Abstract
【解決手段】複数の金属素線13にて撓み可能に編成された金属編組部4の端部をかしめ付けることによって端子金具3が取付けられる端子金具付き導体Cであって、金属編組部4の端部には各素線13同士が抵抗溶接により溶着されて被かしめ部8が形成されている。この被かしめ部8は端子金具3に設けられたバレル部6にかしめられて取付けがなされている。素線13同士が溶着によって相互に接合されて固められているため、バレル部6とのかしめ状況が安定する。

Description
(1)本発明の端子金具付き導体は、金属編組部が被かしめ部を金属編組部の長手方向の両端部に有するとともに、両被かしめ部のそれぞれに端子金具が取付けられ、かつ、両端子金具間に位置する金属編組部は絶縁部材によって覆われているようにすると良い。
このような構成によれば、金属編組部を覆う絶縁部材により、金属編組部の防食を図ることができる。
(2)前記絶縁部材は、金属編組部を挿通可能な筒状に形成され、かつ金属編組部を所定の湾曲状態に矯正可能な形状保持機能を有する材質にて形成されていると良い。
(3)前記絶縁部材は熱収縮チューブであり、この熱収縮チューブは金属編組部に挿通した状態で金属編組部を長さ方向に収縮させる方向に付勢力を付与することで、金属編組部を所定の湾曲形状に矯正する構成であっても良い。
図1はハイブリッド車両あるいは電気自動車において、モータ1とPCU(パワーコントロールユニット)2との間が、3つの端子金具付き導体Cによって接続される状況を示している。同図に示すように、モータ1側及びPCU2側の対向部位にはそれぞれ3つずつ端子部1A,2Aが並列して設けられている。モータ1側とPCU2側の対向する端子部1A,2A同士の間は、例えば100mm程度に接近した区間となっている。なお、図示の各端子部1A,2Aにはスタッドボルト1B,2Bが立設されている。
(1)各端子金具付き導体Cは、図1に示すように、モータ1とPCU2との各対応する端子部1A,2A間に架け渡され、端子金具3の装着孔7へスタッドボルトを差し込んでナット(図示しない)にて締め付けてやれば、モータ1とPCU2においてそれぞれ対応する端子部1A,2A間の電気的接続がとられる。前述したように、モータ1とPCU2側との対応する端子部1A,2A間の距離は短いが、金属編組部4及び熱収縮チューブ12は共に良好な撓み性を有するため、接近した端子部1A,2A間の接続も容易に行うことができる。
(2)金属編組部4の両端部を抵抗溶接することによって、外周部に位置する素線13同士が溶着して固められるため、従来のように素線13がばらけてしまうことがないから、被かしめ部8をバレル部6と安定的にかしめることができる。したがって、引張強度を高めることができ、また両間の接触抵抗の安定化を図ることもできる。
(3)さらに、被かしめ部8の中心部においては素線13間が隙間なく埋められているため、電気抵抗を低下させることに寄与する。
(4)さらにまた、金属編組部4を金属編組線Hの連続体から製造するようにしているため、後の切断を前提とすれば、一度の溶接作業にて二カ所の被かしめ部8を同時に形成することができる。したがって、金属編組部4の製造効率を高めることができる。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施例に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような実施例も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。
(1)上記実施例では金属編組部4の両端部を抵抗溶接して被かしめ部8を形成するようにしたが、抵抗溶接に代えて超音波溶接によって形成するようにしても良い。但し、その場合には予め各素線13の表面に施されている錫メッキを剥がしておくと良い。
(2)上記実施例では、金属編組部を金属編組線Hの連続体に熱溶着を行ってから所定長さをもって切断することにより形成したが、予め所定長さに切断されたものを熱溶着するようにしても良い。
(3)上記実施例では、本実施例に係る端子金具付き導体Cを、モータ1とPCU2との間の電気的接続に利用したが、使用部位はこれに限定されるべきものではない。
(4)上記実施例では金属編組部4の両端に同種の端子金具3を装着したが、異なる端子金具を装着するようにしても良い。

Claims (4)
- 複数の金属素線にて撓み可能に編成された金属編組部の端部をかしめ付けることによって端子金具が取付けられる端子金具付き導体であって、
前記金属編組部の端部には前記各金属素線同士が溶着されて被かしめ部が形成され、かつこの被かしめ部が前記端子金具に設けられた導体接続部にかしめられて取付けがなされていることを特徴とする端子金具付き導体。 - 前記金属編組部は前記被かしめ部を前記金属編組部の長手方向の両端部に有するとともに、両被かしめ部のそれぞれに前記端子金具が取付けられ、
かつ、前記両端子金具間に位置する前記金属編組部は絶縁部材によって覆われていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の端子金具付き導体。 - 前記絶縁部材は、
前記金属編組部を挿通可能な筒状に形成され、かつ前記金属編組部を所定の湾曲状態に矯正可能な形状保持機能を有する材質にて形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の端子金具付き導体。 - 前記絶縁部材は熱収縮チューブであり、この熱収縮チューブは前記金属編組部に挿通した状態で前記金属編組部を長さ方向に収縮させる方向に付勢力を付与することで、前記金属編組部を所定の湾曲形状に矯正することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の端子金具付き導体。
