近年、機器の操作においては、押釦を介してスイッチを押圧操作するプッシュ方式が広く使用されているが、特に自動車の車室照明用等の、押釦の形状が比較的大きなものにおいては、押圧操作によってスイッチの電気的接離状態は切換わるが、押釦は常に操作前の状態に戻るように構成されたものが多く用いられている。
