【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a parking brake device that switches between braking and release by displacing the operation lever by linear motion while maintaining the posture of the operation lever.
[0002]
[Prior art]
BACKGROUND ART A parking brake device used for a vehicle such as a private car creates a braking state by pulling up an operation lever by rotational movement, and releases a braking state by operating a release rod built in the operation lever. This means that the posture of the operation lever changes in the pulling direction, and the installation position and operability of the parking brake lever are limited by such a change in the posture of the operation lever.
[0003]
Patent Literature 1 proposes an operation lever device in which an operation lever is configured by a parallel link (balanced link) in order to keep a posture of a grip, which is an operation portion of the operation lever, substantially constant. In this parking brake device, the posture of the grip is constant to the last, but the operability of raising the operation lever as a whole by rotational movement is still maintained.
[0004]
Patent Literature 2 uses a parallel link similar to that described above for a driving assist device for both accelerator and brake operation, particularly for the purpose of assisting driving of a disabled person with lower limbs. By moving it, operability has been improved. Here, the "translation" is a movement strictly following an arc trajectory having a large radius, but is referred to as a translation in the present invention as a movement in comparison with the rotational movement of a conventional parking brake device.

[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When considering the degree of freedom of installation and operability of the parking brake device, it is conceivable to combine Patent Documents 1 and 2. Specifically, the latch and the latch wheel of Patent Document 1 are applied to Patent Document 2. In the parking brake device, the state holding means for maintaining the braking state is an essential component, and the state holding means = latch and latch wheel of Patent Document 1 are applied to the configuration of Patent Document 2 having no state holding means. That is.
[0007]
Looking more closely at the state holding means disclosed in Patent Document 1, the latch wheel has a configuration in which teeth are engraved on the outer periphery of a convex arc. For this reason, each time the latch passes over the teeth of the latch wheel, the latch moves away from the latch wheel, and the latch must be moved closer to the latch wheel beyond the range of movement beyond the teeth. It will be imposed. However, if an excessive biasing force is applied to the latch, there is a problem that it is difficult to cross the teeth of the latch wheel.
[0008]
Further, in Patent Document 1, the difference between the lever for connecting the brake wire and the lever provided with the state holding means (combination of the latch wheel and the latch) is that the braking force of the brake wire and the engagement force of the state holding means are different. This means balancing via the operating knob, which is not preferred. In this regard, it is conceivable to form the state holding means on the lever connecting the brake wire, or to make the structure reverse to the above, but in the former case, the structure of the state holding means becomes more complicated, and in the latter, the brake wire becomes another. There is a risk of rubbing against the member and damaging the member, thus impairing safety.
[0009]
Basically, the utilization form of the parallel link shown in Patent Literature 2 is preferable. However, when the configuration of Patent Literature 2 is applied to a parking brake device, it is important how the state holding means is incorporated. The above considerations have made it clear. Therefore, in order to secure a degree of freedom in installation and improve operability, in order to develop a parking brake device using a parallel link, we focused on the method of incorporating the state holding means and studied.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
As a result of the examination, the product developed consists of an operating lever, a vehicle body connection, a main intermediate part and a sub intermediate part. The main intermediate part is attached to the operation lever on the main lever side axis and to the vehicle body connection part on the main vehicle side axis. The auxiliary intermediate portion is mounted on the operating lever on the auxiliary lever side shaft and on the vehicle body connecting portion on the auxiliary vehicle side shaft, respectively, and acts between the main lever side shaft and the auxiliary lever side shaft. The braking state is maintained in a parking brake device having a fixed link between the side shafts and a parallel link with the main lever side shaft and the main vehicle body side shaft and the sub lever side shaft and the sub vehicle body side shaft as intermediate nodes. The state holding means includes a ratchet having teeth inscribed on the inner periphery of the concave arc, and a pawl which can be engaged with or released from the teeth of the ratchet. Swings to the operation lever The release rod attached to the operation lever in a biased state is connected to the other end of the pole, and the other end of the pole is pulled by the bias of the release rod to engage one end of the pole with the ratchet, thereby releasing the release. This is a parking brake device that pushes the other end of the pole by operating the rod against the bias to release one end of the pole from the ratchet.
[0011]
The present invention provides a state holding means including a control lever, a vehicle body connection part, a ratchet and a pole which are separate members from the main intermediate part and the sub intermediate part, and a ratchet tooth in view of the parallel movement of the operation lever. Was engraved on the inner circumference of the concave arc. Accordingly, even when the pole (more precisely, one end of the pole, hereinafter abbreviated) crosses the teeth of the ratchet, the pole does not move away from the ratchet, and the pole can be easily approached to the ratchet. This means that only a small urging force needs to be applied to the pole, and parallel movement of the operating lever with less resistance is realized.
[0012]
Further, the state holding means of the present invention exerts a state holding function by the main intermediate portion to which the ratchet is fixed. Therefore, by connecting the brake wire to the main intermediate portion, the braking force of the brake wire and the engaging force of the state holding means can be balanced on the main intermediate portion. Here, if the ratchet is fixed on the surface of the main intermediate portion, the main intermediate portion necessarily becomes a large plate material. Thus, the main intermediate portion is easily provided with ribs or the like to increase rigidity, and the balance of the force can be borne by such a rigid main intermediate portion. When the brake wire is connected to the main intermediate portion on the side opposite to the ratchet across the main vehicle body side shaft, the brake wire does not rub against other members during the rotation of the main intermediate portion. At this time, if the distance between the engagement position of the pawl and the ratchet to the distance from the main vehicle body side shaft is larger than the distance from the connection position of the brake wire to the main vehicle body side shaft, the force required for operating the operation lever is small due to the relationship of the moment. As a result, operability is improved.
[0013]
For the purpose of further increasing the degree of freedom of installation and improving the operability, the main intermediate portion of the parking brake device of the present invention is provided with return biasing means for applying a biasing force in the direction in which the brake wire is pulled. Thus, when the operating lever is moved in parallel back and forth or from top to bottom, the operating lever can be returned to the initial state by the return biasing unit even if the pulling by the brake wire disappears. This not only increases the degree of freedom of installation as a parking brake device, but also improves the operability to smoothly promote the return to the initial state.
[0014]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an installation example of a parking brake device 1 to which the present invention is applied, FIG. 2 is a side view of the parking brake device 1, FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the parking brake device 1, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view corresponding to FIG. 1 of the parking brake device 1 in which the parking brake device 1 is pulled toward the braking state, FIG. 5 is a side view corresponding to FIG. 2 of the parking brake device 1 in the braking state, and FIG. FIG. 3 is a side view corresponding to FIG. 2 of FIG.
[0015]
The parking brake device 1 of the present invention aims to increase the degree of freedom of installation, and can be used, for example, in a mode in which it is provided on a dashboard 3 of an automobile as shown in FIG. If the conventional parking brake device that operates the operation lever by rotating motion is provided on the same dashboard as in this example, the operation lever is pulled down toward the front or pulled up from the back to the front, resulting in poor operability. Thus, it can be seen that the present invention has a suitable device configuration as the parking brake device 1 provided on the dashboard 3.
[0016]
In the parking brake device 1 of the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the operation lever 2, the vehicle body connection portion 4, the main intermediate portion 5, and the sub intermediate portion 6, which form the parallel link, are each formed of a plate-like member. Then, the vehicle body connecting portion 4 is sandwiched between the pair of operating levers 2 and 2 and the pair of main mediating portions 5 and 5 and the sub mediating portions 6 and 6, and the assembling pins 7 penetrating the respective portions are caulked at once and assembled. (Stacked). Since the main intermediate portion 5 and the sub intermediate portion 6 constituting the intermediate node are two in a pair, the parallel link in the parking brake device 1 of the present invention is stable and smooth without being twisted by an external load. Can exercise.
[0017]
The operation lever 2 has a release rod 10 extending from a release button 9 protruding from the operation knob 8 inserted therein, and is connected to the other end of a pole 12 swingably mounted on a fan-shaped operation base 11 following the operation knob 8. are doing. The release rod 10 is provided at an intermediate portion in order to stably realize relative rotation with respect to the main intermediate portion 5 caused by the parallel movement of the operation lever 2 and parallel displacement caused by pressing the release button 9. It is fitted to the swing projection 32 of the operation base 11 via the long hole 13. In addition, the operation base 11 is provided with a main lever side shaft 14 and a sub lever side shaft 15. At the time of actual installation, the decorative cover 16 is provided so as to cover the operation base 11 of the operation lever 2 so that the inside is not exposed.
[0018]
The vehicle body connection part 4 is provided with a main vehicle body side shaft 17 and a sub vehicle body side shaft 18 on which the main intermediate part 5 and the sub intermediate part 6 are attached, and a contact sensor 19 with which the main intermediate part 5 comes into contact in an initial state is attached. ing. The abutment sensor 19 detects a non-braking state when the switch is turned on when the main intermediary unit 5 comes into contact, and detects a braking state when the main intermediary unit 5 is separated by the parallel movement of the operation lever 2 and is turned off. I do. The parking brake device 1 of the present invention has a module configuration that can be attached to a vehicle via the vehicle body connection portion 4.
[0019]
The main mediating portion 5 is a substantially fan-shaped plate-like member having a ratchet 21 having teeth 20 engraved on the inner circumference of the concave arc fixed thereto, and the main lever side shaft 14 of the operation lever 2 and the main vehicle body side shaft 17 of the vehicle body connecting portion 4. And form a medial node by being attached to each other. The main intermediate portion 5 of the present example has a flange 22 formed on the periphery to improve structural strength. The brake wire 23 is connected to a wire connecting portion 24 protruding on the opposite side of the ratchet 21 across the main vehicle body side shaft 17. The distance between the position at which the pawl 12 and the ratchet 21 are engaged and the distance between the main body side shaft 17 is greater than the distance between the wire connection portion 24 and the main body side shaft 17, and the force required for operating the operation lever 2 is reduced. Has been improved.
[0020]
In the present embodiment, the return biasing means of the main mediating portion 5 is constituted by a coil spring 25 externally fitted to the main vehicle body side shaft 17. Specifically, one leg 26 of the coil spring 25 is engaged with the peripheral edge 27 of the vehicle body connection portion, and the other leg 28 is engaged with the cut-and-raised portion 29 of the main intermediate portion 5. The operation lever 2 is constantly biased by the coil spring 25 in the direction of returning to the initial position, and can return to the initial position even if the brake wire 23 is broken.
[0021]
The sub-mediating portion 6 is a plate-like member curved in a substantially U-shape, and similarly to the main mediating portion 5, a flange 30 is formed on the periphery to increase the structural strength. The auxiliary intermediate portion 6 is a member attached to the main intermediate portion 5 to form a parallel link as a whole, and is provided between the auxiliary lever side shaft 15 of the operation lever 2 and the auxiliary vehicle side shaft 18 of the vehicle body connection portion 4. They simply attach to each other to form a medial node. However, the curved structure and the formation of the flange 30 exhibit high structural strength, and have a function of assisting the stable operation of the parallel link.
[0022]
The parking brake device 1 of the present example operates as follows. First, when the operating lever 2 is pulled forward from the initial state of FIGS. 1 and 2, the operating lever 2 slightly moves down and moves parallel to the whole as a whole, to the braking state shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. Become. Here, as can be seen by comparing FIGS. 1 and 4, the operation lever 2 that translates toward the front is housed in the brake box 31 provided on the dashboard 3 in the initial state and does not become an obstacle, and in the braking state. There is an advantage that the presence or absence of braking can be visually confirmed by projecting toward the front. The braking state can also be confirmed by turning on a lamp (not shown) using the contact sensor 19.
[0023]
The transition from the initial state to the braking state is only the parallel movement of the operation lever 2 externally, but internally the main intermediary portion 5 and the sub-intermediate portion 6 are maintained in a parallel relationship while maintaining the parallel relationship (in FIG. The robot makes a turning motion from the left (left direction) to the front (right direction in FIG. 5). The pawl 12 pivotally mounted on the operating base 11 of the operating lever 2 changes its relative position with the ratchet 21 with the turning movement of the main intermediate portion 5, so that the engaging position of the pawl 12 moves over the teeth 20 of the ratchet 21. Displace it. However, since the pawl 12 is pivotally attached to the operation base 11 in a positional relationship of engaging one end with the ratchet 21, the engagement with the ratchet 21 is not released. In this way, the turning movement of the main mediator 5 pulls the brake wire 23 to create a braking state, and the braking state is maintained by the engagement of the pawl 12 and the ratchet 21.
[0024]
The transition from the braking state to the release state is performed by pressing the release button 9 as in the conventional parking brake device. Then, as shown in FIG. 6, the release rod 10 that has moved in parallel swings the pole 12, thereby releasing the engagement with the ratchet 21. As a result, the main intermediate portion 5 where the pulling of the brake wire 23 and the bias of the coil spring 25 are left turns in the opposite direction and returns to the initial state. Since the operating lever 2 is axially attached to the main mediating portion 5, when the main mediating portion 5 returns, the operating lever 2 naturally moves from the near side to the back side and returns to the initial position (see FIG. 1). As described above, the parking brake device 1 of the present invention has an advantage that the operation itself of the operation lever 2 is almost the same as that of the related art, and can be operated without feeling uncomfortable.
[0025]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention has an effect of providing a parking brake device that has a high degree of freedom in installation and has improved operability. The high degree of freedom of installation is provided by the operation lever that moves in parallel and the return biasing means that is provided in the main mediator, and the operability can be improved even if it is installed on the dashboard (front) or ceiling (upper surface), which was not possible in the past. A parking brake device that does not impair can be provided. Further, as compared with the conventional parking brake device using the same kind of parallel link, the engagement of the pawl and the ratchet constituting the state holding means is more stable, and the reliability of the braking and releasing operations is increased. As described above, the present invention can provide superior operability as compared with the conventional parking brake device in which the operation lever moves in parallel, as well as the conventional parking brake device in which the operation lever moves in parallel.
