Description

The present invention is formed on a molding surface of at least one of, for example, an upper die or a lower die constituting a pair of molds used for press working for molding an outer plate member of an automobile such as a roof, a door outer, and a hood outer. The present invention relates to a press apparatus having a plurality of recessed portions for collecting dust on a molding surface of a mold.

Automotive outer plate members (roof, door outer, hood outer, etc.) are formed by pressing such that a workpiece such as a metal panel is sandwiched between a pair of molds and the mold is pressed by a press machine. When such press work is continuously performed, dust such as material residue, chips and foreign matter may enter between the mold and the workpiece. At this time, the dust bites into the mold, and dust scratches are continuously generated on the workpiece to be molded. Therefore, when dust enters between the mold and the workpiece, dust scratches are generated on one or more workpieces, requiring reworking.

For this reason, in order to prevent dust from entering the mold, hard chrome plating is performed on the molding surface of the mold, and a technique for attaching dust to the workpiece has been conventionally performed. It explains using. FIG. 5 is a side cross-sectional view showing a state during press working in a conventional press apparatus. 5 includes an upper die (die) 36 and a lower die (punch) 34, and the upper die 36 and the lower die 34 sandwich a panel 32 that is a workpiece. The upper mold 36 and the lower mold 34 are plated on their molding surfaces.

In FIG. 5, when the dust 38 enters between the mold and the panel, the dust 38 adheres to the panel 32 by the plating process applied to the molding surface 33 of the mold. In this way, dust scratches are prevented from occurring in the panel 32 that is continuously formed.
However, although dust in the mold is removed to prevent the generation of dust scratches, it is inevitable that the product is produced with dust attached to the workpiece to be molded. The processed material is a defective appearance.

Therefore, Patent Document 1 (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2005-334908) and Patent Document 2 (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 56-62627) are disclosed as techniques for removing dust and reducing the appearance defect of a workpiece. .
In patent document 1, it is a press apparatus for shape | molding the to-be-processed material interposed between die | dye and a punch, Comprising: At least any one groove | channel is formed in the shaping | molding surface of at least one of a die | die and a punch. The concave grooves are composed of a plurality of concave grooves arranged substantially parallel to a certain direction and a plurality of concave grooves arranged substantially parallel to a direction substantially orthogonal to the direction. It has been proposed that foreign substances are easily dropped into the concave groove.

Moreover, in patent document 2, many round holes are formed in a part of molding surface of a press apparatus by a drill process, and it is easy to push the foreign material which entered between a metal mold | die and a workpiece into a round hole. Proposed.

However, in Patent Document 1, if the mold is damaged due to continuous press work and dust enters between the mold and the workpiece, the edge of the bushing is repaired by repairing the damaged portion with a conventional bushing. Since a bushing burr always exists in the groove on the bushing line, maintenance is difficult, and an air hole for exhausting air between the workpiece and the mold cannot be set.
Further, in Patent Document 2, since round holes are formed by drilling, chips generated at the time of round hole processing remain on the mold forming surface, and although they are always cleaned, dust scratches on the workpiece are generated. There is a risk of causing. In addition, since a large number of round holes are formed in the press device, there is a possibility that a large number of round holes in the mold will appear as a design on the workpiece after pressing when pressed by a press machine. In addition, the number of machining steps becomes large.

Conventionally, molds have been provided with air holes for exhausting the air that accumulates between the workpiece and the mold, resulting in poor appearance of the workpiece due to the recessed grooves and round holes formed in the mold. However, neither Patent Document 1 nor Patent Document 2 discloses any relationship with the air holes.
Therefore, in view of the problems of the prior art, the present invention has an object to provide a press apparatus having a recessed portion that can facilitate maintenance of a mold and can suppress an appearance defect of a workpiece. To do.

In order to solve such a problem, in a press device including a pair of molds for press-molding a workpiece on a molding surface, a recess for collecting dust is formed on the molding surface of at least one mold, and the recess is a circle. It is characterized by being arranged without being interposed at the edge of a circular bushing formed by an annular groove and repairing the mold.

When dust enters between the mold and the workpiece and the mold is damaged, the damaged portion is repaired by a conventional bushing. At this time, if there is a recess in the bushing line (bushing line), the mold When leveling the molding surface, it is necessary to match the recessed portion, and maintenance is difficult. Therefore, according to such an invention, the concave portion is formed as an annular groove and disposed without being interposed at the edge of a circular bushing for repairing the die, so that the maintenance of the die is facilitated.

Further, the recess is formed by etching.
Thus, the pattern having the above-described annular groove can be easily processed by using etching at the time of processing the recessed portion.

Further, an opening is formed in the molding surface of the one mold, and an air hole for exhausting air between the workpiece and the mold is further provided, and the opening is disposed at a central portion of the annular groove. It is characterized by.
Thus, since the opening of the air hole is provided in the central portion of the annular groove of the recessed portion, the air accumulated between the workpiece and the mold can be quickly exhausted.

Further, the mold includes a reinforcing rib on the back surface of the molding surface, and a circular recess is formed at the center of the annular groove of the recessed portion formed on the molding surface corresponding to the reinforcing rib. It is characterized by.
The mold is provided with a reinforcing rib on the back side of the molding surface and is reinforced, but an air hole penetrating the mold cannot be provided at a portion where the reinforcing rib is formed. Therefore, the molding corresponding to the reinforcing rib is performed. The center of the annular groove of the recessed portion formed on the surface is not an opening, but a circular recess is formed to remove dust between the mold and the workpiece, and the workpiece It is possible to efficiently exhaust the air accumulated between the molds.

ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the press apparatus which can make the maintenance of a metal mold | die easy and has a recessed part which can suppress the external appearance defect of a workpiece can be provided.

It is a top view which shows the lower mold forming surface of the press apparatus which concerns on embodiment of this invention. FIG. 2 is a partially enlarged view of FIG. 1. It is side surface sectional drawing which shows the state at the time of the press work in the AA cross section of FIG. It is side surface sectional drawing which shows the state at the time of the press work in the BB line cross section of FIG. It is side surface sectional drawing which shows the state at the time of the press work in the conventional press apparatus.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawings. However, the dimensions, materials, shapes, relative arrangements, and the like of the components described in this embodiment are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention only to specific examples unless otherwise specified. Only.

A press apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 is a plan view showing a lower mold forming surface of a press apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, and the lower mold 4 includes a recessed portion 5 on the molding surface. The recessed portion 5 accommodates and removes dust such as material residue, chips, and foreign matter that enter between the mold and the panel that is the workpiece. In FIG. 1, the recessed portion 5 is formed entirely on the molding surface of the lower mold 4 without unevenness, but may be provided only on a part of the molding surface of the lower mold 4 depending on the application.

Next, the recessed part formed in a metal mold | die is demonstrated using FIG. FIG. 2 is a partially enlarged view of the molding surface of the lower mold 4 shown in FIG.
The lower mold 4 includes a plurality of recessed portions 5 formed on the molding surface, a contact surface 3 that is not formed with the recessed portions 5 and is in contact with a workpiece, and an air hole 7 that draws air from the mold. . Moreover, although not shown in figure, the lower mold | type 4 is equipped with the rib which is a vertical wall for maintaining the intensity | strength of a casting on the back surface.

The recessed portion 5 includes a ring-shaped groove (annular groove) and a plurality of circular recesses formed around the ring-shaped groove, and forms a regular pattern as shown in FIG. is doing. By adopting such a pattern, by combining the groove portion and the recess portion, the area of the recessed portion 5 for collecting dust is expanded and the dust is collected without reducing the panel, and the dust scratch defect rate is reduced. .
The pattern is formed by etching (chemical corrosion) used in resin-type embossing. Thus, the pattern of the concave portion can be easily processed by using etching for processing the concave portion 5.

In the pattern of the recessed portions shown in FIG. 2, the diameter of the recess of the circular shape positioned outside diameter d 1 of the groove of the ring-shaped 3.8 mm, an inner diameter d 2 2.4 mm, the center of the groove of the ring-shaped the d 3 0.7 mm, the ring-circular recessed portion diameter d 4 of which is formed around the groove shape, d 5, 1.0 mm and d 9, 0.7 mm to d 8, a ring-shaped groove The distances d 6 and d 7 from the center to the center of the circular recess formed around the center are 4.5 mm, but are not limited.

FIG. 3 is a side cross-sectional view showing a state at the time of pressing in the cross section along line AA in FIG. 2.
The press apparatus shown in FIG. 3 includes an upper mold 6 and a lower mold 4, and the upper mold 6 and the lower mold 4 sandwich a panel 2 that is a workpiece. The lower mold 4 includes a recessed portion 5 that is recessed in a direction perpendicular to the panel 2 and a contact surface 3 that contacts the panel 2.

In this embodiment, the processing depth h of the recessed portion 5 is 0.2 mm, and this processing depth is a depth at which the dust 8 can be removed. The processing depth h of the recessed portion 5 is preferably formed within a range in which fine dust of about 0.1 mm is removed instead of large dust that enters due to equipment factors.

When the upper die 6 is lowered toward the lower die 4 to form the panel 2, the upper die 6 and the lower die 4 cooperate to plastically deform the interposed panel 2. At this time, since the panel 2 slides on the contact surface 3 of the lower mold 4, even if dust exists between the panel 2 and the lower mold 4, the panel 2 slides and moves. That is, the dust 8 is dropped into the recessed portion 5. Thereby, it is possible to prevent dust from being sandwiched between the mold and the panel, to reduce rework due to generation of dust scratches, and to reduce costs.

On the other hand, if dust is sandwiched between the mold and the panel, the dust may bite into the mold and damage the mold. As a method for repairing the damaged portion of the mold, a method called bushing is generally used. Bushing is a repairing method that fills a lump of the same material as the mold into the opening caused by removing the damaged or damaged opening, and then leveling the top of the lump and its peripheral part. . At this time, if there are concave grooves or holes for removing dust in the bushing line (bushing edge) that is the joint between the mold and the lump, a step is easily formed when lumping the lump, resulting in a bushing burr. This may be a cause of dust, and may appear as a design on the panel, resulting in poor appearance.

In the present embodiment, since the recessed portion 5 is provided by combining a ring-shaped groove in addition to a plurality of circular recesses, the bushing line is formed without the recessed portion 5 on the line as shown in FIG. 10 can be set. Therefore, the joint between the mold and the lump becomes inconspicuous, and the mold maintenance becomes easy. Here, the diameter d10 of the bushing line 10 is 20 mm.

Next, the positional relationship between the recessed portion and the air hole will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 and 4. FIG. 4 is a side cross-sectional view showing a state at the time of pressing in the cross section taken along line BB in FIG. In addition, the same reference numerals are given to the portions having the same configuration as in FIG. 2 shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 4, the press device includes an upper die 6 and a lower die 4, and the upper die 6 and the lower die 4 sandwich a panel 2 that is a workpiece. The lower mold 4 includes a recessed portion 5 that is recessed in a direction perpendicular to the panel 2, a contact surface 3 that contacts the panel 2, an air hole 7 formed through the lower mold 4, and the lower mold 4. Reinforcing ribs 9 are provided.

Generally, when the air hole 7 is opened in the lower mold 4, the adhesion between the lower mold 4 and the panel 2 is increased. Therefore, when the recessed portion 5 is formed at a position approaching the air hole 7, the panel 2 that is rounded to some extent tends to be straight, or the panel 2 appears to be bent because it is depressed at the recessed portion 5. . On the other hand, the number of the recessed portions 5 formed in the mold is desired to be as large as possible in order to remove dust entering between the mold and the panel. However, the range in which the recessed portion is provided is limited for the reason described above.
Therefore, the range of the recessed portion that can suppress the appearance failure is set.

In the present embodiment, the air hole 7 is formed at the center of a ring-shaped groove (hereinafter referred to as an annular groove) of the recessed portion 5.
Moreover, the annular groove with a hollow part which formed the circular-shaped hollow part 12 in the center of the annular groove of the recessed part 5, and the annular ring with an air hole which formed the air hole 7 in the center of the annular groove of the recessed part 5 Grooves are mixed.
By providing the air hole 7 and the recessed portion 5 in this manner, the annular groove with the recessed portion and the annular groove with the air hole can ensure the same contact with the panel 2, and therefore, by combining them, it is uniform. Can be ensured, the air holes can improve the adhesion between the mold and the panel, and the appearance defect of the panel can be suppressed. In addition, as described above, in order to remove the dust entering between the mold and the panel, the concave portion 5 is provided on the entire molding surface as much as possible to remove the dust between the mold and the panel, thereby reducing the rework caused by the generation of dust scratches. Can reduce costs.
Although the present embodiment has been described focusing on the lower mold, the same effect can be obtained even if the above-described recessed portion is disposed only on the upper mold or on both the lower mold and the upper mold.

Also, as shown in FIG. 4, the air hole 7 formed through the lower mold 4 cannot be provided at a location where the rib 9 for reinforcing the lower mold 4 is provided, and therefore corresponds to at least the rib 9. By forming the concave portion having the annular groove with the concave portion on the molding surface 3, it becomes possible to more efficiently form the concave portion and the air hole in the molding surface 3.

According to the present invention, the mold maintenance can be facilitated, and the recessed portion that can suppress the appearance defect of the workpiece is provided, which is beneficial when applied to a press apparatus.
