Abstract
【解決手段】メッシュネットワークの制御ノードを実施する無線通信デバイスである。システム情報を中継し、中央ポイントで再設定処理の決定を行うことによって、決定が存在しないか分散決定が存在するメッシュ接続形態またはセミメッシュ接続形態を用いている通信システムの性能を改善する。このデバイスは、802.11 LANのアクセスポイント内で実施されることが好ましい。

Description
2.BSまたはAPが、互いに「リスン(listen:聴く)」してもしなくてもかまわないが、他のBSまたはAPを介して互いに情報を中継することができ、その結果セミメッシュネットワーク(準メッシュネットワーク)で通信できる、ポイントツーマルチポイントネットワーク(たとえば、WLAN 802.11、TDD−UMTS、802.16 TDDなど)のセットに適用された、1に記載の手段。
3.BSまたはAPが、互いに「リスン」してもしなくてもかまわないが、そのリモートノード(たとえば、ユーザWTRU)を介して互いに情報を中継できる、2に記載の手段。
4.BSまたはAPが、互いに「リスン」してもしなくてもかまわないが、別の種類のインフラストラクチャネットワークを介して、互いに情報を交換できる、2に記載の手段。
複数のネットワーク化された基地局を有する無線通信アクセスネットワークを提供する。本発明は、モバイルユニットまたはモバイルWTRUが、めいめいのネットワークステーションすなわちBSまたはAPによって提供される地理的受信地域(受信可能範囲サービスエリア)のめいめいの領域に入り、かつ/またはその中を移動する際に、モバイルユニットまたはモバイルWTRUと共に使用される時に特に有用である。

Claims (1)
- メッシュ型ネットワーク内のノードとしての複数の無線送信/受信ユニット(WTRU)と無線通信を行うように構成されたWTRUであって、
現在制御ノードがある場合にその制御ノードのアイデンティティを示すデータを有する開始メッセージを含んだメッシュメッセージを受信するように構成された受信機コンポーネントと、
現在制御ノードがある場合にその制御ノードのアイデンティティを示すデータを含む開始メッセージを含んだメッシュメッセージを生成するように構成されたプロセッサコンポーネントと、
生成された開始メッセージを含んだ生成されたメッセージをメッシュ通信に参加することを求めるWTRUへ送信するように構成された送信機コンポーネントと
を具備することを特徴とするWTRU。
