Claims (22)
- 出力信号に応答する改善触覚効果を有し、ユーザによる操作のためのユーザインターフェースデバイスであって、
支持面と係合するよう適合されたベースシャーシと、
前記ベースに結合され、前記ユーザによって操作されるよう構成されたユーザインターフェース面を有するハウジングと、
前記ユーザインターフェース面に隣接し、前記出力信号に対応づけられている触覚フィードバック力を出力するよう構成された少なくとも1つの電気活性ポリマアクチュエータと
を備え、
前記ハウジングは、前記電気活性ポリマアクチュエータによって生成された前記触覚フィードバック力を強化するよう構成されているユーザインターフェースデバイス。 - 請求項1に記載のユーザインターフェースデバイスであって、前記ハウジングは、少なくとも1つのコンプライアントなマウントを用いて前記ベースに結合され、前記コンプライアントなマウントは前記ハウジングを前記ベースに対して変位させるための前記触覚フィードバック力をもたらす、ユーザインターフェースデバイス。

- 請求項1に記載のユーザインターフェースデバイスであって、前記ユーザインターフェース面は、ボタン、キー、ゲームパッド、ディスプレイスクリーン、タッチスクリーン、コンピュータマウス、キーボード、および、ゲームコントローラからなる群より選択されたインターフェースデバイスを含む、ユーザインターフェースデバイス。
- 音声信号の特性と一致する触覚効果をユーザインターフェースデバイスにおいて生成する方法であって、
電気活性ポリマアクチュエータが結合されたユーザインターフェース面を用意し、
前記音声信号を受信して、前記電気活性ポリマの作動が前記音声信号の特性と一致するように、前記音声信号の電圧のゼロ交差時に前記電気活性ポリマアクチュエータに電力を循環させること、
とを備える方法。 - 請求項18に記載の方法であって、前記特性は前記音声信号の周波数を含む方法。
- ユーザインターフェースデバイスにおいて音声信号に基づいて認識可能な触覚効果を生成する方法であって、
触覚効果を生み出すよう適合されたアクチュエータを有するデバイスを用意し、
複数のデータを含む情報信号を受信し、
前記情報信号内の前記データを音声信号に変換し、
前記触覚効果を生み出すために触覚信号を前記アクチュエータに供給し、前記触覚信号は前記情報信号内の前記データが前記触覚効果から認識可能であるように前記音声信号の特性に基づくこと、
を備える方法。 - 請求項20に記載の方法であって、前記触覚信号は前記音声信号の特性に基づいて触覚周波数で変調される方法。
- 請求項20に記載の方法であって、前記触覚信号は前記音声信号のラウドネスまたは強度エンベロープに基づいて変調される方法。
