Abstract
【解決手段】基板上に配置される複数の信号線と、前記複数の信号線に接続され、第1副画素電極及び第2副画素電極を含む画素電極と、前記画素電極と対向する共通電極と、前記画素電極と前記共通電極との間に配置される液晶層と、前記第2副画素電極に接続されるスイッチング素子の出力端子と前記第1副画素電極との間に接続される昇圧キャパシタと、を含み、前記昇圧キャパシタは、前記スイッチング素子の出力端子と接続される第1導電体と前記第1副画素電極と接続される第2導電体とが、絶縁膜を介して重畳して形成され、前記第2導電体は、前記スイッチング素子の出力端子に対向する端部に形成される切開部を有することを特徴とする。

Claims (10)
- 基板上に配置される複数の信号線と、
前記複数の信号線に接続され、第1副画素電極及び第2副画素電極を含む画素電極と、
前記画素電極と対向する共通電極と、
前記画素電極と前記共通電極との間に配置される液晶層と、
前記第2副画素電極に接続されるスイッチング素子の出力端子と前記第1副画素電極との間に接続される昇圧キャパシタと、を含み、
前記昇圧キャパシタは、前記スイッチング素子の出力端子に接続される第1導電体と前記第1副画素電極に接続される第2導電体とが、絶縁膜を介して重畳して形成され、
前記第2導電体は、前記スイッチング素子の出力端子に対向する端部に形成される切開部を有することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記第2導電体の切開部の幅は、前記第1導電体と前記スイッチング素子の出力端子との間の接続部の幅と同一であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第2導電体の切開部の長さは、前記第2導電体の長さ方向を基準として、前記第1導電体の長さと前記第2導電体の長さとの差と同一であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第2導電体の切開部の長さは、前記第2導電体の長さ方向を基準として、前記第1導電体の長さと前記第2導電体の長さとの差と同一であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記共通電極はドメイン分割手段を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記液晶層は、前記第1副画素電極が占める領域で第1方向ドメインと第2方向ドメインに分割され、前記第2副画素電極が占める領域で第3方向ドメインと第4方向ドメインに分割されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1方向ドメインは上下ドメインであり、前記第2方向ドメインは左右ドメインであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1副画素電極と前記第2副画素電極は互いに分離され、
前記第2副画素電極に接続される前記スイッチング素子は、前記第1副画素電極と前記第2副画素電極との間に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1副画素電極と前記共通電極との間に充電される電圧は、前記第2副画素電極と前記共通電極との間に充電される電圧より高いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1副画素電極と前記第2副画素電極の周縁に沿って延長される維持電極をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
