UEがデュアルNASシグナリング優先度機能で構成された場合、UEは、典型的には、適用可能なNAS要求メッセージにおいて低優先度のNASシグナリング優先度モードを示すために、デバイス特性IEを使用する。デバイス特性IEにおいて低優先度の指示のないメッセージ又はデバイス特性IEのないメッセージは、典型的にはネットワークにより通常優先度の要求として扱われる。

- デュアルアクセスの非アクセス層(NAS)シグナリング優先度モードを有する移動局(MS)又はユーザ装置(UE)の装置であって、
前記MS又はUEがNASシグナリングの低優先度で構成された状態に設定された低優先度インジケータで、パケットデータネットワーク(PDN)接続要求メッセージ、ベアラリソース変更要求メッセージ又はベアラリソース割り当て要求メッセージを特定のアクセスポイント名(APN)に送信し、
不十分なリソースのための拒否を示すESM(EPS(evolved packet system) session management)原因値を有する拒否メッセージを受信し、
前記MS又はUEがNASシグナリングの低優先度で構成されていない状態に設定された前記低優先度インジケータで、PDN接続要求メッセージを前記特定のAPNに送信するように構成された1つ以上のプロセッサ及びメモリを有する装置。 - 前記MS又はUEがNASシグナリングの低優先度で構成されていない状態に設定された前記低優先度インジケータで確立されたPDN接続が存在することを決定し、

前記UE又はMSにおいて前記1つ以上のプロセッサを使用して、前記UE又はMSにおいてアプリケーションのための新たなPDN接続を確立するステップであり、前記新たなPDN接続は、第2のNASシグナリング優先度モードで動作するステップと
を実行するプログラム。 - 前記PDN接続要求を送信するステップは、
前記UE又はMSから、前記既存のPDN接続と同じアクセスポイント名(APN)及びPDNタイプで前記PDN接続要求メッセージを送信するステップと、
デバイス特性情報要素(IE)において前記NASシグナリング優先度上書きインジケータを送信するステップと
を更に有する、請求項6に記載のプログラム。 - 前記機械に対して、
前記アプリケーションのために前記MMEとの前記新たなPDN接続を確立するために、前記既存のPDN接続を非活性化した後に、前記UE又はMSから、前記同じAPNでPDN接続要求メッセージを送信するステップを更に実行させる、請求項7に記載のプログラム。 - 前記機械に対して、
前記アプリケーションのために前記MMEとの前記新たなPDN接続を確立するために、前記UE又はMSから異なるAPNでPDN接続要求メッセージを送信するステップを更に実行させる、請求項7に記載のプログラム。 - 前記PDN接続要求を送信するステップは、
低優先度が上書きされていないこと、及び低優先度が通常優先度で上書きされたことのうち1つを示す前記NASシグナリング優先度上書きインジケータを送信するステップを更に有する、請求項6に記載のプログラム。 - 前記NASシグナリング優先度上書きインジケータは、デバイス特性IEのオクテット1のビット2で送信される、請求項10に記載のプログラム。
- 前記PDN接続要求を送信するステップは、
前記UE又はMSがNASシグナリングの低優先度で構成されていないこと、及び前記UE又はMSがNASシグナリングの低優先度で構成されたことのうち1つを示す低優先度インジケータでデバイス特性IEを送信することを更に有する、請求項6に記載のプログラム。 - 前記優先度インジケータは、前記デバイス特性IEのオクテット1のビット1で送信される、請求項12に記載のプログラム。
- 前記PDN接続要求を送信するステップは、複数のNASシグナリングのインジケータレベルのうち1つを示す優先度インジケータでデバイス特性IEを送信するステップを更に有する、請求項6に記載のプログラム。
- 前記新たなPDN接続を確立するステップは、
異なるNASシグナリング優先度モードで前記PDN接続を確立する際のネットワークオーバーヘッドを低減するために、前記UE又はMSに通知を送信することなく、既存のPDN接続について前記MMEにおいてEPS(evolved packet system)ベアラのコンテキストを非活性化するステップを更に有する、請求項6に記載のプログラム。 - 前記新たなPDN接続を確立するステップは、
前記UE又はMSにおいて、所与のAPNについて複数のPDN接続が許可されていないというPDN接続拒否メッセージを受信するステップを更に有する、請求項6に記載のプログラム。 - デュアルアクセス非アクセス層(NAS)シグナリング優先度モードを有するユーザ装置(UE)又は移動局(MS)の装置であって、
MME(mobility management entity)から、低優先度のNASシグナリング優先度モード及び通常優先度のNASシグナリング優先度モードのうち1つについてのPDN接続要求メッセージに応じて、タイマT3396の値及び不十分なリソースのための拒否を示すESM(EPS(evolved packet system) session management)原因値を有するパケットデータネットワーク(PDN)接続拒否メッセージを受信し、
前記タイマT3396が動作している場合、前記タイマT3396を停止し、
選択された値で前記タイマT3396を開始し、
前記タイマT3396が満了した後に、異なるNASシグナリング優先度モードでPDN接続要求メッセージを前記MMEに送信するように構成された1つ以上のプロセッサ及びメモリを有する装置。 - 前記UE又は前記MSにおいて、インテグリティにより保護されていないアタッチ拒否メッセージを受信し、
選択された範囲内のランダムな値で前記タイマT3396を開始するように更に構成される、請求項17に記載の装置。 - 前記UE又は前記MSにおいて、インテグリティにより保護されたアタッチ拒否メッセージを受信し、
前記PDN接続拒否メッセージで提供された前記タイマT3396の値で前記タイマT3396を開始するように更に構成される、請求項17に記載の装置。 - 前記MMEから受信した前記タイマT3396の値で前記タイマT3396を開始するように更に構成され、
前記タイマT3396の値は、前記MMEにおいて現在のトラヒック状況に基づいて決定される、請求項17に記載の装置。 - 前記UE又は前記MSにおいて前記MMEから、タイマT3396の値及び不十分なリソースのための拒否を示すESM原因値を有するベアラリソース割り当て拒否メッセージを受信し、
前記ベアラリソース割り当て拒否メッセージのT3396値の情報要素(IE)で提供された値で前記タイマT3396を開始し、
前記タイマT3396が満了した後又は前記タイマT3396が停止した後に、前記PDN接続要求メッセージ、ベアラリソース変更要求メッセージ又はベアラリソース割り当て要求メッセージを送信するように更に構成される、請求項17に記載の装置。 - 前記UE又は前記MSにおいて前記MMEから、タイマT3396の値及び不十分なリソースのための拒否を示すESM原因値を有するベアラリソース変更拒否メッセージを受信し、
前記ベアラリソース変更拒否メッセージのT3396値の情報要素(IE)で提供された値で前記タイマT3396を開始し、
前記タイマT3396が満了した後又は前記タイマT3396が停止した後に、前記PDN接続要求メッセージ、ベアラリソース変更要求メッセージ又はベアラリソース割り当て要求メッセージを送信するように更に構成される、請求項17に記載の装置。 - 前記UE又はMSは、移動局(MS)及びマシン・ツー・マシン(M2M)デバイスのうち1つであり、
前記MS又はUEは、アンテナ、接触式ディスプレイ画面、スピーカ、マイクロフォン、グラフィックプロセッサ、アプリケーションプロセッサ、内部メモリ又は不揮発性メモリポートを含む、請求項17に記載の装置。 - タイマT3396の値及び不十分なリソースのための拒否を示すESM(EPS(evolved packet system) session management)原因値を有する拒否メッセージを受信するように更に構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 請求項6乃至16のうちいずれか1項に記載のプログラムを記憶した少なくとも1つの機械読み取り可能記憶媒体。
