この発明は、バリヤ性樹脂容器及び該容器に収納される化粧品組成物に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、酸素透過や匂いに対するバリヤ性の良好な樹脂積層容器としては、エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体樹脂(EVOH)を中間に配置したPE/EVOH/PE積層容器が一般に使用されており、例えば特開2002−370756号公報等に開示されている。又、アルミ箔や無機物質を蒸着したフィルムを積層せる酸素非透過性の材質で形成したものも公知であり、例えば特開2002−361776号公報等に開示されている。

特開2002−370756号公報に開示されたものは、ガスバリヤ性樹脂シートを筒状に巻回して両端部の張合せ部を接着する接着剤をガスバリヤ性樹脂材料したことを特徴とするものである。又、特開2002−361776号公報に開示されたものは、表面樹脂層、中間層及び内面樹脂層を積層してなり、中間層を無機酸化物の蒸着膜とガスバリヤ性塗布膜を含むバリヤ層で構成したことを特徴とするものである。

しかしながら、EVOHを使用した酸素非透過性樹脂容器は、EVOHの分子構造上湿度が高くなると樹脂のバリヤ性が低下する問題を有している。水分透過性の小さいポリエチレン(PE)と積層しても、高湿度下に保管されると内容物の防腐剤などの成分が低下してくるおそれがあった。又、アルミ積層チューブのような容器にあっては、そのような問題は生じないが、容器のコストが高いと共に不透明であるため外観の意匠性向上に問題があった。

この発明の好ましい実施の形態を、以下に詳細に説明する。この発明にかかる樹脂容器は、高湿度下においても高いガスバリヤ性を有するポリブチレンテレフタレート(PBT)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、ポリエチレンナフタレート(PEN)等のポリエステル系樹脂層を含む積層樹脂シートからなることを特徴とする。又、ポリブチレンテレフタレート(PBT)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、ポリエチレンナフタレート(PEN)等のポリエステル系樹脂層を含む積層樹脂シートからなる樹脂容器に収納され、配合されたフェノキシエタノールの揮散を前記ポリエステル系樹脂層で防止するようにした化粧品組成物を特徴とする。

ポリブチレンテレフタレート(PBT)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、ポリエチレンナフタレート(PEN)等のポリエステル系樹脂層の厚みは特の限定されない。尚、PBTを使用する場合、ブロー成形で形成されるボトル又はチューブ容器では積層位置は特に限定されないが、チューブ容器を筒状に巻回し端部を熱融着して成形する場合、熱融着し難いPBTは外層ではなく中間層に配置するのが好ましい。

樹脂容器を構成するために、前記ポリエステル系樹脂層と積層される樹脂としては、例えばポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリエステル、ポリエチレンアクリルアクリレート、アイオノマー、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体等を使用することが出来る。又、筒状に巻回し端部を融着するチューブ容器にあっては、胴部張合せ部を接合するガスバリヤ性の溶着素材として、ポリビニルアルコール−ポリエチレン共重合体、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリアミド、ポリエステル、ポリアクリロニトリル若しくはこれらを含有する樹脂、又は酸化鉄などの酸素吸収素材を含有したポリビニルアルコール−ポリエチレン共重合体、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリアミド、ポリエステル、ポリアクリロニトリル若しくはこれらを含有する樹脂又はポリエチレンがある。

化粧品組成物は、防腐剤としてフェノキシエタノールが配合された化粧水、乳液等の化粧品である。フェノキシエタノールは、高温、高湿度下に保管されると揮散してくる性質を有し、フェノキシエタノールの配合率が低下し防腐性が減少するため、化粧品の品質低下をもたらすおそれがある。本発明は、かかるフェノキシエタノールを配合した化粧品組成物と、高湿度下において高いガスバリヤ性を有するポリブチレンテレフタレート(PBT)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、ポリエチレンナフタレート(PEN)等のポリエステル系樹脂層を含む積層樹脂シートからなる樹脂容器とを組合せ、高温、高湿度下においてもポリブチレンテレフタレート(PBT)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、ポリエチレンナフタレート(PEN)等のポリエステル系樹脂層の良好なガスバリヤ性により、フェノキシエタノールの揮散を効果的に防止し、品質を安定に保持し得る化粧品組成物を提供する。

図1を参照して、チューブ容器の形態に構成された樹脂容器であり、外層(1)、中間層(2)及び内層(3)の樹脂積層体からなり、外層(1)及び内層(3)は低密度ポリエチレンで形成し、中間層(2)をPBTで形成した。外層(1)の厚みは100μ、中間層(2)は50μ、内層(3)は300μとした。このチューブ容器に、表1の組成からなる化粧水と、表2の組成からなる乳液を収納し、40℃湿度75%の環境下で1ヶ月保管しフェノキシエタノールの残存率を測定した。比較のために、従来のEVOHを積層したチューブ容器、アルミ積層チューブ容器、低密度ポリエチレンチューブ容器、高密度ポリエチレンチューブ容器について測定した。結果を表3に示す。尚、内容物の充填量は30gである。PBT積層樹脂チューブのフェノキシエタノールの残存率は良好な結果を示し、高温、高湿度の環境下における保管において、内容物の変質を防止することが出来た。

【発明の効果】
この発明によれば、高温高湿度下において高バリヤ性を発揮し、フェノキシエタノールの揮散を防止することが出来る高バリヤ性樹脂容器を提供することが出来、又、高温高湿度下において長期に亘って安定した品質を維持できるフェノキシエタノールを配合した化粧品組成物を提供することが出来る。
