Abstract
【解決手段】リチウムイオン二次電池10は、正極活物質として、粒子表面に導電層を有するリン酸鉄リチウムを用いた非水電解液型の二次電池である。リチウムイオン二次電池10の電池缶12内には、電極構造体11が電解液とともに収納されている。電極構造体11は、正極21と、負極31と、正極21と負極31との間に介在されるセパレータ41とを備え、正極21、セパレータ41及び負極31を重ね合わせた状態でロール状に巻回してなる。セパレータ41は、2枚のセパレータ材42の間に、ポリビニルピリジン樹脂43を挟みこんだ3層構造を有している。ポリビニルピリジン樹脂43は、セパレータ材42を介して正極21及び負極31と絶縁されている。

以下、本発明を非水電解液型のリチウムイオン二次電池に具体化した第1の実施の形態を図面に基づき詳細に説明する。図1は本実施の形態におけるリチウムイオン二次電池10を示す断面図であり、図2はそのリチウムイオン二次電池10を構成する電極構造体11を示す拡大断面図である。

Claims (5)
- 正極活物質としてリチウム化合物を用いた非水電解液型のリチウムイオン二次電池において、
電池内にフッ化水素を除去するフッ化水素除去材を収容するとともに、前記フッ化水素除去材を正極及び負極と絶縁された状態で配置したことを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。 - 前記フッ化水素除去材は、前記正極と前記負極とを隔てるセパレータにおいて前記正極及び前記負極と非接触の位置に設けられた状態で、電池内に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記フッ化水素除去材は、電解液が通過可能であってかつ絶縁性を有する収容体内に収容された状態で、電池内に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 電池内には前記正極、前記負極及びそれらを隔てるセパレータを含んで構成された積層構造物または巻回構造物が収容されるとともに、前記フッ化水素除去材は、電池内における余剰スペースに配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記リチウム化合物は、オリビン型リン酸リチウム化合物であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
