即ち、ライニングを圧縮空気により破損した配管の内壁に圧着した後、紫外線ランプを備えた台車が一定の速度でライニング内を走行する。このとき、紫外線硬化樹脂をライニング周囲で均等に硬化させるために、紫外線ランプをライニング或いは配管の軸中心線上に位置させなければならない。
