本発明の実施形態から、携帯用電子機器本体の後面及び側面に、PC樹脂の補強板とシリコーンゴムの弾性層とからなる薄肉の積層一体カバーを嵌合固定することにより耐衝撃性に優れた電子機器を構成できることが明らかとなった。
(A)積層一体カバーの外表面は、シリコーンゴムの弾性層で構成されているので、ソフトな感触でハンドリングできる携帯用電子機器を提供することができる。
(B)積層一体カバーの外表面は、シリコーンゴムの弾性層で構成されているので、落下、衝突時の耐衝撃性に優れた電子機器を提供することができる。
(C)弾性層を着色シリコーンゴムから構成するか、または、透明シリコーンゴムから構成してその上に色塗装をし、さらに印刷により加飾することでデザインの選択肢が増す。
(D)本発明では、補強板と弾性層が一体成形されているので、一々カバーを被せる必要がなく、カバーが外れる心配もない。
