Abstract
【解決手段】カムシャフト5に設けられた駆動カム5aの回転に伴いリンクアーム21とロッカアーム23及びリンク部材24を介して弁作動部材8を揺動させることによりカム面20aを介して各吸気弁3,3を開閉作動させるようになっている。前記弁作動部材は、カムシャフトの外周を迂回するように湾曲形成された湾曲部位16を有し、上端の枢支部19が制御軸29の同軸部29aを揺動支点として揺動自在に支持されている一方、前記ロッカアームの中央部位が制御軸の制御カム30を揺動支点として揺動自在に支持されている。

Description
機関の運転状態に応じて回転制御され、回転軸心と同心の同軸部及び回転軸心から偏心した制御カムとを有する制御軸と、
一端側が前記駆動カムの外周面に当接して回転運動が伝達され、他端側が前記制御カムを揺動支点として揺動する揺動部材と、
該揺動部材から内側のリンクを介して伝達された揺動力によって前記同軸部を中心として揺動して機関弁を開閉作動する弁作動部材と、
前記揺動部材の一端側を駆動カムの外周面方向へ付勢する付勢手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
クランク軸の回転駆動力が伝達され、外周に駆動カムが設けられた駆動軸と、
機関運転状態に応じて回転制御され、回転中心と同心上の同軸部及び回転中心から偏心した制御カムとを有する制御軸と、
前記駆動カムの回転運動が変換された揺動力によって前記制御カムを揺動支点として揺動する揺動部材と、
該揺動部材から伝達された揺動力によって前記同軸部を中心に揺動して機関弁を開閉作動させる弁作動部材と、を有し、
前記揺動部材と弁作動部材が前記制御軸上に保持されていると共に、前記駆動軸を前記制御軸よりも機関弁側の下方に配置したことを特徴とする内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
前記弁作動部材を、前記駆動カムに対して前記駆動軸の軸線方向に異なった位置に配置すると共に、該弁作動部材の所定部位を、前記駆動軸を迂回するように湾曲状に形成したことを特徴とする請求項(3)に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。

Claims (4)
- クランクシャフトから回転駆動力が伝達され、外周に駆動カムが設けられた駆動軸と、
機関の運転状態に応じて回転制御され、回転軸心と同心の同軸部及び回転軸心から偏心した制御カムとを有する制御軸と、
前記駆動カムの回転運動が変換された揺動力によって前記制御カムを揺動支点として揺動する揺動部材と、
該揺動部材から伝達された揺動力によって前記同軸部を中心として揺動して機関弁を開閉作動させる弁作動部材と、
を備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関の可変動弁装置。 - クランクシャフトから回転駆動力が伝達される駆動軸に設けられた駆動カムと、
機関の運転状態に応じて回転が制御される制御軸に該制御軸の回転中心から偏心した位置に設けられた制御カムと、
前記駆動カムの回転運動が変換された揺動力によって前記制御カムを揺動支点として揺動する揺動部材と、
該揺動部材から伝達された揺動力を介して機関弁を開閉作動させる弁作動部材と、を備え、
前記揺動部材は、前記制御カムに揺動自在に支持されていると共に、前記弁作動部材は、一端側が前記制御軸に揺動自在に支持されて、該揺動部材と弁作動部材とはほぼ同じ揺動支点となり、前記揺動部材の姿勢位置に応じて前記弁作動部材が前記駆動軸の周りを揺動して機関弁のバルブリフト量とバルブタイミングを可変制御することを特徴とする内燃機関の可変動弁装置。 - 機関運転状態に応じて機関弁のバルブリフト量とバルブタイミングとを制御する可変動弁装置であって、
クランク軸の回転駆動力が伝達され、外周に駆動カムが設けられた駆動軸と、
機関運転状態に応じて回転制御され、回転中心と同心上の同軸部及び回転中心から偏心した制御カムとを有する制御軸と、
前記駆動カムの回転運動が変換された揺動力によって前記制御カムを揺動支点として揺動する揺動部材と、
該揺動部材から伝達された揺動力によって前記同軸部を中心に揺動する弁作動部材と、
該弁作動部材に当接し、前記機関弁を開閉作動させるカムフォロアと、を少なくとも有し、
前記駆動軸と前記カムフォロアとの離間距離を、前記制御軸とカムフォロアとの離間距離よりも短く形成したことを特徴とする内燃機関の可変動弁装置。 - 機関運転状態に応じて機関弁のバルブリフト量とバルブタイミングとを制御する可変動弁装置であって、
クランク軸の回転駆動力が伝達され、外周に駆動カムが設けられた駆動軸と、
機関運転状態に応じて回転制御され、回転中心と同心上の同軸部及び回転中心から偏心した制御カムとを有する制御軸と、
前記駆動カムの回転運動が変換された揺動力によって前記制御カムを揺動支点として揺動する揺動部材と、
該揺動部材から伝達された揺動力によって前記同軸部を中心に揺動してカムフォロアを介して機関弁を開閉作動させる弁作動部材と、を少なくとも有し、
前記駆動軸と前記カムフォロアとの離間距離を、前記制御軸とカムフォロアとの離間距離よりも短く形成したことを特徴とする内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
