Abstract
Description
Claims (12)
- タイヤに組み込み可能なRFID装置であって、
互いに反対の端部及び互いに反対側の側部によって画定されている頂面及び底面を備えたプリント回路板(PCB)を有し、
前記PCBの前記頂面に設けられた複数個の導電性トレースを有し、
前記PCBの一端部に形成された切欠きを有し、
前記頂面から前記底面まで前記PCBを貫通したメッキスルービアを有し、
前記PCBの前記頂面のところで前記ビアを包囲した導電性トレース要素を有し、前記トレース要素は、前記複数個の導電性トレースに電気的に結合され、
前記PCBの前記底面のところで前記ビアを包囲すると共に前記PCBの前記側部の方向に所定の距離にわたって延びる導電性ソルダパッドを有し、
前記切欠き内に且つ前記PCBの前記頂面によって定められている平面内に位置決めされた端部を備えるアンテナ素子を有し、前記端部の一部分は、前記頂面から前記底面まで前記ビアを通って、前記PCBの前記底面のところで前記ビアを包囲している前記導電性トレース要素に電気的に接続されている、RFID装置。 - 前記PCBの前記頂面に実装されると共に前記複数個の導電性トレースのうちの選択された導電性トレースに電気的に結合された集積回路デバイスを更に有する、請求項1記載のRFID装置。
- 前記アンテナ素子は、螺旋巻きの導体から成る、請求項1記載のRFID装置。
- 前記螺旋巻き導体は、ターン相互間でシングルピッチで巻かれている、請求項3記載のRFID装置。
- 前記切欠きは、前記螺旋巻き導体の前記ピッチにマッチした部分を備えている、請求項4記載のRFID装置。
- 前記ビアは、前記整合切欠き部分からの前記螺旋巻き導体の前記ピッチの延長部に対応した場所で前記PCB内に位置決めされている、請求項5記載のRFID装置。
- 前記PCB及び前記アンテナ素子の少なくとも一部分を包囲すると共に前記切欠きを埋めた非導電性エラストマー材料を更に有し、前記エラストマー材料と前記切欠き内における前記アンテナの位置決めと前記PCBの前記平面との相乗作用により、前記PCBへの前記アンテナの接続を可能にする制御された応力勾配が得られている、請求項1記載のRFID装置。
- 前記非導電性エラストマー材料を前記アンテナ素子及び前記PCBに固定する結合剤を更に有する、請求項7記載のRFID装置。
- 前記PCBの反対側の端部のところに位置決めされた第2の切欠きと、前記PCBを貫通した第2のメッキスルービアと、前記第2の切欠き内に且つ前記PCBの前記頂面により定められた前記平面内に位置決めされた第2のアンテナとを更に有する、請求項1記載のRFID装置。
- RFID装置を組み立てる方法であって、
頂面、底面、互いに反対側の端部、及び互いに反対側の側部を備えたプリント回路板(PCB)を用意するステップと、
シングルピッチヘリカルアンテナ素子を用意するステップと、
前記互いに反対側の端部に切欠きを形成し、前記切欠きが部分的に、前記ヘリカルアンテナ素子の前記シングルピッチに対応したピッチを備える案内部分として構成されるようにするステップと、
前記シングルピッチヘリカルアンテナ素子の前記ピッチに対応するよう位置決めされたメッキスルービアを前記PCBに設けるステップと、
前記PCBのための支持及び保持構造体を備えた組立てジグを用意するステップと、
アンテナ支持チャネルを前記組立てジグの表面に設けるステップと、
前記底面が露出された状態で前記PCBを前記組立てジグに取付け保持するステップと、
アンテナ素子を支持チャネル内に配置するステップと、
前記アンテナ素子を前記支持チャネル内で回転させると共に前進させることにより前記アンテナ素子の端部を前記PCBに設けられたビア中に通すステップと、
前記アンテナの前記端部を前記PCBの前記底面の前記メッキスルービアの一部分にはんだ付けして組立て装置を生じさせるステップとを有する、方法。 - 集積回路を前記PCBの前記頂面に実装するステップと、
前記集積回路を受け入れる凹部を前記組立てジグの平面に設けるステップとを更に有する、請求項10記載の方法。 - 前記組立て装置を結合剤で被覆するステップと、
非導電性エラストマー材料を前記PCB及び前記アンテナ素子の少なくとも一部分に塗布するステップとを更に有する、請求項10記載の方法。
