しかし、上述した従来例において、旋回構造物1の旋回角度は支持装置9に予め形成されるガイド溝5により決定されるために、例えば、旋回範囲に壁面10等が干渉する場合には、干渉の発生しない範囲内に旋回構造物1の旋回角度を規制するようにガイド溝5を設計した支持装置9を別途用意する必要があり、汎用性に欠けるという問題がある。

支持装置9に装着された旋回構造物1は、旋回軸2とガイド軸4とが軸支持部3、およびガイド溝5に挿入されて旋回軸2周りに回転自在であり、ガイド溝5内でのガイド軸4の移動範囲によって旋回角度が規制される。

図1にパソコンのディスプレイ装置(旋回構造物1)を壁面8に支持するための支持装置9を示す。ディスプレイ装置1は、液晶表示装置等により形成される表示部1aと、適数個の関節1b周りに屈曲操作自在な屈曲アーム1cとからなり、屈曲アーム1cの先端には、旋回軸2とガイド軸4が突設される。

支持装置9は、ボックス形状をなす主体部9aと、主体部9aに着脱自在な閉塞板(溝閉塞部材7)とを有する。主体部9aは側壁部に形成される図外の固定部において壁面8に固定可能であり、主体部9aの上面に上記旋回軸2を支承する軸支持部3が形成される。軸支持部3はディスプレイ装置1側の旋回軸2を脱離不能、かつ、回転自在に挿通する単なる筒状体としても、あるいは、旋回軸2を連結、固定可能な回転軸としても形成できる。

また、主体部9aの上面にはガイド軸4が嵌合可能なガイド溝5が形成される。ガイド溝5は、図2(a)に示すように、旋回軸2の回転に伴うガイド軸4の移動を許容するように、軸支持部3と同心の円弧形状をなす。

さらに、上記ガイド溝5に沿って複数の閉塞板取付孔(閉塞部材取付部6)が形成される。閉塞板取付孔6は、ガイド溝5を所定ピッチ角度pで等分するピッチ線上において、ガイド溝5の内外方向に各々1個ずつ形成される。

一方、閉塞板7は、図2(b)に示すように、上記ガイド溝5と同一曲率の円弧形状により形成され、一端が閉塞されたガイド軸通過切欠7aと、ガイド軸通過切欠7aに沿って形成される取付孔7bとを有する板状体で、図2(a)に示すように、取付孔7bを主体部9aの閉塞板取付孔6に合致させた状態でガイド軸通過切欠7aはガイド溝5に合致する。

この閉塞板7の主体部9aへの固定は、種々の方法によることが可能であるが、例えば、図3(b)に示すように、合成樹脂製のリベット11を閉塞板取付孔6に圧入したり、あるいは、ねじ止めする方法によることができる。

したがってこの実施の形態において、出荷時においては、図2(a)に示すように、閉塞板7をガイド溝5を閉塞しない終端位置に装着しておき、ディスプレイ装置1を設置した状態で、壁面等との当たりが発生する場合には、図4に示すように、一旦閉塞板7を取り外した後、適宜の位置に閉塞板7を固定し直すことによって、旋回角度をθからθ’に規制し、壁面等との当たりを簡単に防止できる。

図5に本発明の他の実施の形態を示す。この実施の形態において、溝閉塞部材7は合成樹脂材により形成され、図5(a)〜(d)に示すように、上方に摘み部7cが突設された円板状の閉塞プレート部7dを有する。一方、ガイド溝5には所定ピッチで閉塞部材取付部6となる拡径部が形成され、閉塞プレート部7dは、拡径部6の径より大径に形成される。また、閉塞プレート部7dの裏面には、長軸寸法が上記拡径部6の直径よりやや長寸のストッパ長円部7eが形成され、該ストッパ長円部7eの裏面にさらに長円形状の底壁ストッパ7fが設けられる。

ストッパ長円部7eの厚さ(h)は、主体部9aの天井部の肉厚にほぼ等しく、まず、図5(e)において、矢印Aで示すように、底壁ストッパ7fをガイド溝5に挿通させた後、摘み部7cを水平回転させると、図5(e)において矢印Bで示すように、ストッパ長円部7eが撓みながらガイド溝5の拡径部6に嵌合し、当該回転姿勢を維持する。この状態において、溝閉塞部材7は底壁ストッパ7fと閉塞プレート部7dにより主体部9aの天井部を挟み付けることからガイド溝5から脱落することがなくなり、この結果、ガイド軸4の移動範囲を規制する干渉体として機能する。

なお、以上においては、1個の溝閉塞部材7を使用することにより、予め決定されたガイド溝5の一方の終端から溝閉塞部材7が装着される範囲までを旋回角度として規制する場合を示したが、2個の溝閉塞部材7を使用すると、両側の旋回終端を自由に決定することが可能になる。

以上の説明から明らかなように、本発明によれば、旋回構造物の旋回角度を自由に設定することのできるので、汎用性を向上させることができる。
