Claims (15)
- エアロゾル発生システムであって、
ニコチン供与源と、
前記ニコチン供与源の下流にある揮発性送達促進化合物供与源であって、前記揮発性送達促進化合物が酸を含むものと、
前記ニコチン供与源を約80℃〜約150℃の温度に加熱するように構成された加熱手段と、
前記ニコチン供与源と前記揮発性送達促進化合物供与源との間を物理的に分離する熱伝達バリアとを含み、
前記加熱手段によって前記ニコチン供与源が80℃〜150℃の温度に加熱された時に、使用時に前記揮発性送達促進化合物供与源の温度が60℃より低くなるように前記熱伝達バリアが構成されている、エアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記熱伝達バリアが固体材料またはガス、真空または部分真空またはその組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。

- 前記酸が3−メチル−2−オキソ吉草酸、ピルビン酸、2−オキソ吉草酸、4−メチル−2−オキソ吉草酸、3−メチル−2−オキソブタン酸、2−オキソオクタン酸、乳酸およびこれらの組み合わせから成る群より選択される、請求項7に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記酸がピルビン酸または乳酸である、請求項8に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のエアロゾル発生システムであって、空気吸込み口および空気出口を含むハウジングを備え、前記ハウジングが空気吸込み口から空気出口へと直列になっていて、
前記空気吸込み口と連通する前記ニコチン供与源を含む第1の区画と、
前記第1の区画と連通する前記揮発性送達促進化合物供与源を含む第2の区画と、
前記第1の区画と前記第2の区画との間を物理的に分離する熱伝達バリアとを備え、
前記空気吸込み口および前記空気出口が相互に連通し、空気が前記空気吸込み口を通して前記ハウジング内に入り、前記ハウジングを通して流れ、前記空気出口を通して前記ハウジングから出るように構成されている、エアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記第1の区画と前記第2の区画の一方または両方が、1つ以上の壊れやすいシールによってシールされている、請求項10に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
