As a method of reducing malodorous components, a method of masking odor with a strong fragrance, a physical method such as adsorption with a porous adsorbent such as activated carbon, alumina, zeolite, etc., a catalytic combustion method or an oxidation method with ozone, a chemical A chemical method such as a neutralization method using bismuth, or a biochemical method such as degradation by bacteria is known.
The deodorant by the above chemical method has an effect on nitrogenous components such as ammonia and amines and sulfur components such as mercaptans and hydrogen sulfide, but is less effective for organic acids. There is a need for a deodorant having a deodorizing effect on a wide range of odor components.
Cigarette odors and garbage odors are composed of various odor components. An object of the present invention is to provide a deodorant capable of effectively removing odors containing various components such as bad odors in daily life, odors such as tobacco odor and garbage odor.
As a result of various studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventor has found that an organic acid containing a ketone group and a metal salt of glyoxylic acid (hereinafter, collectively referred to as keto acid or the like) are excellent in consumption. The present invention was completed by obtaining the knowledge that it shows an odor effect.
The present invention provides a deodorant comprising one or more components selected from metal glyoxylate and metal keto as active ingredients.
In the deodorant of the present invention, the acid component of the active ingredient is preferably one or more components selected from glyoxylic acid, pyruvic acid and levulinic acid.
The metal component of the active ingredient is preferably one or more components selected from potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and copper.
Furthermore, it is preferable to mix an amino acid nonionic surfactant and / or an amphoteric surfactant with this deodorant.
The deodorizer of the present invention has an excellent deodorizing effect not only on nitrogenous malodorous components such as ammonia and amines, but also on sulfurous malodorous components such as mercaptans and hydrogen sulfide, as well as fatty acids.
(Metal salt)
Examples of the acid component of the metal salt such as keto acid include glyoxylic acid, pyruvic acid, levulinic acid and the like.
Examples of the metal component include monovalent metals such as sodium, potassium and lithium, and divalent metals such as calcium and magnesium, and potassium and sodium are particularly preferable.
The concentration of the metal salt such as keto acid is 0.01 to 60% by weight, preferably 0.5 to 40% by weight, and more preferably 5 to 25% by weight with respect to the total amount of the deodorant. If the concentration of the metal salt such as keto acid is lower than this range, the deodorizing effect is insufficient, while if it exceeds this range, it is difficult to prepare the deodorant.
These metal salts such as keto acids may be used alone, or may be a solution in which two or more kinds are mixed, or an aqueous solution. For example, a mixture of a potassium salt, a sodium salt, a copper salt such as keto acid, and a zinc salt may be used.
When these metal salts are mixed and used, the mixing ratio is 5 to 15 parts by weight of a monovalent or divalent metal salt such as keto acid with respect to 1 part by weight of zinc ketoate (or copper ketoate). Preferably it is 8-10 weight part.
