Description

The present invention relates to a filter unit that collects particulates in the air.

As a filter unit for collecting fine particles in the air, a filter unit including a filter and a frame-like body surrounding the filter is known (Patent Document 1, etc.). By filling the seal member between the filter and the frame-like body, the filter and the frame-like body are hermetically sealed. Thereby, leakage of fine particles can be suppressed from between the filter and the frame.

While the filter is made of a flammable material such as a nonwoven fabric, the frame body is often formed of a non-flammable material such as a metal plate. Therefore, after use, it is preferable to separate them and dispose of them separately. However, when the sealing member as described above is used, the filter and the frame-like body are firmly bonded, so that it is difficult to separate them. Therefore, usually, the filter and the frame-like body are discarded as industrial waste in a bonded state without being separated. However, considering environmental problems in recent years, it is preferable to separate the filter and the frame body and discard them. Further, since the frame-like body can be reused, it is desirable that it can be separated from the filter after use.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a filter unit that can separate a filter and a frame-like body while adopting a simple structure.

The filter unit of the present invention includes a filter, a frame-like body on which the filter can be mounted, and a seal member filled between the filter and the frame-like body. A coating agent containing a thermoplastic material is applied to a surface of the frame-like body that faces the seal member. Moreover, the viscosity of the sealing member is lower than the viscosity of the coating agent.

In the present invention, when heat is applied to the filter unit, the coating agent is softened, whereby the frame-like body can be separated from the filter. Thereby, a filter and a frame-like body can be processed separately (discard, reuse, etc.).

In the present invention, since the frame and the filter can be separated by applying heat to the filter unit, the filter and the frame can be separately processed (discarded, reused, etc.).

(A) is a perspective view of the filter unit which concerns on embodiment of this invention, (b) is sectional drawing (figure along the IB-IB line) of a filter unit. It is the perspective view which showed the assembly process of the filter unit in order. It is the perspective view which showed the decomposition | disassembly process of the filter unit in order.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described.

Here, the filter unit 100 which is embodiment of this invention is demonstrated below, referring FIGS.

[Filter unit]
As shown in FIG. 1, the filter unit 100 includes a filter 1 and a frame 2 surrounding the filter 1. A seal member 3 is filled between the filter 1 and the frame-like body 2 (see FIG. 1B). An application agent 4 is applied to the surface of the frame-like body 2 that faces the seal member 3.

(filter)
The filter 1 is formed by folding a filter material sheet into a pleat shape. The filter 1 may be a glass fiber nonwoven fabric, an electret-treated polypropylene fiber nonwoven fabric, a polytetrafluoroethylene porous membrane nonwoven fabric, an organic fiber nonwoven fabric such as polyester, polyethylene, or polypropylene.

(Frame body)
As shown in FIG. 1A, the frame-like body 2 is formed in a quadrangular frame shape, and is separable into four flat plate portions 21, 22, 23, and 24 (see FIG. 2). The flat plate portions 21, 22, 23, and 24 are mounted on the upper side surface, the lower side surface, the right side surface, and the left side surface of the filter 1, respectively.

The flat plate portions 21, 22, 23, and 24 are provided with a front side portion and a rear side portion that are opposed to each other in the front-rear direction along the longitudinal direction (the “front side of the“ flat plate portion 23 ”in FIG. 2A). Part 23a "and" rear part 23b "). The front side portion 23 a is disposed along the front surface of the filter 1, and the rear side portion 23 b is disposed along the back surface of the filter 1. Thereby, leakage of the seal member 3 can be prevented, and air can be prevented from flowing between the filter 1 and the frame 2. Moreover, since the edge part of the filter 1 can be hold | maintained, even if the force of the front-back direction acts on the filter 1 because air passes the filter 1, the filter 1 is hard to remove | deviate from the frame-shaped body 2. FIG.

The frame-like body 2 can be a metal plate such as an aluminum plate, a galvanized steel plate, or a stainless steel plate. Also, a plastic plate such as polypropylene or PVC can be used.

(Seal member)
The seal member 3 is made of a material having a lower viscosity than the coating agent 4. For the sealing member 3, a thermosetting resin such as urethane resin, epoxy resin, or silicon resin, moisture curable resin, or the like can be used, and one having a viscosity of 900 mPa · s or less is preferable. Since such a material has a low viscosity, it easily penetrates between the filter 1 and the frame 2. Therefore, by filling the material between the filter 1 and the frame-like body 2, these airtightness can be enhanced. Thereby, leakage of air and fine particles from between the filter 1 and the frame-like body 2 can be suppressed. The seal member 3 hardly softens even when heat is applied.

(Coating agent 4)
The coating agent 4 is applied to the inner surface of the frame-like body 2 (the surface facing the filter 1). Thereby, the frame-like body 2 and the seal member 3 are bonded. As the coating agent 4, a material containing a thermoplastic resin is used. For example, hot melt or (product name) Intellimer (trademark of Landick Co., USA) (manufactured by Nitta Corporation) can be used. Since such a coating agent 4 has a relatively high viscosity, it hardly penetrates between the filter 1 and the frame body 2 even in a molten state. Therefore, the coating agent 4 is used for adhesion between the filter 1 and the frame-like body 2 (seal member 3) rather than sealing the filter 1 and the frame-like body 2 (improving airtightness).

Next, a method for assembling the filter unit 100 will be described with reference to FIG.

First, as shown in FIG. 2A, the coating agent 4 is applied to the inner side surfaces (surfaces facing the filter 1) of the flat plate portions 21, 22, 23, 24. Next, the liquid sealing member 3 is applied on the coating agent 4 (see FIG. 2B). The flat plate portions 21, 22, 23, and 24 are attached to the upper side surface, the lower side surface, the right side surface, and the left side surface of the filter 1 in a gel state where the seal member 3 is not cured.

When disassembling the filter unit 100, the filter unit 100 is heated in the heating furnace 50 (see FIG. 3A). Thereby, the flat plate part 21,22,23,24 can be removed from the filter 1 and the sealing member 3 because the thermoplastic resin contained in the coating agent 4 softens (refer FIG.3 (b)). Here, FIG. 3 (b) shows a case where the coating agent 4 remains only on the inner surface of the flat plate portions 21, 22, 23, 24 at the time of separation. It may be attached to the seal member 3.

As described above, according to the filter unit 100 of the present embodiment, the thermoplastic resin of the coating agent 4 is softened by applying heat to the filter unit 100, so that the frame 2 is separated from the filter 1. Can do. Thereby, the filter 1 and the frame-like body 2 can be separated and discarded. Further, the frame-like body 2 can be reused by attaching the frame-like body 2 to another filter.

As mentioned above, although embodiment of this invention was described based on drawing, it should be thought that a specific structure is not limited to these embodiment. The scope of the present invention is defined by the terms of the claims, rather than the description above, and includes all modifications within the scope and meaning equivalent to the terms of the claims.

For example, the method of assembling the filter unit 100 is not limited to the order shown in the present embodiment, and can be changed.

In the embodiment described above, when the filter 1 and the frame-like body 2 are separated, the filter unit 100 is heated by the heating furnace 50 (see FIG. 3A), but the heating method is limited to the method described above. I can't. For example, the filter unit 100 may be heated on a hot plate.
