従って、この復元力が弱いと防水扉を起立させるのが大変であり、手動式にあっては持ち上げ時に大きな人の力が必要であり、自動式にあっては出力の大きな駆動源が必要となる。
逆にこの復元力が強すぎると、防水扉の水平方向収納時のはね上がり力が大きくなりすぎる技術課題があった。
本出願人は、先に扉の開閉操作の改善を目的に複数の回動アームを設け、この複数の回動アームの復元力に差を設けた技術を提案している。
