Description

The present invention relates to a piezoelectric sounder.

In so-called home appliances such as a microwave oven, sound such as a buzzer sound is used as a notification means in order to notify the user of the operation state and the like. As a device for generating such sound, for example, a piezoelectric sounder using a piezoelectric element and a diaphragm as shown in Patent Document 1 has been developed.
JP-A-8-154297

When a conventional piezoelectric sounder is mounted on, for example, a circuit board inside a microwave oven body, the terminal portion of the piezoelectric sounder is fixed on the circuit board by soldering or the like. Further, in order to make the piezoelectric sounder mounted in this way self-supporting by the terminal, the terminal is formed by punching a plate material with a die so as to have strength. However, in order to avoid the disturbance of the vibration of the diaphragm by the terminal, it is necessary to form a thin connection portion of the terminal to the diaphragm. Therefore, high-precision processing is required for forming the terminal, and the productivity is not excellent.

In addition, this terminal is preliminarily tin-plated in order to increase the mountability on the substrate. However, in the case of plating a plate material, large-scale equipment is required. In particular, when lead-free solder of recent years is used, since the wettability of the solder is poor, it is necessary to plate the terminal thickly, and the plate material has a problem in productivity.

Furthermore, depending on the mounting position of the circuit board on which the piezoelectric sounder is mounted inside the main body, it may be necessary to make the entire circuit board low. Therefore, it is conceivable to reduce the height by bending the piezoelectric sounder at the terminal part, but when using a plate-shaped terminal, it is not easy to bend at the terminal part, which hinders the reduction in the height. .

Further, since the terminal is manufactured by punching a plate material with a die, there is a problem that an excess portion is generated in the plate material and the yield is deteriorated.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a piezoelectric sounder having excellent mounting performance and good yield.

In order to achieve the above object, the first invention provides a case having a recess forming portion for forming a recess, and a piezoelectric vibration having conductivity that covers the opening of the recess and defines a void in the recess forming portion. And a piezoelectric vibration element having electrodes on both sides and provided on the side of the anti-vacancy chamber of the piezoelectric vibration plate, and one electrode is in electrical contact with the piezoelectric vibration plate, and at least electrically bonded to the piezoelectric vibration plate And a second terminal electrically joined to at least the other electrode. The first terminal and the second terminal of the piezoelectric sounder are made of wire, and the first terminal and the second terminal extend outside the case and have a bent portion at a position extending outside the case. Yes. The case includes a first fixing portion that fixes the first terminal before and after the bent portion, and a second fixing portion that fixes the second terminal before and after the bent portion.

According to such a configuration, since the terminal portion is formed only with the wire, it is possible to suitably vibrate without excessively inhibiting the vibration of the diaphragm even at the contact point with the diaphragm or the like. In addition, since the terminal portion can be formed only by bending, the terminal portion can be easily manufactured as compared with molding by punching. Since it is a wire rod, an excessive force is not necessary when cutting the terminal portion, and it can be easily cut. It is also easy to bend the terminal portion. Moreover, since the surplus member which concerns on a punching process does not arise, the yield as the whole product becomes good.

In the first invention, the recess forming portion is provided on one end side of the case, and on the other end side of the case, a terminal fixing portion including a first fixing portion and a second fixing portion is provided, and the first terminal is bent. The portion and the bent portion of the second terminal may be shaped by extending from the end portion on the side opposite to the concave portion of the terminal fixing portion.

According to such a configuration, the positional relationship between the concave portion in which the diaphragm is provided and the terminal fixing portion that fixes the terminal can be suitably arranged, and the overall productivity and mountability of the piezoelectric sounder are improved. be able to.

In the first invention, the first fixing portion includes a first intermediate fixing portion for fixing the intermediate portion of the first terminal and a first end fixing portion for fixing the end portion of the first terminal, and the second fixing portion. The portion may include a second intermediate fixing portion that fixes the intermediate portion of the second terminal and a second end fixing portion that fixes the end portion of the second terminal. The intermediate portion of the first terminal is arranged in the same direction as the direction in which the first terminal extends outside the case, and the intermediate portion of the second terminal is substantially the same as the direction in which the second terminal extends outside the case. The end portion of the first terminal is arranged in a direction substantially orthogonal to the direction in which the first terminal extends out of the case, and the end portion of the second terminal extends out of the case. It may be arranged in a direction substantially orthogonal to the direction in which it is moved. Furthermore, the fixing length of the location where the first terminal of the first intermediate fixing portion is fixed is longer than the fixing length of the location where the first terminal of the first end fixing portion is fixed, and the second intermediate fixing portion The fixed length of the location where the two terminals are fixed may be longer than the fixed length of the location where the second terminal of the second end fixing portion is fixed.

According to such a configuration, after mounting the piezoelectric sounder, it is difficult to separate the terminal portion and the case at the first terminal and the second terminal, and the durability of the piezoelectric sounder can be increased.

In the first invention, at least the diaphragm, the piezoelectric vibration element, the electrode, the first terminal, and the second terminal may be arranged in the case in a direction in which the concave portion of the case is formed. .

According to such a configuration, even when the piezoelectric sounder is mounted on a substrate or the like and the case is tilted to make the entire piezoelectric sounder low in height, the portion through which the current flows in the piezoelectric sounder is arranged in the case. Contact between the location where the current flows on the substrate and the location where the current within the piezoelectric sounder flows is suppressed, and the safety and durability of the entire circuit including the piezoelectric sounder and the piezoelectric sounder can be improved.

According to the piezoelectric sounder of the present invention, the mounting property to the substrate is excellent and the height can be reduced, so that the mounting property is increased and the yield can be improved.

A piezoelectric sounder according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. A piezoelectric sounder 1 shown in FIG. 1 is used to generate a buzzer sound of a microwave oven, and includes a case 2 made of a resin material, a diaphragm 3 that is a metal plate, a piezoelectric element 4 that drives the diaphragm 3, It is mainly composed of an electrode 5 serving as a power supply location of the piezoelectric element 4 and a first terminal 6 and a second terminal 7 which are metal wires.

The case 2 has a size of about 20 mm in the long side direction, about 15 mm in the width direction, and about 7 to 8 mm in the thickness direction. As shown in FIG. 2A is provided. A step 2C is provided at a predetermined position in the recess forming portion 2A, and the inner diameter of the recess forming portion 2A is such that the bottom surface side of the recess is smaller than the step 2C and smaller than the opening side of the step 2C. Is formed. The distance from the stepped portion 2C to the edge of the recessed portion forming portion 2A is set to be larger than at least the thickness of the diaphragm 3, the piezoelectric element 4, the electrode 5, an electrode (not shown) described later, and the metal terminal 7.

In addition, a sound emitting hole 2b is formed in the bottom wall of the recess forming portion 2A on the other side in the thickness direction of the case 2 so as to be connected to a later-described empty chamber 2a.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, the diaphragm 3 is formed in a disk shape whose diameter is slightly larger than the inner peripheral surface of the step portion 2 </ b> C of the recess forming portion 2 </ b> A. The piezoelectric element 4 is formed to have a smaller diameter than the diaphragm 3, and is provided on one surface side of the diaphragm 3 so as to be substantially concentric with the diaphragm 3. Further, one electrode (not shown) and the other electrode 5 are provided on both surfaces of the piezoelectric element 4, and the electrode (not shown) and the diaphragm 3 are electrically joined. The electrode 5 is formed in a disk shape having a diameter smaller than the diameter of the piezoelectric element 4, and is provided on both surfaces of the piezoelectric element 4 so as to be substantially concentric with the piezoelectric element 4.

The diaphragm 3 provided with the piezoelectric element 4 and the electrode 5 is bonded and fixed with a silicon-based adhesive or the like to the step 2C provided in the recess forming portion 2A so as to cover the opening of the recess forming portion 2A (see FIG. 2) The vacant space 2a is defined by the recess forming portion 2A and the diaphragm 3.

In this case, the diaphragm 3 is attached to the step portion 2C so that the piezoelectric element 4 is on the opposite side of the vacant chamber 2a with respect to the diaphragm 3. Since the diaphragm 3 is a conductive metal plate, when a voltage is applied between the diaphragm 3 and the electrode 5, the piezoelectric element 4 expands and contracts, causing the diaphragm 3 to vibrate and generating a buzzer sound. .

The volume of the vacant chamber 2a is designed so that the buzzer sound emitted from the diaphragm 3 resonates to create a volume and a sound range that attracts human attention. The buzzer sound resonated in the vacant chamber 2a is mainly transmitted to the outside through the sound emission hole 2b.

The first terminal 6 is a soft copper wire having a wire diameter of about 0.8 mm, and one end thereof is electrically connected to the diaphragm 3 by soldering. The second terminal 7 is also the same annealed copper wire as the first terminal 6, and one end is electrically connected to the electrode 5. Since the first terminal 6 and the second terminal 7 have thin wire diameters, it is possible to emit a suitable buzzer sound from the diaphragm 3 without inhibiting the vibration of the diaphragm 3.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, a terminal fixing portion 2 </ b> B is provided on the other end side in the long side direction of the case 2. The terminal fixing portion 2 </ b> B includes a first fixing portion 8 that fixes the first terminal 6 and a second fixing portion 9 that fixes the second terminal 7.

As shown in FIG. 3, the first fixing portion 8 includes an end fixing portion 8 </ b> A that fixes the tip portion of the first terminal 6, and an intermediate fixing portion 8 </ b> B that fixes an intermediate portion of the first terminal 6. Yes. Similarly, the second fixing portion 9 includes an end fixing portion 9A and an intermediate fixing portion 9B that fix the tip portion and the intermediate portion of the second terminal 7, respectively.

Specifically, the intermediate portion of the first terminal 6 is fixed by the intermediate fixing portion 8 </ b> B in a state where the first terminal 6 is wired substantially parallel to the length direction of the case 2. The tip direction portion ahead of the portion fixed by the intermediate fixing portion 8B of the first terminal 6 is directed to the outside of the case 2 from the anti-recessed portion forming portion 2A side of the terminal fixing portion 2B substantially parallel to the length direction of the case 2. It has been extended. Outside of the case 2, the first terminal 6 is bent into a substantially U shape so as to have a bent portion 6A. A tip direction portion ahead of the bent portion 6 </ b> A extends toward the inside of the case 2 substantially parallel to the length direction of the case 2. And the front-end | tip part of the 1st terminal 6 is being fixed to the case 2 by the edge part fixing | fixed part 8A in the state bent and wired in the width direction of the case 2. FIG. In addition, the fixed length of the location which fixes the 1st terminal 6 of the intermediate fixing | fixed part 8B is comprised longer than the fixed length of the location which fixes the 1st terminal 6 of 8 A of edge part fixing | fixed parts. As shown in FIG. 2, the first terminals 6 are wired so as to be accommodated in the case 2 in the thickness direction of the case 2. The second terminal 7 has the same configuration as the first terminal 6 and is fixed by the end fixing portion 9A and the intermediate fixing portion 9B having the same configuration as the end fixing portion 8A and the intermediate fixing portion 8B.

In general, the force applied to the piezoelectric sounder 1 in a state where the piezoelectric sounder 1 is mounted on a substrate or the like is often borne as a tensile force applied in the length direction of the case 2. The reaction force against the tensile force is mainly borne by the first terminal 6 and the second terminal 7. However, as shown in FIG. 3, the end fixing portions 8A and 9A have the first terminal 6 and the second terminal 7 wired and fixed in the width direction substantially orthogonal to the length direction. 6. Strong against the tension in the length direction applied to the second terminal 7, and the tip of the first terminal 6 and the second terminal 7 is prevented from coming off from the end fixing portions 8A, 9A. Moreover, since the intermediate fixing | fixed part 8B is set long fixed length, it can suppress that the intermediate part of the 1st terminal 6 falls out by bending to the tensile force of a length direction.

In the piezoelectric sounder 1 configured as described above, first, the first terminal 6 and the second terminal 7 are immersed in a solder tank (not shown) in which melted solder is stored, and the solder is attached to the surface. Here, the first terminal 6 and the second terminal 7 have a thin wire diameter and good heat conduction and a small surface area. Therefore, the first terminal 6 and the second terminal 7 have good solder wettability and are suitable for the surface even if the immersion time in the solder bath is short. Solder can be attached.

Next, as shown in FIG. 4, the first terminal 6 and the second terminal 7 are fixed on the taping mount 11 with the adhesive tape 12, and the piezoelectric sounder 1 is attached to the automatic mounting machine (not shown) together with the taping mount 11. The first terminal 6 and the second terminal 7 are cut at the position of the line segment AA ′ shown in FIG.

The piezoelectric sounder 1 separated from the taping mount 11 is mounted on a substrate 20 as shown in FIG. In general, when the piezoelectric sounder 1 is mounted on the substrate 20, the piezoelectric sounder 1 is arranged so that the length direction of the piezoelectric sounder 1 is orthogonal to the plane of the substrate 20 as shown in FIG. 5. However, when the space for mounting the substrate 20 is limited, such as when the microwave oven body is small, the length of the piezoelectric sounder 1 is bent by bending the first terminal 6 and the second terminal 7 as shown in FIG. The direction may be substantially parallel to the plane of the substrate 20. The piezoelectric sounder 1 has a length of about 20 mm, and a thickness of about 7 to 8 mm. Therefore, the piezoelectric sounder 1 is bent to the shape shown in FIG. It becomes possible to make the height as low as possible. Moreover, since the bent part is a wire, it can be bent easily.

Even when the piezoelectric sounder 1 is mounted in either the vertical direction (FIG. 5) or the horizontal direction (FIG. 6) with respect to the substrate 20, the piezoelectric sounder is composed of the first terminal 6 and the second terminal 7. Since the piezoelectric sounder 1 is mounted by four wires, even if the case 2 vibrates, the piezoelectric sounder 1 is not detached from the substrate 20, and the piezoelectric sounder 1 can be suitably held on the substrate 20. .

Even when the piezoelectric sounder 1 is bent so that the surface of the case 2 on which the vibration plate 3 or the like is provided and the surface of the substrate 20 are opposed to each other, all the portions of the vibration plate 3 and the like through which current flows are present. Since it is disposed inside the case 2, a portion through which the current flows, such as the diaphragm 3, is difficult to contact with other electronic components disposed on the substrate 20, and occurrence of a short circuit or the like is suppressed.

The piezoelectric sounder according to the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications and improvements can be made within the scope described in the claims. For example, the size of the piezoelectric sounder 1 described above is not limited, and a smaller piezoelectric sounder may be used.
