Abstract
Description
図2は、内径dの細い配管49に挿入した長尺体20を示す。本図は、配管49に挿入された長尺体20の先端部22に取り付けられたLEDチップ10から配管49の内部に紫外光が照射されている状態を示している。例えば、LEDチップ10として1mm角のLEDチップを1個使用し、1mm角のLEDチップを密着して固定できるよう先端部22を直径1.5mmの円柱形状とする場合、長尺体20の直径は1.5mm程度となる。そうすると、配管の内径d=2mm程度の細い配管に対しても長尺体20を挿通して内部に紫外光を照射することができる。なお、配管の内部を効果的に殺菌するためには、長尺体20を配管に挿入する方向に移動させる場合と、挿入した長尺体20を配管から抜く方向に移動させる場合のいずれにおいても紫外光を照射することが望ましい。
Claims (5)
- 長尺体と、
前記長尺体の先端部に密着して固定されるLED(Light Emitting Diode)チップと、を備え、
前記長尺体は、
当該長尺体の長手方向に延び、前記LEDチップを発光させるための電流を流す導電部と、
前記導電部を被覆して当該導電部の電気的な絶縁を確保する絶縁部と、
を有することを特徴とする光照射装置。 - 前記LEDチップは、紫外光を発することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光照射装置。
- 前記LEDチップを被覆して保護するとともに、前記LEDチップが発する紫外光を透過する被覆部をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光照射装置。
- 前記長尺体は、弾性的に復元可能な可撓性を有することを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の光照射装置。
- 前記先端部の近傍に設けられ、当該先端部の近傍を屈曲させる屈曲機構と、
前記屈曲機構による屈曲方向を、当該長尺体における前記先端部とは反対側の端部から制御可能とする制御部と、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の光照射装置。
