Claims (20)
- 異常に頻度が高いディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ(DPF)の再生を検出する方法であって、
DPF全体の圧力損失を測定するとともに、この測定された圧力損失を使用して圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値を計算すること、
エンジンモデルからの煤の排出を計算するとともに、この計算された煤の排出を使用してエミッションベースの煤堆積推定値を計算すること、
前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値を前記エミッションベースの煤堆積推定値と比較すること、及び
前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値と前記エミッションベースの煤堆積推定値との差が予め定められた値を超える場合に警告を与えること、
を含む方法。 - NO2及びO2ベースの煤再生による煤の消費量を計算するとともに、前記計算された煤の消費量を使用してエミッションベースの煤堆積推定値を計算することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- エンジン回転数、空燃比、EGRの使用並びに燃料角度のうちの一つ又は複数、外気温度、エンジンの吸気温度並びに排気温度のうちの一つ又は複数を含む温度測定値、及びNOxエミッションの測定値、を含むデータに基づいて煤の排出量及び煤の消費量を計算することを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値及び前記エミッションベースの煤堆積推定値の一方が予め定められた煤堆積量の限界値に達したときに、圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値をエミッションベースの煤堆積推定値と比較することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記予め定められた値が予め定められた時間間隔であり、
前記方法は、前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値及び前記エミッションベースの煤堆積推定値の一方が前記予め定められた煤堆積の限界値に達した時点と、前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値及び前記エミッションベースの煤堆積推定値の他方が前記予め定められた煤堆積の限界値に達すると予想される時点との間の差が、予め定められた時間間隔を超える場合に警告を与えることを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記予め定められた値が予め定められた煤堆積量であり、
前記方法は、前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値及び前記エミッションベースの煤堆積推定値の一方が前記予め定められた煤堆積の限界値に達したときに前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値と前記エミッションベースの煤堆積推定値の間の推定された煤堆積量の差が前記予め定められた煤堆積量を超えた場合に警告をもたらすことを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値及び前記エミッションベースの煤堆積推定値の一方が前記予め定められた煤堆積の限界値に達したときにDPFの再生を始動させることを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記警告が与えられた後に、前記エンジン及び前記エンジンの下流のディーゼル酸化触媒(DOC)の機能性を点検することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- エンジン回転数、空燃比、EGRの使用並びに燃料角度のうちの一つ又は複数、外気温度、エンジンの吸気温度並びに排気温度のうちの一つ又は複数を含む温度測定値、及びNOxエミッションの測定値を含むデータに基づいて煤の排出を計算することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 測定された排気質量流量及び排気温度を含むファクターに基づいて前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値を計算することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 可能性のあるディーゼルエンジンの不調あるいはディーゼル酸化触媒(DOC)の不調を検出する方法であって、
ディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ(DPF)全体の圧力損失を測定するとともに、この測定された圧力損失を使用して圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値を計算すること、
エンジンモデルからの煤の排出を計算するとともに、この計算された煤の排出を使用してエミッションベースの煤堆積推定値を計算すること、
前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値を前記エミッションベースの煤堆積推定値と比較すること、及び
前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値と前記エミッションベースの煤堆積推定値との間の差が予め定められた値を超える場合に前記ディーゼルエンジンの機能性及び前記DOCの不調を点検すること、を含む方法。 - NO2及びO2ベースの煤再生による煤の消費を計算するとともに、この計算された煤の消費の速度を使用してエミッションベースの煤堆積推定値を計算することを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 排気後処理システムを有するディーゼルエンジンであって、
排気管を有するディーゼルエンジン、
前記ディーゼルエンジンの排気管の下流のディーゼル酸化触媒(DOC)、
前記DOCの下流のディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ(DPF)、
DPF全体の圧力損失を測定するためのセンサ、及び
測定された圧力損失に基づいて圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値を計算し、
エンジンモデルから計算された煤の排出に基づいてエミッションベースの煤堆積推定値を計算し、
圧力損失ベースの煤堆積量推定値をエミッションベースの煤堆積量推定値と比較し、及び
前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値と前記エミッションベースの煤堆積推定値との差が予め定められた値を超える場合に警告を与える、ように構成された制御装置、
を備えるディーゼルエンジン。 - 前記制御装置は、NO2及びO2ベースの煤再生による煤の消費を計算するとともに、この計算された煤の消費の速度を使用して前記エミッションベースの煤堆積推定値を計算するように構成されている、請求項13に記載の排気後処理システムを有するディーゼルエンジン。
- 前記制御装置は、エンジン回転数、空燃比、EGRの使用並びに燃料角度のうちの一つ又は複数、外気温度、エンジンの吸気温度並びに排気温度のうちの一つ又は複数を含む温度測定値、及びNOxエミッションの測定値、を含むデータに基づいて煤の排出及び煤の消費を計算するように構成されている、請求項14に記載の排気後処理システムを有するディーゼルエンジン。
- 前記制御装置は、前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積量推定値と前記エミッションベースの煤堆積量推定値のうちの一つが予め定められた煤堆積量の限界値に達したときに、前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積量推定値を前記エミッションベースの煤堆積量推定値と比較するように構成されている、請求項11に記載の排気後処理システムを有するディーゼルエンジン。
- 前記制御装置は、前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積量推定値が前記煤堆積量の限界値に達したときにDPF再生を始動させるように構成されている、請求項14に記載の排気後処理システムを有するディーゼルエンジン。
- 前記制御装置は、エンジン回転数、空燃比、EGRの使用並びに燃料角度のうちの一つ又は複数、外気温度、エンジンの吸気温度並びに排気温度のうちの一つ又は複数を含む温度測定値、及びNOxエミッションの測定値、を含むデータに基づいて煤の排出を計算するように構成されている、請求項11に記載の排気後処理システムを有するディーゼルエンジン。
- 前記制御装置は、測定された排気質量流量及び排気温度を含むファクターに基づいて前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積量推定値を計算するように構成されている、請求項11に記載の排気後処理システムを有するディーゼルエンジン。
- 排気後処理システムを有するディーゼルエンジンの警告システムであって、
前記排気後処理システムは、前記エンジンの排気管の下流のディーゼル酸化触媒(DOC)及び前記DOCの下流のディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ(DPF)を含んでおり、
前記警告システムが、
DPF全体の圧力損失を測定するためのセンサ、及び
測定された圧力損失に基づいて圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値を計算し、
エンジンモデルから計算された煤の排出に基づいてエミッションベースの煤堆積推定値を計算し、
圧力損失ベースの煤堆積量推定値をエミッションベースの煤堆積量推定値と比較し、及び
前記圧力損失ベースの煤堆積推定値と前記エミッションベースの煤堆積推定値との差が予め定められた値を超える場合に警告を与えるように構成された制御装置、を含むディーゼルエンジンの警告システム。
