従来品の金管楽器用ミュートの底部に楽器内部の定在波に影響を与えない大きさの連通孔を設け、その連通孔から、音響変更器内外両方向に向かう金管楽器のベル状の突出部を備える構造で実現した。

図1は、本発明である音響変更器の実施例1の断面図である。1は胴、2は底、3はインナーベル、4はアウターベル、5は連通孔、6は金管楽器のベル、7はパッキンである。また、図2および図3においても、同番号は同様な部品を示すものである。

以上説明したように本発明の金管楽器音響変更器は、従来の音色変更を目的とした音色変更器の音色に、金属的な音を含ませることが可能になるため、多様な音色の変化を実現できるものである。この結果、音の多様化を求める音楽そのものに、積極的に有効である。一方、消音を目的とした消音器においては、それ自体、外部に漏れ出る音が極少であるため、金属的な音だけを、外界に大音量で放射させることが可能になる。特に、この新しくて衝撃的な音色は、万人を驚かせるに十分な音であるため、将来の音楽に活かされる可能性が、非常に大である。
