Description

The present invention relates to a portable information device that can be operated while worn on the body.

Among portable information devices that can be operated while worn on the body, there is a so-called wearable PC. Generally, a portable information device that is used while being worn on the body is configured in a small size so that it can be easily carried.

Conventionally, a wrist-worn device has been considered (for example, see Patent Document 1). The device described in Patent Document 1 includes an interface electronics, a housing that substantially encloses the interface electronics, that is, a base structure, and an RF interface / transceiver. It is configured to be attached to the body (eg wristband). In the device of Patent Document 1, the user wears a wristband. And it is used by, for example, placing the left palm of the user against the left side of the face while wearing the wrist.
Special table 2001-523080 gazette

Since the conventional wearable PC (portable information device) is small in size, it can be easily used by simply placing it on the left side of the face while wearing on the wrist.

However, in order to carry an information device (such as a personal computer) having a certain size and weight that cannot be used by attaching it to a wrist or the like, the information device must be carried in a safe state. There must be.

For example, by storing the information device in a bag-shaped portion, the information device can be carried in a protected state. However, when using information equipment, it is necessary to take it out of the bag-like part and make it usable, so it cannot be used while being carried around, and the work becomes complicated. End up.

The present invention has been made paying attention to the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a portable information device that can be easily carried and can be easily changed to a usable state while being carried. There is to do.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a portable information device that can be operated while worn on the body, a main body storage member that stores the main body of the device with the upper surface of the device open, and the main body storage A lid member attached to the member and capable of opening and closing in a first state covering the upper surface portion of the device and a second state opening the upper surface portion of the device, and a mounting member for mounting on the body attached to the lid member And a defining member that defines an interval between the lid member and the main body housing member that houses the apparatus main body when the lid member is in the second state.

Preferably, there is further provided fixing means for fixing the lid member in a third state covering the lower surface side of the apparatus. A touch panel 10a is provided on the upper surface of the apparatus main body.

According to the present invention, by attaching a mounting member for mounting on the body to the lid member, the lid member can be opened so that the upper surface of the apparatus can be opened, so that the main body storage member in which the apparatus main body is stored is the device. It is possible to leave the lid member by its own weight, and the space between the lid member and the main body storage member is defined by the defining member so that the apparatus can be used. That is, the lid member can be easily carried by setting it to the first state, and the lid member can be easily changed to a usable state while being carried by setting the lid member to the second state. It becomes possible.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
1 and 2 are external views showing a configuration of a wearable PC 1 (portable information device) in the present embodiment. FIG. 1 shows a state when the wearable PC 1 is being carried, and FIG. 2 shows a state when the wearable PC 1 is being used while being carried.

The apparatus main body 10 of the wearable PC 1 in the present embodiment has a certain size and weight, for example, and cannot be used in a simple usage form such as being worn on a wrist. The device main body 10 is provided with a touch panel 10a on the upper surface of the device, which is an input device, for example. Input is performed on the touch panel 10a by touching the input surface using the operation pen 12 (see FIGS. 3 and 4).

The apparatus main body 10 is stored in the main body storage member 13 with the apparatus upper surface (touch panel 10a) being opened. As shown in FIG. 2, the main body storage member 13 is provided with a storage unit that can hold the operation pen 12. When the operation pen 12 is not used, the wearable PC 1 can be easily carried by being held in the storage unit.

A lid member 14 for covering the upper surface of the apparatus main body 10 is attached to the main body storage member 13. The lid member 14 is attached to one side of the main body storage member 13 and can be opened and closed in a first state covering the upper surface portion (touch panel 10a) of the apparatus main body 10 and a second state opening the upper surface portion. . The lid member 14 is formed of a flexible material. When the lid member 14 is in the first state, the lid member 14 protects the input surface of the touch panel 10a, and is bent to the lower surface side of the apparatus body 10 to cover the lower surface side. It is possible to be in the state.

One attachment member 16 (shoulder belt) used for attaching the wearable PC 1 (device main body 10) to the body is attached to the lid member 14 via attachment fittings 15 provided at two locations. . The mounting member 16 can be worn around the neck or shoulder, for example, so that the wearable PC 1 can be carried. A mounting member 17 (waist belt) that can be mounted on the waist is attached to a mounting member holding portion 14a provided on the outer surface side of the lid member 14 (the side that does not cover the upper surface portion of the apparatus main body 10). Can also be worn on the body (see FIG. 3).

The lid member 14 is provided with a fixing member 18 for fixing the state of the lid member 14 at the end opposite to the side attached to the main body storage member 13. The fixing member 18 is detachable from an adhesive portion 13a provided on the outer surface portion of the main body storage member 13 or an adhesive portion 14b provided on the inner surface portion of the lid member 14 (the side covering the upper surface portion of the apparatus main body 10). An adhesive portion 18a is provided. For example, the adhesive portion 18a of the fixing member 18 and the adhesive portion provided on the main body storage member 13 or the lid member 14 are configured by a cloth tape having one hook shape and the other pile shape. It should be noted that other bonding methods can be used as long as they are detachable and can fix the state of the lid member 14 during bonding.

As shown in FIG. 1, the lid member 14 holds the upper surface portion of the apparatus main body 10 by bonding the bonding portion 18 a of the fixing member 18 and the bonding portion 13 a provided on the outer surface portion of the main body storage member 13. It can be in the first state. In the state shown in FIG. 1, since the mounting member 16 is attached to the end of the lid member 14 (the upper end in FIG. 1), the portion where the main body storage member 13 and the lid member 14 are attached (in FIG. 1) With the weight of the apparatus main body 10 applied to the lower end of the lid member 14, the upper surface portion (touch panel 10 a) of the apparatus main body 10 and the inner surface side of the lid member 14 can be fixed.

In the state shown in FIG. 1, the weight of the apparatus main body 10 is reduced to the lower end of the lid member 14 by separating the adhesive portion 18 a of the fixing member 18 and the adhesive portion 13 a provided on the outer surface portion of the main body storage member 13. Therefore, the apparatus main body 10 is separated from the lid member 14 by the weight of the apparatus main body 10, and the lid member 14 is in a second state in which the upper surface portion of the apparatus main body 10 is opened.

Mounting brackets 19 are provided on both sides of the lid member 14. In addition, mounting brackets 20 are provided on both side portions of the main body storage member 13. Between the mounting bracket 19 provided on the lid member 14 and the mounting bracket 20 provided on the corresponding main body storage member 13, a defining member 21 is mounted on both sides. When the lid member 14 and the main body storage member 13 (the apparatus main body 10) are separated from each other and the lid member 14 is in the second state, the defining member 21 is configured such that the lid member 14 and the apparatus main body 10 are The interval between the main body storage member 13 stored, that is, the angle of the upper surface portion of the apparatus main body 10 with respect to the lid member 14 that is in close contact with the body (abdomen) and is almost vertical when the wearable PC 1 is worn is defined. For example, the defining member 21 is configured so that an input operation using the operation pen 12 can be easily performed on the upper surface portion (touch panel 10a) of the apparatus main body 10 in a state where the wearable PC 1 is mounted on the body by the mounting member 16. The length is such that the input surface of the touch panel 10a is substantially horizontal.

Therefore, when the fixing member 18 is separated from the bonding portion 13a in the unused state shown in FIG. 1, the state can be changed to the state shown in FIG.

It should be noted that the length of the defining member 21 may be arbitrarily adjusted so that the interval between the lid member 14 and the apparatus main body 10 can be freely changed.

Further, the defining member 21 can be detached from the mounting bracket 19 and the mounting bracket 20 and can be removed when the wearable PC 1 is not used.

3 and 4 are diagrams illustrating an example of a state in which the wearable PC 1 is used while being carried.

As shown in FIG. 3, the wearable PC 1 can be easily carried by putting the mounting member 16 attached to the lid member 14 around the neck. In the example shown in FIG. 3, the mounting member 17 is attached to the mounting member holding portion 14 a provided on the outer surface side of the lid member 14, and this mounting member 17 is also mounted on the body at the waist. By further using the mounting member 17, the wearable PC 1 can be carried in a more stable state, and the input operation to the apparatus main body 10 can be performed stably (an erroneous input is unlikely to occur). . Even if the wearable PC 1 is in a state of being used, since it is mounted on the body by the mounting member 16 and the mounting member 17, other work can be performed using both hands.

FIG. 4 shows a state in which an input operation is performed on the touch panel 10 a of the apparatus body 10 using the operation pen 12. As shown in FIG. 4, the apparatus main body 10 (main body storage member 13) has an interval between the lid member 14 defined by the defining member 21 and is held in a substantially horizontal state, so that an input operation can be easily performed. it can.

Note that the wearable PC 1 can be attached to the body only by either the attachment member 16 that hangs around the neck or the attachment member 17 that wraps around the waist. When only the mounting member 17 is used, the mounting member holding portion 14a is provided at an appropriate position of the lid member 14 so that the apparatus main body 10 can be stably mounted only by the mounting member 17, and the apparatus main body 10 is mounted on the lid member 14. It shall be strong enough to be supported.

FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating a case where the wearable PC 1 is used in a mounted state.
As shown in FIG. 5, when the wearable PC 1 is used in a state of being placed on a desk or the like instead of being worn on the body, the lid member 14 is bent and fixed to the lower surface side of the apparatus main body 10. Set to the third state. By making the lid member 14 on the lower surface side of the apparatus main body 10, the lid member 14 does not get in the way when an input operation is performed in a state where the wearable PC 1 is placed. Further, since the lid member 14 is carried by a flexible material, for example, when the wearable PC 1 is used in a place with vibration, for example, in various vehicles, it serves as a cushion and can protect the apparatus main body 10. it can.

In FIG. 5, the defining member 21 is removed from the mounting bracket 19 and the mounting bracket 20 so as not to interfere with the input operation (the mounting bracket 19 is not shown in FIGS. 7 to 10). .

FIG. 6 shows a state when the wearable PC 1 is not used.
In FIG. 6, the fixing member 18 is fixed in the first state. Moreover, as shown in FIG. 6, by removing the defining member 21, it is possible to facilitate the handling of the wearable PC 1 when not in use. Further, by removing the mounting member 16 as well, there is no need to get in the way when the wearable PC 1 is stored.

Next, a case where the usage state of the wearable PC 1 is changed will be described.

7 and 8 are views showing the main body housing member 13, the lid member 14, and the fixing member 18 of the wearable PC 1 in a flat shape.
FIG. 7 shows a state where the lower surface of the main body storage member 13 (the lower surface side of the apparatus main body 10) is on the upper side.
As shown in FIG. 7, an adhesive portion 13 a to which the adhesive portion 18 a of the fixing member 18 can be bonded is provided on the back side of the apparatus main body 10 stored in the main body storage member 13. The adhesive portion 13a is provided at a position where it can be bonded to the adhesive portion 18a provided on the inner surface side of the fixing member 18 when the lid member 14 is in the first state (a state where the upper surface portion of the apparatus main body 10 is covered). Yes. A mounting member holding portion 14 a to which the mounting member 17 can be attached is provided on the outer surface side of the lid member 14.

FIG. 8 shows a state in which the upper surface portion (touch panel 10a) of the main body storage member 13 is expanded.
As shown in FIG. 8, an adhesive portion 14 b is provided on the inner surface side of the lid member 14 that covers the upper surface portion (touch panel 10 a) of the apparatus main body 10. The bonding portion 14 b is provided at a position where the bonding portion 14 b is bonded to the bonding portion 18 a provided on the fixing member 18 when the fixing member 18 is bent toward the inner surface side of the lid member 14.
