The present invention relates to a non-contact power feeding device. That is, the present invention relates to a non-contact power supply device that charges, for example, a battery of an electric vehicle from the outside in a non-contact manner based on an electromagnetic induction mutual dielectric action.

《Technical background》
FIG. 4 (1) is a perspective explanatory view for explaining the basic principle of this type of non-contact power feeding apparatus.
As shown in the figure, a non-contact power feeding device 3 that supplies electric power from a primary coil 1 to a secondary coil 2 based on a mutual dielectric action of electromagnetic induction has been conventionally known. Used for battery charging.
In other words, the primary coil 1 wound around the primary magnetic core 4 is disposed opposite to the secondary coil 2 wound around the secondary magnetic core 5, so that magnetic flux formation in the primary coil 1 causes 2 A dielectric electromotive force is generated in the next coil 2 to supply electric power.

《Information on prior art documents》
As such a non-contact electric power feeder 3, what was shown by the following patent documents 1, 2, and 3 is mentioned, for example.

International Publication No. 99/08359

<Conventional technology>
FIG. 3 is used to explain this type of conventional example. (1) FIG. 3 is a plan view of the primary side (plan view of the secondary side), and (2) is a diagram of the primary side and the secondary side. The front view and (3) are side sectional views of the primary side and the secondary side.
First, in this type of non-contact power feeding device 3, the primary side A and the secondary side B form a symmetrical structure. In the conventional contactless power supply device 3 of this type, the primary magnetic core 4 and the secondary magnetic core 5 have, for example, a substantially U-shaped or substantially E-shaped concavo-convex shape, and a large number of them have a predetermined mutual interval. It was arranged in a plane. Then, using the primary magnetic core 4 and the secondary magnetic core 5, the primary coil 1 and the secondary coil 2 are wound in a square shape or a circular shape as shown in the drawing between the recesses, respectively. It was.
The primary side A and the secondary side B are arranged opposite to each other through the air gap C, and the dielectric electromotive force is applied to the secondary coil 2 by energizing the primary coil 1 and forming the magnetic flux D. As a result, electric power was supplied from the primary side A to the secondary side B, and the battery connected to the secondary side B was charged.

By the way, the following problems have been pointed out with respect to such a conventional example.
<First problem>
1stly, about this kind of conventional non-contact electric power feeder 3, further improvement in efficiency and improvement in charging efficiency were desired.
For example, in this type of conventional example, since the concave and convex primary and secondary magnetic cores 4 and 5 are used, the magnetic flux D distribution is as shown in the front explanatory view of FIG. Become. That is, since the magnetic flux D in the air gap C between the primary side A and the secondary side B arranged opposite to each other during power feeding is distributed and concentrated toward the pole, the magnetic flux D density is extremely close to the pole. Get higher. Since the magnetic flux D density in the air and its magnetomotive force are proportional, a large magnetomotive force is required corresponding to the high density, and consequently, a larger excitation current is required for the primary coil 1, and accordingly, Joule heat loss also increased, contributing to a decrease in charging efficiency.
Furthermore, Joule heat loss due to the generation of eddy currents has been pointed out as a factor in reducing charging efficiency. That is, with respect to the primary coil 1 and the secondary coil 2 wound in a square shape, the alternating magnetic flux D formed in the direction perpendicular to the paper surface in FIG. A loop current L, which is a kind of eddy current, flows (see also FIG. 2 (4) described later), and Joule heat loss is generated accordingly.
Accordingly, the non-contact power feeding device 3 of this type of conventional example has a charging efficiency of about 86%, and further energy saving has been desired.

<< Second problem >>
Secondly, it has been desired that the non-contact power feeding device 3 of this type of conventional example has a larger gap.
That is, in this type of conventional example, as described above with reference to FIG. 2 (3), the magnetic flux D density in the air gap C is high, and accordingly, a large excitation current is required and a large amount of Joule heat is required. There is a drawback of incurring losses. On the other hand, in order to further increase the air gap C in order to improve ease of use, an excessive excitation current is required.
After all, in this type of conventional example having a high magnetic flux D density, the air gap C is limited to about 50 mm, and a large gap has been desired.
That is, the primary side A and the secondary side B which are arranged opposite to each other during power feeding are easy to use, for example, the positioning operation for power feeding becomes easier as the air gap C between them is wider. On the other hand, in the case of a small gap like this type of conventional example, it is necessary to consider collision avoidance between the primary side A and the secondary side B at the time of setup for power feeding, and the operation is troublesome. There has been a desire to increase the gap and improve the ease of use.

《Third problem》
Thirdly, for the non-contact power feeding device 3 of this type of conventional example, further reduction in size and weight has been desired.
In particular, the secondary side B, also referred to as a pickup, has been eagerly desired to be small and light in view of being always mounted on a vehicle for charging a battery of an electric vehicle such as a microbus. In contrast, this type of conventional example has a weight of, for example, about 70 kg.
One reason for this is that in this type of conventional example, as described above, the concave and convex primary and secondary magnetic cores 4 and 5 are used, as shown in FIGS. 3 (2) and 3 (3). As shown, the thickness was increased by the unevenness, which contributed to an increase in size and weight.
The primary side A primary coil 1, the primary magnetic core 4, etc., the secondary side B secondary coil 2, the secondary magnetic core 5, etc. are molded resin for heat dissipation and positioning fixing, respectively. Although it was covered and fixed (see FIG. 1 (2), which will be described later), the weight of the mold resin is also a factor in increasing the weight.

<About the action>
Since the present invention comprises such means, the following is achieved.
(1) In this non-contact power feeding device, the primary side and the secondary side are arranged facing each other with an air gap when feeding.
(2) When an exciting current is passed through the primary coil, a magnetic flux is formed, a magnetic path is formed between the primary coil and the secondary coil, and an electromotive force is generated in the secondary coil.
(3) In this way, electric power is supplied from the primary side to the secondary side by the mutual dielectric action of electromagnetic induction.
(4) Now, in this non-contact power feeding device, a flat magnetic core and a flat spiral coil are used in combination. Therefore, when power is supplied, the magnetic flux is distributed in a parallel, uniform, and sparse manner in the air gap, and the magnetic flux density is lowered. Therefore, the magnetomotive force and the exciting current for forming the magnetic flux can be reduced, and the Joule heat loss is reduced Is done.
(5) Further, when the coil is twisted at a constant pitch, the electromotive force of the loop current, which is a kind of eddy current, is offset, and the loop current and Joule heat loss are reduced.
(6) Since the non-contact power feeding apparatus has a low magnetic flux density and a small magnetomotive force and excitation current as described above, the air gap can be set wider accordingly.
(7) If the ratio of the outer diameter to the inner diameter of the wound coil is about 2: 1, a high coupling coefficient is obtained, and strong electromagnetic coupling is maintained even if the air gap is widened. Is done.
(8) Furthermore, since this non-contact power feeding apparatus employs a flat magnetic core and a flat coil, both the primary side and the secondary side are thin, and the size and weight are reduced accordingly. 9) Moreover, weight reduction is accelerated | stimulated by mixing a foaming material in the mold resin of a primary side and a secondary side.
(10) Then, the non-contact electric power feeder of this invention exhibits the following effect.

<< First effect >>
First, charging efficiency is improved. That is, since the non-contact power feeding device of the present invention employs a combination of a flat magnetic core and a flat spiral coil, the magnetic flux density formed is low.
Accordingly, the magnetomotive force and the exciting current for forming the magnetic flux can be reduced, and the high efficiency can be realized by reducing the Joule heat loss.
Compared to the above-described conventional example, that is, the conventional example in which a coil is wound around a concavo-convex magnetic core, the magnetic flux density is low, and accordingly, charging efficiency is improved and energy saving is achieved.

<< Second effect >>
Secondly, a large gap is realized and usability is improved. That is, the non-contact power feeding device of the present invention employs a flat magnetic core and a flat spiral coil, so that the magnetic flux density in the air gap is low.
Since the magnetic flux density is low, the air gap between the primary side and the secondary side can be set wider to improve usability. For example, as compared with the conventional example in which a coil is wound around a concavo-convex magnetic core, the magnetic flux density is sparser, and accordingly, the air gap can be set wider.
Since a large gap is realized in this way, positioning is easy between the primary side and the secondary side that are positioned opposite to each other during power feeding, and ease of use is improved, such as reducing considerations for collision avoidance. To do.

《Third effect》
Thirdly, the size and weight can be reduced. That is, the non-contact power feeding device of the present invention employs a flat magnetic core and a flat coil, so that the thickness is reduced by half and the weight is reduced compared to the conventional example in which a coil is wound around an uneven magnetic core. Is done. Furthermore, since the foaming material is mixed in the mold resin for heat dissipation and positioning and fixing, the weight is reduced.
As a result, the weight of the secondary side, that is, the pickup is about half that of this type of conventional example. In view of the fact that the pickup is always mounted on the vehicle, for example, for charging a battery of an electric vehicle such as a microbus, the significance of such a small size and light weight is great.
As described above, the effects exerted by the present invention are remarkably large, such as all the problems existing in this type of conventional example are solved.

<< About the outline of the non-contact power feeding device 6 >>
First, the non-contact power feeding device 6 will be outlined with reference to FIG. 2 (1), FIG. 4 (2), and the like.
In the non-contact power feeding device 6, a general configuration for supplying electric power based on the mutual induction action of electromagnetic induction is publicly known. In other words, the primary coil 7 is guided to the secondary coil 8 by the formation of the magnetic flux D between the primary coil 7 on the primary side F and the secondary coil 8 on the secondary side G, which are arranged close to each other during power feeding. The point of generating electromotive force and sending electric power from the primary coil 7 to the secondary coil 8 is publicly known.
As shown in the representative example of FIG. 4 (2), the power supply side and the primary side F connected to the power panel of the power supply 9 on the external ground side are mounted on a microbus or other electric vehicle or train. When power is supplied to the power receiving side and the secondary side G, the power receiving side and the secondary side G are arranged opposite to each other through the air gap C that is a gap space without physical connection, and thus power is transmitted.
The secondary side G is connected to, for example, a vehicle-mounted battery 10, and the motor 11 is driven by the battery 10 charged by power feeding. Reference numeral 12 denotes a power supply communication control device.

The electromagnetic induction mutual dielectric action described above is as follows. When the primary coil 7 on the primary side F and the secondary coil 8 on the secondary side G are arranged in a non-contact manner and the primary coil 7 is energized with an alternating current as an exciting current, a magnetic field proportional to the current is generated. The magnetic flux D is formed in an annular shape in the perpendicular direction. And the electromotive force is produced | generated by the secondary coil 8 when the magnetic flux D formed and changed in this way penetrates the secondary coil 8, and is linked.
In this way, both the primary coil 7 and the secondary coil 8 that form a magnetic field and send electric power using the magnetic field form a magnetic path of the magnetic flux D as shown in FIG. The coupling coefficient between them varies depending on the position, shape and size of the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8, the distance dimension of the air gap C, the leakage amount of the magnetic flux D, and the like. .
The outline of the non-contact power feeding device 6 is as described above.

<< About the structure of the primary side F and the secondary side G >>
Next, the symmetric structure and internal structure of the primary side F and the secondary side G will be described with reference to FIG. 1 and FIG.
First, as shown in FIG. 2 (1), the non-contact power feeding device 6 has the same structure in which the primary side F and the secondary side G are symmetrical in the vertical direction during power feeding, as in this conventional example. Make. That is, the non-contact power feeding device 6 includes the primary side F including the primary coil 7, the primary magnetic core 13, the back plate 15, the cover 16 and the like, and the secondary side G includes the secondary coil 8 and the secondary magnetic core 14. , A back plate 15, a cover 16 and the like.
The primary side F and the secondary side G have the same vertically symmetrical structure when, for example, they are arranged vertically opposite to each other during power feeding. The cover 16, the primary coil 7 (secondary coil 8), the primary magnetic core 13 (secondary magnetic core 14), and the back plate 15 are arranged in this order from the inner side to the outer side of the symmetry plane.

The internal structure of the primary side F and the secondary side G is as follows. The surfaces of the primary coil 7 and the primary magnetic core 13 on the primary side F and the surfaces of the secondary coil 8 and the secondary magnetic core 14 are fixedly covered with a mold resin 17, respectively.
That is, in the example shown in FIG. 1 (2), the mold resin 17 is filled between the back plate 15 and the cover 16 on both the primary side F and the secondary side G, so that the internal primary and secondary sides are filled. The surfaces of the coils 7 and 8 and the primary and secondary magnetic cores 13 and 14 are fixed by covering.
The mold resin 17 is made of, for example, silicon resin. By hardening the interior in this way, the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 are positioned and fixed, and the mechanical strength is ensured and the heat dissipation function is also exhibited. That is, the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 generate heat due to Joule heat through an exciting current, but are radiated and cooled by heat conduction of the mold resin 17.

Further, a foam material 18 is mixed and embedded in such a mold resin 17. The foamed material 18 is made of, for example, foamed polystyrene or other foamed plastic, and is used to reduce the amount of the mold resin 17 and reduce the weight.
In the illustrated example, such a foam material 18 is provided around the inner and outer sides of the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 in a large and small ring shape, but the foam material is not limited to the illustrated example. Eighteen pieces may be mixed in the mold resin 17.
The structure of the primary side F and the secondary side G is as described above.

<< About the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8, and the primary and secondary magnetic cores 13 and 14 >>
Next, the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 and the primary and secondary magnetic cores 13 and 14 will be described with reference to FIGS.
The primary coil 7 and the secondary coil 8 have a structure in which conductive wires are spirally wound on the same surface. The primary magnetic core 13 and the secondary magnetic core 14 on which the primary coil 7 and the secondary coil 8 are disposed have a flat plate shape.

These will be further described in detail. First, the primary and secondary magnetic cores 13 and 14 are typically made of ferrite, solidified iron iron, or other ferrous material, are made of a ferromagnetic material having a large magnetic permeability, and have a strong magnetic flux D. Demonstrate display function and guide function. That is, the inductance between the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 is increased, the electromagnetic coupling between them is enhanced, and the formed magnetic flux D functions to induce, collect and direct the magnetic flux D.
As shown in FIG. 1, the primary and secondary magnetic cores 13 and 14 have a flat plate shape with no unevenness. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2 (2), the poles are not scattered and unevenly distributed between the primary side F and the secondary side G, and are made uniform and uniform. The distribution becomes parallel and uniform, and the uneven distribution and concentration of the magnetic flux D are avoided (the comparison with FIG. 2 (3) regarding this type of conventional example).

Corresponding to this, the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 are spirally wound on the same plane, thereby forming a circular flat shape.
That is, as shown in FIG. 1, the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 are arranged in parallel in order to reduce Joule heat loss, and insulated parallel conductors are connected in a circular space around the winding center. While being H, it is wound many times in a spiral shape, so that the whole forms an annular flange shape and a thin flat shape. Such primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 are arranged close to the symmetrical front surfaces of the corresponding primary and secondary magnetic cores 13 and 14, respectively. In the illustrated example, they are disposed in contact with each other.
Further, as shown in FIG. 1A, the ratio of the outer diameter J to the inner diameter K of the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 wound in this way is set to about 2: 1. By such setting, the coupling coefficient between the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 becomes a high value. This point is also supported by experiments.
Therefore, the electromagnetic coupling between the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 is strongly maintained even if the air gap C between them is wide.

Further, the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 wound in this way are twisted at a constant pitch interval. That is, for the wound primary and secondary coils 7 and 8, as shown in FIG. 2 (4), the alternating magnetic flux D (changes corresponding to the alternating current of the excitation current) in the direction perpendicular to the paper surface. When the magnetic flux D) that is alternately formed with the passage passes, an annular loop current L, which is a kind of eddy current, is induced between the lines and flows, thereby causing Joule heat loss.
Therefore, in the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8, as shown in FIG. 2 (5), the plurality of wound parallel conductors are kept flat while maintaining the flatness. Twisted at regular pitch intervals. That is, twisting is performed so that the positional relationship between a plurality of m pieces is sequentially converted one by one for each twisting point M and returned to the original positional relationship by m twists. ing. The twisted portions M are formed at a pitch of, for example, 5 to 6 per turn.
Such twisting cancels the electromotive force of the loop current L, and the loop current L and Joule heat loss are greatly reduced.
The primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 and the primary and secondary magnetic cores 13 and 14 are as described above.

《Action etc.》
The non-contact power feeding device 6 of the present invention is configured as described above. Therefore, it becomes as follows.
(1) The non-contact power feeding device 6 includes a power feeding side, that is, a primary side F including a primary coil 7, a primary magnetic core 13 and the like, a secondary coil 8, a secondary magnetic core 14 and the like for power feeding. The power receiving side, that is, the secondary side G is disposed opposite to each other with the air gap C therebetween.

(2) When an alternating current is applied to the primary coil 7 on the primary side F as an exciting current, a magnetic flux D is formed (see FIG. 2 (1)).
Accordingly, the magnetic path of the magnetic flux D is formed between the primary coil 7 on the primary side F and the secondary coil 8 on the secondary side G. The primary coil 7 and the secondary coil 8 are electromagnetically coupled between the two circuits, a magnetic field is formed between them, the magnetic flux D penetrates the secondary coil 8, and an electromotive force is generated in the secondary coil 8.

(3) In this non-contact power feeding device 6, power is supplied from the primary side F to the secondary side G by the mutual dielectric action of electromagnetic induction in this way.
That is, electric power is supplied from the external power source 9 and the primary side F connected thereto, taken out at the secondary side G, and the battery 10 connected thereto is charged ((2) in FIG. 4). (See diagram).

(4) Then, in this non-contact electric power feeder 6, it becomes as follows. First, in the non-contact power feeding device 6, flat primary and secondary magnetic cores 13 and 14 and flat and spiral primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 are used in combination. .
Therefore, in the magnetic path in the air gap C between the primary side F and the secondary side G arranged opposite to each other during power feeding, the magnetic flux D is distributed in a parallel, uniform, and sparse manner, and the magnetic flux D density is lowered. (Comparison between FIG. 2 (2) and FIG. 2 (3) for this type of conventional example).
Since the magnetic flux D density in the air and the magnetomotive force that forms the magnetic flux D are in a proportional relationship, the low magnetic flux D density can reduce the magnetomotive force and excitation current for forming the magnetic flux D. The Joule heat loss of the circuit is also reduced accordingly.
Therefore, for example, when magnetic fluxes D having the same density are formed, the present invention requires far smaller magnetomotive force, exciting current, and Joule heat loss than the above-described conventional example.

(5) Furthermore, this point is further promoted by twisting the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 of the non-contact power feeding device 6 at a twisting point M having a constant pitch ((( 5) See figure).
That is, by such twisting, the electromotive force of the loop current L (see FIG. 2 (4)), which is a kind of eddy current, is offset, and the loop current L and Joule heat loss are greatly reduced. To be reduced.
For example, based on the above points (4) and (5), the non-contact power feeding device 6 has a charging efficiency increased to about 92% compared to 86% of this type of conventional example described above. The

(6) Since the non-contact power feeding device 6 employs a combination of flat primary and secondary magnetic cores 13 and 14 and flat spiral primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 in combination. As described above, the density of the magnetic flux D is low, and the magnetomotive force and excitation current for forming the magnetic flux D can be small.
Therefore, the air gap C between the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 can be set wider as much. For example, in the case of the same value of excitation current, the present invention makes it possible to set the air gap C wider than this type of conventional example described above, and this type of conventional example in which the air gap C was about 50 mm. In comparison, the air gap C can be doubled to 100 mm.

(7) In this respect, the ratio of the outer diameter J to the inner diameter K of the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 of the non-contact power feeding device 6 wound in a spiral manner is set to about 2: 1. Followed by.
That is, since a high coupling coefficient can be obtained between the primary and secondary coils 7 and 8 by this, even if the air gap C is widened, strong electromagnetic coupling between the two is maintained.

(8) Furthermore, since the non-contact power feeding device 6 employs the flat primary and secondary magnetic cores 13 and 14 and the flat primary and secondary coils 7 and 8, the primary side F, On the secondary side G, the wall thickness E is thin, and the size and weight are reduced accordingly (FIG. 2 (2) and FIG. 3 (2), FIG. A comparative control). The wall thickness E is halved compared to the above-described conventional example.

(9) Moreover, the weight reduction of such a non-contact electric power feeder 6 is carried out by mixing the foam material 18 in the mold resin 17 of the primary side F and the secondary side G (refer FIG. 1). , Further promoted. That is, the filling amount of the mold resin 17 is reduced by the amount of the foam material 18 mixed therein, and the weight is further reduced.
For example, on the basis of the above points (8) and (9), the non-contact power feeding device 6 has a secondary side B, that is, the weight of the pickup, which is about 35 kg, compared with about 70 kg of this type of conventional example. And halved.

<Others>
According to the above description based on the illustrated example, the primary coil 7 and the secondary coil 8 both have a structure spirally wound on the same surface, and such a primary coil. Both the primary magnetic core 13 and the secondary magnetic core 14 on which the 7 and secondary coils 8 are arranged have a flat plate structure.
However, the following configuration is also conceivable for the non-contact power feeding device 6 without depending on such a configuration.
That is, only one side of the primary coil 7 or the secondary coil 8, for example, only the primary coil 7, has a structure that is spirally wound on the same surface as described above, and is provided with the structure. A configuration in which only the primary core core 13 or the secondary core core 14 on the side has a flat plate structure is conceivable. In this case, the other side where such a structure and configuration are not adopted is the primary coil 1 or the secondary coil 2 of this type of conventional example, or the primary magnetic core 4 or the secondary magnetic core having an uneven shape. 5 can be used.
As such a configuration example, the primary coil 7 having a structure spirally wound on the same plane and the primary magnetic core 13 having a flat plate structure are typically adopted as the primary side. A non-contact power feeding device 6 having a configuration is conceivable.
In this case, such a primary side can be established and applied as a single and separate configuration from the secondary side.
And about such a non-contact electric power feeder 6, the place mentioned above based on the example of illustration etc. applies mutatis mutandis about the function, an effect | action, an effect, etc.
Thus, a wider application of the inventive idea is also conceivable.
