Abstract
【解決手段】マトリックス材料の硬度を増大し、その耐摩耗性を改善するための硬質相材料を提供する。硬質材料はAlB8-16構造を有するホウ化アルミニウム材料である。ホウ化アルミニウム硬質相は、粒子状ホウ化アルミニウムをマトリックス材料と混合、マトリックス材料からのホウ化アルミニウムの析出を介してマトリックス材料に組み込んでもよい。ホウ化アルミニウム硬質相を含む材料を硬質耐摩耗性材料を提供するために、コーティング用途に用いてもよい。冶金生成物の硬度及び耐摩耗性を改善するために、ホウ化アルミニウム硬質相を冶金生成物に組み込んでもよい。

Description
鉄ベース合金
実験的なセットにおいて、好適なAlB12の鉄ベース合金への添加を立証した。ホウ化アルミニウムの添加により、合金のかなり強化された硬度を生じた。
実験上のセッティングにおいて、ニッケルベース合金にAlB12を添加することが立証された。ホウ化アルミニウムの添加により、合金の硬度がかなり増大した。
実験上のセッティングにおいて、コバルトベース合金への好適なAlB12の添加が立証された。ホウ化アルミニウムの添加により、合金の硬度がかなり増大した。
Claims (36)
- 一般式AlB8-16のホウ化アルミニウムを備えた耐摩耗性材料。
- 前記材料が、金属材料、セラミック材料、ポリマー材料のうちの少なくとも一つを備えた請求項1に記載の耐摩耗性材料。
- 前記金属材料が、鉄、ニッケル、コバルト材料のうちの一つを含む請求項2に記載の耐摩耗性材料。
- 前記金属材料が鉄ベース合金を備え、該合金がクロム、モリブデン、及びタングステンを含む請求項2に記載の耐摩耗性材料。
- 前記セラミック材料が、アルミナ、チタニア、又はジルコニアセラミックのいずれか一つを含む請求項2に記載の耐摩耗性材料。
- 前記ポリマー材料が芳香族ポリアミドを含む請求項2に記載の耐摩耗性材料。
- 前記ポリマー材料がポリマーオレフィンを含む請求項2に記載の耐摩耗性材料。
- 前記ホウ化アルミニウムがホウ化アルミニウムの離散的な粒子を備えた請求項1に記載の耐摩耗性材料。
- 前記離散的な粒子は0.5から500ミクロンの間の範囲の径を有する請求項8に記載の耐摩耗性材料。
- 前記ホウ化アルミニウムは、前記耐摩耗性材料において5〜90体積パーセントの割合で存在する請求項1に記載の耐摩耗性材料。
- さらにアルミニウムを含む請求項1に記載の耐摩耗性材料。
- 前記アルミニウムは1〜10原子パーセントで存在する請求項11に記載の耐摩耗性材料。
- 一般式AlB8-16のホウ化アルミニウムを備えた耐摩耗性材料を作製する方法において、
(a)一般式AlB8-16のホウ化アルミニウムを供給する段階と、
(b)前記ホウ化アルミニウムを金属材料、セラミック材料、ポリマー材料のうちの一つに組み込む段階と、
を備えた方法。 - 前記のホウ化アルミニウムを金属材料に組み込む段階は、前記ホウ化アルミニウムと前記金属材料とを組み合わせるサブ段階と、該組み合わせたものを粉末に噴射乾燥するサブ段階とを含む請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記のホウ化アルミニウムを供給する段階は、アルミニウムとホウ素とを組み合わせて一般式AlB8-16のホウ化アルミニウムを作製するサブ段階と、鉄、ニッケル又はコバルトを備えた金属材料と組み合わせるサブ段階と、粒子状に霧状にするサブ段階とを備えた請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記の霧状にするサブ段階は、気体、水、又は遠心噴霧法のうちの一つを含む請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記金属材料は、鉄、ニッケル又はコバルト材料のうちの一つを備えた請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記金属材料は、Fe52.3Mn2Cr19Mo2.5W1.7B16C4Si2.5;Ni64Cr27Mo6Fe3;Ni54Cr22Mo2Fe22;Ni69Cu31;Ni63.0Cr24.6Mo8.2Fe3.3W0.7V0.2;及びその混合物のうちの一つを備えた請求項13に記載の方法。
- 一般式AlB8-16のホウ化アルミニウムを備えた耐摩耗性材料を作製する方法において、
(a)一般式AlB8-16のホウ化アルミニウムを供給する段階と、
(b)アルミニウムを供給する段階と
(c)前記ホウ化アルミニウム及びアルミニウムを金属材料、セラミック材料、ポリマー材料のうちの一つに組み込む段階と、
を備えた方法。 - 前記金属材料は硬度“x”を有するとき、前記ホウ化アルミニウムを組み込むと前記硬度は“y”に増大し(ここでy>x)、前記アルミニウムを組み込むと前記硬度は“z”に増大する(ここでz>y)請求項19に記載の方法。
- 1−10原子%アルミニウムを前記金属材料に組み込んだ請求項19に記載の方法。
- 一般式AlB8-16のホウ化アルミニウムを備えた金属コーティング。
- 前記金属コーティングは、鉄、ニッケル又はコバルト材料のうちの一つを含む請求項22に記載の方法。
- 一般式AlB8-16のホウ化アルミニウムを備えた粉末材料。
- 一般式AlB8-16のホウ化アルミニウムを備えたワイヤー材料。
- 耐摩耗性材料を作製する方法であって:
一般式AlB8-16のホウ化アルミニウムを備えた材料を準備する段階と;、
前記材料を溶融する段階と;
基板上に前記溶融材料を付けて前記コーティングを作製する段階と;を備えた方法。 - 前記の材料を溶融する段階が熱噴射を備えた請求項26に記載の方法。
- 鉄合金の硬度を増大する方法において:
(a)硬度を有する鉄合金を供給段階と;
(b)ホウ化アルミニウムを一般式AlB8-16の鉄合金に添加する段階と;
(c)前記ホウ化アルミニウムの添加によって前記鉄合金の前記硬度を増大する段階と;を備えた方法。 - 前記鉄合金は、マンガン、クロム、ニッケル、モリブデン、タングステン、炭素、シリコン又はこれらの混合物のうちの一つを含む鉄合金である請求項28に記載の方法。
- 前記鉄合金は、Fe52.3Mn2Cr19Mo2.5W1.7B16C4Si2.55;Ni64Cr27Mo6Fe3;Ni54Cr22Mo2Fe22;Ni69Cu31;Ni63.0Cr24.6Mo8.2Fe3.3W0.7V0.2;及びその混合物のうちの一つを備えた請求項28に記載の方法。
- 粉末原材料を作製する方法であって:
金属粉末を準備する段階と;
一般式AlB8-16のホウ化アルミニウムを提供する段階と;
前記金属粉末と前記ホウ化アルミニウムとを組み合わせて前記粉末原材料を形成する段階と;を備えた方法。 - 前記組み合わせ段階には、液体成分を準備する段階と、前記金属粉末及び前記ホウ化アルミニウムを備えた液体スラリを作製する段階と、前記スラリを乾燥する段階と、を備えた請求項31に記載の方法。
- さらに金属バインダーを準備する段階を備え、前記組み合わせ段階が前記金属粉末、前記ホウ化アルミニウム及び前記バインダーを組み合わせることを含む請求項31に記載の方法。
- 一般式AlB8-16のホウ化アルミニウムを備えた冶金生成物。
- (a)一般式AlB8-16の粉末状ホウ化アルミニウムを供給する段階と;
(b)前記ホウ化アルミニウムを選択した形状に形成する段階と;備えた冶金生成物を作製する方法。 - 前記形成する段階が、プレス焼結、粉末鍛造、ホットプレス、押し出し成形、又は射出成形を備えた請求項35に記載の方法。
