ー結合剤と結合していないものとする。
本発明の複合材シートの興味深い用途は積層床材である。従来の積層床板では、コアはプレスを施した木質繊維(「高密度ファイバーボード」、HDF)から構成され、カバー層はHPLシートから構成される。このような場合、床板は好ましくは、接着剤を用いることなく前側及び縦方向側で互いに接合される。使用中、例えば掃除時又は大気の影響により、湿気が隙間内に浸透し、しばらくして床材の周辺部の膨潤を引き起こす恐れがある。このような膨潤は、床材の光学的性質及び取扱適性に不利な影響を与える。この問題は、本発明の複合材シートでは発生しない。コア層は感湿性を有さないため、膨潤は発生せず、床材の耐久性は著しく伸びる。従って、本発明の複合材シートは湿気に暴露された状態における高い寸法安定性を有する。また、より軽いコア層により達成される軽量化は、例えば運搬及び取り扱いに際して重要な役割を果たす。

HPL積層シートのカバー層により様々な表面設計と、本発明に係る複合材シートの構築とが可能になるため、数多くの装飾的な表面設計が実現される。
Claims (8)
- 2つのカバー層A及びその間に配置されたコア層Bを備え、各カバー層AはHPLシートから形成され、前記コア層B及び前記カバー層Aは接着剤を用いて互いに接着されている、高圧積層シート(HPLシート)をベースにした複合材シートにおいて、前記コア層Bは含量35〜80重量%の強化用繊維及び含量20〜85体積%の空隙を有する繊維強化熱可塑性プラスチックから成り、前記接着剤は前記コア層の表面に存在する気孔内に機械的に固定されることを特徴とする複合材シート。
- 前記HPLシートは、互いにスタックされるとともに樹脂を含浸させた複数のセルロース繊維組織シートから成り、少なくとも1.4g/cm3の密度を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の複合材シート。
- 前記熱硬化性プラスチックはポリプロピレンであり、前記強化用繊維はガラス繊維であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の複合材シート。
- 前記カバー層は厚さ0.5〜2.0mmを有し、前記コア層は厚さ1〜10mmを有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の複合材シート。
- 前記接着剤は発泡型一液型ポリウレタン接着剤、プラスチックベースのホットメルト接着剤、フェノール樹脂又はメラミン樹脂接着剤、若しくはユリアホルムアルデヒド接着剤であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の複合材シート。
- 前記コア層Bは更なる複合材シートのコア層に結合するための周辺固定手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の複合材シート。
- 前記カバー層及び前記コア層は接着剤を用いて0℃から140℃の間の温度及び0.1バールから20バールの間の圧力で非連続的にプレスされることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の複合材シートを製造する方法。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の複合材シートの、積層床材の製造への使用。
