また、シート状弾性部材の接合位置は、ケーシングの端部に限定されるものではなく、例えばケーシングの底部4aと吸着パッド2との間を結ぶよう設けてもよい。
また、本発明は、吸着パッドの当接部に硬質な素材を採用する場合に特に有効であるが、本発明はこれのみに限定されるものではなく、当接部に軟らかい素材を用いた場合に適用しても、シート状弾性部材により、装置の大型化を招くことなく吸着パッドの吸着面への追随性を高める効果等を得ることができるといった、従来技術にはない作用効果を奏する。

該ケーシングと前記吸着パッドとの間に張設されて、ケーシングに対して吸着パッドを支持するシート状弾性部材とを備えることを特徴とする吸着パッド装置。
