Abstract
Description

Claims (14)
- ジャケット内に複数のコードを備えたエレベータベルトアセンブリを製造する製造方法であって、
(a)上記複数のコードを所定の位置に位置決めするステップと、
(b)上記コードをストレッチさせるように所定の量だけコードに張力を掛けるステップと、
(c)所定のジャケット材料を付与するステップであって、これにより、上記コードが上記ジャケット内に封入されて、上記ジャケット内で上記コードがストレッチされた状態で保持されることとなるステップと、
を含んだ製造方法。 - 上記コードには、上記ベルトアセンブリがエレベータシステムに取り付けられたときにこのベルトアセンブリに生ずる予測最大荷重以上の荷重を用いて張力が掛けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 上記コードには、上記コードの破断強度の所望のパーセンテージに相当する荷重を用いて張力が掛けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 上記荷重は、上記コードの破断強度の少なくとも約10%に相当することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の製造方法。
- 上記ジャケット材料が実質的に非圧縮性のウレタンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 合成材料を用いて上記コードを製造するステップを含んだ請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- エレベータベルトアセンブリであって、
ストレッチされた複数のコードと、
上記ストレッチされたコード上に付与され、かつ、上記ベルトアセンブリに外部荷重を与えることなく上記コードを所望の長さだけストレッチさせた状態に保持する、ジャケットと、
を含んだエレベータベルトアセンブリ。 - 上記ベルトアセンブリの弾性伸びが限られていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のエレベータベルトアセンブリ。
- 上記コードが合成材料を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のエレベータベルトアセンブリ。
- 上記ジャケットがエーテル系のポリウレタンを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のエレベータベルトアセンブリ。
- 上記アセンブリがエレベータシステムに取り付けられたときにこのアセンブリに生ずる予測最大荷重以上の荷重に対応する長さだけ、上記コードがストレッチされていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の製造方法。
- 上記コードの破断強度の少なくとも約10%となる荷重に対応する長さだけ、上記コードがストレッチされていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の製造方法。
- (a)複数のコードを所定の位置に位置決めするステップと、
(b)所定の量だけコードに張力を掛けることにより上記コードをストレッチさせるステップと、
(c)上記ストレッチさせたコードに所定のジャケット材料を付与するステップであって、これにより、上記コードが上記ジャケット内に封入されて、上記ジャケット内で上記コードがストレッチされた状態で保持されることとなるステップと、
を含んだ製造方法により製造されたエレベータベルトアセンブリ。 - 上記コードは合成材料を含み、かつ、上記ジャケットは実質的に非圧縮性のウレタン材料を含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のエレベータベルトアセンブリ。
