・IV:固有粘度は、デカリン中135℃において、方法ASTM D 1601(2004)に従い、16時間の溶解時間、酸化防止剤として2g/l溶液の量のBHT(ブチル化ヒドロキシトルエン)を用いて、異なる濃度で測定された粘度をゼロ濃度まで外挿することによって決定される。
・鎖の破壊強さ、すなわち鎖の乾燥サンプルを完全に断裂させるのに必要とされる力は、温度約21℃、速度100mm/分において、シャックルの厚さとそれに接続されるリンクの厚さの比率が約5であるD−シャックルを用いて、Zwick1484万能試験機において測定される。
いくつかの6つの織ストラップを互いに積み重ね、Amann AG(Aughsburg,DE)により供給されるExtremeTech(登録商標)縫製糸を用いて縫製により結合した。ストラップは、Dyneema(登録商標)SK75として知られる1760dtexのUHMWPE糸から織った。全てのストラップは、47mmの幅、1.1mmの厚さ、ランニングメートル(running meter)当たり50グラムの重量、約80kNの引張強さ、および約4%の破断伸びを有した。レーザービームによりスタックの長さに沿って40mmごとに孔を開けた。2つの隣接リンクの投影間の比率は90%よりも大きく、全ての可能な投影についてA1はA2にほぼ等しかった(実施例1の鎖は、図1に概略的に示した)。本実施例において記載される織構造は、負荷を受けて貨物と接触する圧迫点を有する場所を示さない。これらは平滑であり、従って貨物に対する圧迫損傷が最小化される。貨物をペレット上に安定化するために使用される場合、この鎖は貨物を非常に効果的に支持し、約10.5トンの引張強さと、フックまたはシャックルを孔の中に用いる際の約2.4トンの局所的な破壊強さとを有する。
Claims (9)
- 合成高分子糸を含む鎖リンクを含有する高耐久性の鎖であって、前記鎖を本質的に平面状の表面上に少なくともピンと張った状態に保持したときに、各鎖リンクが前記平面状表面への正投影を有し、前記投影がフットプリント面積(A)を有し、2つの隣接リンクごとにA1およびA2で示されるフットプリント面積が、

の関係にあり、A1が前記2つの面積のうちで最も小さく、前記投影が、フットプリント面積A2対A1の比率が最大になるような方法で行われる、鎖。 - 前記糸が連続的な3次元(3D)ネットワーク構造を形成している、請求項1に記載の鎖。
- 前記3Dネットワーク構造が3D織構造、より好ましくは3D織マルチシャトルルーム構造である、請求項2に記載の鎖。
- 織布を含有する複数の層が積み重ねられた、そして好ましくは、好ましくは縫製によって互いに付着された層状構造を含み、前記構造に沿って好ましくは周期的な形で孔を開けることによって前記層状構造内にリンクが形成される、請求項1に記載の鎖。
