Abstract

Claims (10)
- nタイプ領域とpタイプ領域との間に配置された発光層を含む半導体発光デバイスと、
前記半導体発光デバイスに対して受光関係に位置する波長変換材料を含む透明セラミック体とを備え、前記セラミック体は更に、前記半導体発光デバイスに向いた底部表面を更に有する発光装置において、
前記セラミック体は、前記底部表面に対して斜めの角度にある少なくとも1つの側部表面を有することを特徴とする発光装置。 - 前記斜め角は、95°より大であるか、または85°よりも小である、請求項1に記載の発光装置。
- 前記斜め角は、100°より大であるか、または80°よりも小である、請求項1に記載の発光装置。
- 前記セラミック体の少なくとも1つの斜めの側部表面は、反射性コーティングを有する、請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記セラミック体と前記反射性コーティングとの間に前記セラミック体よりも屈折率が小さい中間層が、収納されている、請求項4に記載の発光装置。
- 前記セラミック体は、マイクロ波形部が設けられた頂部表面を有する、請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記セラミック体は、光学的機能を含むように設けられた頂部表面を有する、請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記セラミック体は、反射性コーティングが設けられた頂部表面を有する、請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記セラミック体と前記反射性コーティングとの間に前記セラミック体よりも屈折率が小さい中間層が、収納されている、請求項6に記載の発光装置。
- 前記底部表面と前記半導体発光デバイスとの間に前記セラミック体よりも屈折率が小さい中間層が、収納されている、請求項1乃至9の何れか1項に記載の発光装置。
