自動二輪車、自転車等で使われるレバー類、又は農業機械などハンドル操作と同時にレバー操作が必要な装置で使用。

(3)運転操作中にハンドルから指を離すことは危険である。特にモトクロス競技では大怪我に繋がる場合がある。
