Abstract
【解決手段】4個の気筒を備える4サイクルの圧縮着火内燃機関において、それぞれの気筒に排気管36に連通する排気マニホルド34を開閉する第1の排気バルブ32aと、EGR専用通路38a,38bを開閉する第2の排気バルブ32bとを設けると共に、4個の気筒の中の第1の気筒(例えば#1気筒)において膨張行程から排気行程にかけて第2の排気バルブ32bを開弁させる一方、第2の気筒(例えば#4気筒)において吸気行程から圧縮行程にかけて第2の排気バルブ32bを開弁させ、第1の気筒で生じた排ガスを第2の気筒に導入する排ガス導入手段(ECU24,可変動弁機構54)を備える。

Claims (2)
- 複数の気筒を備えた圧縮着火内燃機関において、それぞれの気筒に排気管に連通する通路を開閉する第1の排気バルブと、前記通路以外の第2の通路を開閉する第2の排気バルブとを設けると共に、前記複数の気筒の中の第1の気筒において膨張行程から排気行程にかけて前記第2の排気バルブを開弁させる一方、第2の気筒において吸気行程から圧縮行程にかけて前記第2の排気バルブを開弁させ、よって前記第1の気筒で生じた排ガスを前記第2の気筒に導入する排ガス導入手段を備えることを特徴とする圧縮着火内燃機関。
- 前記第2の通路が、前記第1の気筒と前記第2の気筒のみを接続する通路であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の圧縮着火内燃機関。
