Moreover, it can suppress that a finger | toe etc. enter into a vent hole because the foreign material prevention part is provided in the opening part side.

Further, the gas permeable membrane may be provided with an identification line for identifying the front and back of the gas permeable membrane, and the identification line may be provided on the side of the foreign matter preventing portion.
In such a configuration, since the identification line is provided on the side of the foreign matter prevention unit, the identification line can be confirmed even if the foreign matter prevention unit is present.

According to the seal cover of the electrical device disclosed in the present specification, it is possible to prevent the air permeability of the gas permeable film from being impaired after providing the gas permeable film.

<Embodiment>
An embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4.
The seal cover 10 of the present embodiment closes an opening for work of a shield case of an electric device such as a motor or an inverter mounted on a vehicle. In the following description, the upper side in FIGS. 3 and 4 is referred to as the upper side, and the lower side in FIGS. 3 and 4 is referred to as the lower side. Moreover, the left side (fitting direction to a case) in FIG. 4 is set as the front, and the right side (removal direction from the case) in FIG. 4 is set as the rear.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the seal cover 10 includes a cover body 20, a seal member holding member 40, a tap screw 60, an interlock connector 70, and a gas permeable membrane 80.
The cover body 20 is formed by pressing a metal plate such as a steel plate. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the cover body 20 has a generally rectangular shape that can cover the opening of the case as a whole. It has a dish shape. A seal member holding member 40 is disposed in front of the cover body 20. Attaching plates 21 are formed at both ends of the cover body 20 in the longitudinal direction, and bolt insertion holes 23 through which bolts for fixing to the case can be inserted.

As shown in FIG. 3, a substantially circular recess 25 that is recessed toward the front side (the seal member holding member 40 side) is provided at a substantially central portion of the cover body 20. The recess 25 has an outer diameter larger than the outer diameter of the tap screw 60 described later. The recess 25 is recessed to the extent that the tap screw 60 does not protrude from the cover body 20 when the tap screw 60 is screwed. A substantially circular insertion hole 27 through which a boss portion 49 to be described later can be inserted is provided at the center of the recess 25. The insertion hole 27 penetrates the cover body 20 in the plate thickness direction.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the seal member holding member 40 is made of synthetic resin, and is provided at a fitting portion 41 that can be fitted into the opening of the case, and a front end edge portion of the fitting portion 41. And a flat plate portion 43 having a flat plate shape. The rear end edge portion of the fitting portion 41 comes into contact with the cover main body 20. Further, the flat plate portion 43 has a horizontally long shape, and has an outer peripheral shape substantially the same as the outer peripheral shape of the fitting portion 41. A seal mounting groove 45 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the fitting portion 41 over the entire circumference. A seal member 47 having an oval ring shape is fitted in the seal mounting groove 45. The seal member 47 provides a seal between the seal member holding member 40 and the opening of the case.

Further, as shown in FIG. 3, a columnar boss portion 49 is provided so as to protrude in the front-rear direction at a substantially central position of the flat plate portion 43 of the seal member holding member 40. The upper end portion of the boss portion 49 can be inserted with a predetermined clearance between the upper end portion of the boss portion 49 and the hole edge portion of the insertion hole 27 of the cover body 20. Further, the height of the boss portion 49 is set so that the protruding end surface of the boss portion 49 has a protruding dimension that slightly protrudes from the surface of the concave portion 25 when inserted through the insertion hole 27 of the cover body 20. The boss portion 49 is provided with a pilot hole 49A.

A tap screw 60 is screwed into the pilot hole 49A of the boss portion 49 as shown in FIG. The tap screw 60 includes a substantially circular head 61, a ring portion 63 having an enlarged diameter of the head 61, and a screw portion 65 capable of cutting a screw into the prepared hole 49A. The outer diameter of the ring portion 63 is larger than the diameter of the insertion hole 27 of the cover body 20, and the ring portion 63 is engaged with the protruding end surface of the boss portion 49 and is locked to the hole edge portion of the insertion hole 27. To prevent it from coming off.

In this way, the seal member holding member 40 is provided with a clearance between the boss portion 49 and the insertion hole 27, so that the seal member holding member 40 is omnidirectional in the vertical and horizontal directions with respect to the cover body 20. It will be held in a movable state. Further, the cover main body 20 is in a state of being attached so as to be movable along the axial direction of the boss portion 49. Therefore, air or the like can pass between the seal member holding member 40 and the cover main body 20.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, an interlock connector 70 constituting an interlock mechanism is attached to the seal member holding member 40 in a form that can move relative to the seal member holding member 40. . The interlock connector 70 is arranged so as to be biased toward one end side in the longitudinal direction of the seal member holding member 40.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 4, the sealing member holding member 40 is on the opposite side of the boss portion 49 of the interlock connector 70 and the other end side in the longitudinal direction of the sealing member holding member 40 has a ventilation portion. 50 is provided. The ventilation part 50 includes a round hole 51 that passes through the flat plate part 43 in the thickness direction (front-rear direction), a ventilation film 80 that blocks the ventilation hole 51, and a front of the ventilation film 80 in the ventilation hole 51. And a foreign matter prevention unit 59 provided. The hole edge portion on the rear end side of the vent hole 51 is a mounting portion 53 (an example of “hole edge portion”) for mounting the gas permeable membrane 80. The mounting portion 53 is provided by projecting in the inner diameter direction over the entire circumference of the vent hole 51, and the opening area of the mounting portion 53 is larger on the front end side of the vent hole 51 than on the rear end side. ing.

The gas permeable membrane 80 has a substantially circular shape and has both functions of waterproofness and air permeability. The gas permeable membrane 80 is formed by bonding polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and a non-woven fabric, and is attached to the air vent 51 so that the non-woven fabric side is the front (opening side of the case). In order to identify the front and back of the gas permeable membrane 80, an identification line 85 is provided on the surface of the nonwoven fabric side. The identification line 85 is provided so as to be located on the side of the foreign matter prevention unit 59 when the vent hole 51 is attached. The ventilation film 80 is attached so as to block the ventilation hole 51 by bonding or welding to the rear surface of the attachment portion 53.

As described above, the ventilation hole 51 and the ventilation film 80 are provided in the sealing member holding member 40 of the seal cover 10, so that the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the case due to a change in ambient temperature or the like can be prevented while waterproofing the inside of the case. 80 can mitigate. In addition, a space is provided between the gas permeable membrane 80 and the cover main body 20, so that ventilation to the gas permeable membrane 80 is not hindered.

In addition, the air hole 51 is provided with a foreign matter preventing portion 59 that partitions openings in front of the air membrane 80 of the air hole 51 in a lattice shape. The foreign matter prevention part 59 is arranged at a position slightly behind the front end position of the flat plate part 43, and the vent hole 51 is divided into four equal parts by dividing the opening into a cross. That is, the opening at the front of the vent 51 is partitioned in a cross shape by the foreign matter preventing portion 59 and the opening at the rear end of the vent 51 is covered by the cover body 20 from the rear. When transporting and assembling, other members, fingers and the like are difficult to enter inside through the front end and rear end opening of the vent hole 51. In addition, since a space is provided between the gas permeable membrane 80 and the foreign matter prevention portion 59, the foreign matter prevention portion 59 does not hinder the ventilation of the ventilation membrane 80.

The seal cover 10 of the present embodiment has the above-described structure, and is assembled by the following procedure, for example.
First, the gas permeable membrane 80 is fixed to the mounting portion 53 of the sealing member holding member 40 by adhesion or welding so that the nonwoven fabric side of the gas permeable membrane 80 is forward. At this time, the gas permeable membrane 80 is attached in a state where the identification line 85 is visible to the side of the foreign matter prevention unit 59. As described above, since the identification line 85 is provided in a region that does not overlap with the foreign matter preventing portion 59, the front and back of the gas permeable membrane 80 can be easily confirmed after the gas permeable membrane 80 is fixed.

Then, the seal member holding member 40 to which the seal member 47 is attached is attached to a corresponding region on the back surface (front surface) side of the cover body 20. Specifically, the tap screw 60 is screwed to a position where the ring portion 63 comes into contact with the protruding end surface of the boss portion 49 while the tap screw 60 is fitted into the prepared hole 49A of the boss portion 49 and cut into the lower hole 49A.

When the screwing of the tap screw 60 is completed, as shown in FIG. 3, the ring portion 63 is fixed to the protruding end surface of the boss portion 49, and the boss portion 49 is interposed between the ring portion 63 and the concave portion 25 of the cover body 20. There is a gap in the axial direction (front-rear direction). That is, the cover main body 20 is movable in the axial direction of the boss portion 49. Further, since the clearance is provided between the boss portion 49 and the insertion hole 27, the seal member holding member 40 is held in a movable state in all directions, up, down, left, and right.

When the seal cover 10 is assembled as described above, the seal cover 10 is attached to the opening of the case. The seal cover 10 is attached to the case, and the seal member holding member 40 is pushed into the opening while the seal member 47 is crushed and deformed in the circumferential direction. Here, when the fitting portion 41 reaches the normal fitting position with respect to the opening, the seal member 47 of the fitting portion 41 is in close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the fitting portion 41 and the inner peripheral surface of the opening. Thus, the gap between the fitting portion 41 and the case is sealed. This prevents water and the like from entering the case from the opening, and the case is sealed.

By the way, if the case of the device is sealed, a pressure difference is generated between the pressure inside the case and the pressure outside the case due to fluctuations in the ambient temperature, etc., and the sealing member 47 is damaged and the waterproof performance can be maintained. There is a risk of disappearing. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the vent hole 51 having the gas permeable membrane 80 is provided so as to penetrate the seal member holding member 40 of the seal cover 10 in the front-rear direction. The pressure difference between the inside and the outside of the case can be reduced by the gas permeable membrane 80.

By the way, when the vent hole 51 having the vent film 80 is provided in the seal cover 10, when the seal cover 10 is transported or when the seal cover 10 is attached or detached, other parts or the like come into contact with the vent film 80 to be damaged. There is a concern that fingers or the like may come into contact with the gas permeable membrane 80 and become dirty.

Therefore, in the present embodiment, the gas permeable membrane 80 is covered with the cover body 20 from the rear, and a foreign matter preventing portion 59 that partitions the air vent 51 into a cross is provided at the opening edge of the front end of the air vent 51. . Therefore, foreign substances such as fingers can be prevented from entering or touching the vent hole 51 and the vent film 80 when the seal cover 10 is transported and the seal cover 10 is assembled.

Further, since the gas permeable membrane 80 is in a state of being separated from the foreign matter preventing portion 59, the air permeable membrane 80 can be vented without being obstructed by the foreign matter preventing portion 59. On the other hand, since the gas permeable membrane 80 and the cover main body 20 are also separated from each other, the gas permeable membrane 80 can be vented without being obstructed by the cover main body 20. And since the cover main body 20 and the seal member holding member 40 are attached with shakiness, the ventilation film 80 can ventilate the outside.

As described above, in the present embodiment, one of the vent hole 51 and the vent film 80 attached to the vent hole 51 is covered by the cover body 20 and the other is protected by the provision of the foreign matter preventing portion 59. Yes. Therefore, it is possible to suppress fingers and the like from touching the gas permeable membrane when the seal cover 10 is attached or detached. Further, since the gas permeable membrane 80 is in a state of being separated from the foreign matter preventing portion 59 and the cover main body 20, the ventilation of the gas permeable membrane 80 is not hindered. Furthermore, since the identification line 85 of the gas permeable membrane 80 is provided on the side of the foreign matter prevention unit 59, the identification line 85 can be confirmed even if the foreign matter prevention unit 59 is present.
