Claims (19)
- 呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器は、
吸気流のエネルギにより運ばれた粉末薬剤を粉砕する実質的に円盤状の空気循環室を備え、前記循環室は、前記循環室の上壁および底壁の間に中心軸周りに延在する実質的に円形もしくは多角形の側壁を備え、前記循環室の高さはその直径よりも小さくなり、前記循環室の周囲には複数の空気供給路が配置され、これらの供給路は合流もしくは単独の空気流入口から延びて前記循環室の側壁に実質的に接線方向から接続し、前記供給路の少なくとも1つは前記吸入器の粉末投薬供給領域を通って延在し、前記循環室は、前記循環室の前記上壁および底壁の中央の排出開口から軸方向に延在し、マウスピースにつづく排出路に接続する空気流出口をさらに備え、
前記吸入器は、運ばれた粉末薬剤を粉砕する空気循環室を少なくともさらに1つ備え、前記複数の循環室は並列に前記マウスピースに接続されることを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 請求項1に記載の呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器において、
実質的に平らなハウジングを備え、少なくとも1つの循環室は前記循環室の中心軸が前記ハウジングの前記平面に交差して延在するように前記ハウジング内に配置され、前記排出路は前記ハウジングの前記平面上に延在するように前記ハウジング内に配置されることを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 請求項2に記載の呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器において、
前記マウスピースは前記ハウジングの端部に設けられることを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器において、
前記排出路と少なくとも1つの循環室は、略平行な平面上に延在することを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器において、
前記ハウジングは実質的に平らな部材を積み重ねて構成されることを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 請求項1から請求項5のいずれかに記載の呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器において、
前記排出路は、前記循環室の前記空気流出口に実質的に直交するように接続することを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 請求項1から請求項6のいずれかに記載の呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器において、
前記循環室はそれぞれ実質的に同一であることを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 請求項1から請求項7のいずれかに記載の呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器において、
実質的に同一な複数の円盤状の循環室を備え、前記複数の循環室は並列して配置されるとともに、前記循環室の上壁および底壁の間に中心軸周りに延在する実質的に円形もしくは多角形の側壁を備え、前記循環室の高さはその直径よりも小さくなり、前記循環室の周囲には複数の空気供給路が配置され、これらの供給路は合流もしくは単独の空気流入口から延びて前記循環室の側壁に実質的に接線方向から接続し、各循環室の前記供給路の少なくとも1つは、前記吸入器の粉末投薬供給領域を通って延在し、前記循環室は、それぞれ前記循環室の前記上壁および底壁の中央の排出開口から軸方向に延在し、マウスピースにつづく合流もしくは単独の排出路に接続する空気流出口をさらに備え、前記排出路は前記循環室の前記空気流出口に実質的に直交するように接続することを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 請求項1から請求項8のいずれかに記載の呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器において、
前記複数の循環室は、合流粉末投薬供給領域に接続されることを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 請求項1から請求項9のいずれかに記載の呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器において、
前記循環室の少なくとも2つは同一平面上に配置されることを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 請求項1から請求項9のいずれかに記載の呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器において、
前記循環室の少なくとも2つは平行な平面上に配置されることを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 請求項11に記載の呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器において、
前記合流もしくは単独な排出路は、前記平行な平面の間に配置される別の平面上に配置されることを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 請求項1から請求項12のいずれかに記載の呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器において、
前記ハウジングは使い捨てユニットとして構成されることを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 請求項1から請求項13のいずれかに記載の呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器において、
前記もしくは各粉末投薬供給領域は、予め計量された投薬量の粉末薬剤を内包する密封された投薬室によって構成され、前記投薬室は、前記供給路内に配置されて前記投薬室のシールが除去されるまで空気の通過を遮断することを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 請求項1から請求項14のいずれかに記載の呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器において、
前記もしくは各密封投薬室は、除去可能なカバーホイルによってシールされた膨張袋体(ブリスタポケット)であることを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 請求項1から請求項15のいずれかに記載の呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器において、
複数の密封投薬室が設けられるキャリアをさらに備え、前記キャリア上の前記投薬室は、前記吸入器の前記もしくは各供給領域に割当て可能であることを特徴とする呼吸作動乾燥粉末吸入器。 - 肺吸入のための装置において、
乾燥粉末薬剤が吸入器から吸入され、前記乾燥粉末は前記吸入器の実質的に円盤状の空気循環室において吸気流のエネルギにより粉砕され、前記吸気流の作用により、前記粉砕された薬剤は前記循環室から軸方向に排出された後、その方向が交差方向に変化されてマウスピース方向に供給されることを特徴とする装置。 - 肺吸入のための装置において、
乾燥粉末薬剤が吸入器から吸入され、前記乾燥粉末は前記吸入器の並列に配置された複数の実質的に円盤状の空気循環室において吸気流のエネルギにより粉砕され、前記吸気流の作用により、前記粉砕された薬剤は前記循環室から軸方向に排出された後、マウスピース方向に供給されることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項18または請求項19に記載の装置において、
大きな粒子は前記空気循環室の分級作用により前記循環室内に残存することを特徴とする装置。
