2. Description of the Related Art While research is being conducted on treatment of diseases such as gingivitis and periodontitis, preservation of teeth, prevention of dental diseases, a bath method, a flossing method, a method combining them, and a massage method by hand or the like. , Etc. are actively studied and clinically tested. Journal of Oral Hygiene Journal of D
mental Health 47, 158-163 (1
977) that gingivitis and periodontitis can be prevented and treated by brushing. It is said that this is due to two effects: removal of plaque bacteria by brushing, mechanical massage of the gingiva, promotion of keratinization of the gingival epithelium, and increased gingival resistance. Has been done. Also,
Although the bath method is widely used as a cleaning method for patients with periodontal disease, dental floss is used as an auxiliary cleaning tool for cleaning the interdental part where it is difficult to remove plaque. On the other hand, we developed a unique cleaning method called the "toothpick method",
When this is used in combination with the bass method and flossing method,
Comparing the effects on periodontitis, especially the massage effect, the toothpick method is clinically and cytologically superior to the case of using the bath method and the flossing method together. Such points have been announced.

In any case, tooth brushing is a very tiring work because it requires a long period of time for each treatment. Among them, the "toothpick method" applies a wide brush surface to the teeth in a row and presses the whole, so that each of the bristles that make up the brush surface hits the tooth surface and is pushed and bent so that it enters all the way between the teeth. Since the work to be performed is repeatedly performed by the piston movement, it is a difficult work that requires a strong force.

On the other hand, there is provided an electric toothbrush that automatically reciprocates the toothbrush in parallel to the surface where the bristles are lined up. This is suitable for the bass method regardless of whether the brush surface is moved in the longitudinal direction of the tooth or in the direction perpendicular to the tooth.

Further, Japanese Patent Publication No. 60-26535 and Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-322823 disclose automatic advance / retreat toothbrushes for advancing / retreating in the longitudinal direction of the bristles using a brush or a bristles bundle. In such toothbrushes, the bristles automatically advance and retreat in the longitudinal direction, so the bristles bundles often penetrate not only between the teeth but also in the gingival sulcus around the roots of the teeth to poke and remove plaque and foreign matter in the details. You can massage.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, the "toothpick method" is difficult to learn because it is difficult to work, and it is difficult to last long. An electric toothbrush that reciprocates a toothbrush in parallel to the brush surface is not suitable for the “toothpick method”. Tokusho Sho 6
The one disclosed in the publication 0-26535 reciprocates the toothbrush in the longitudinal direction of the bristles, but since the toothbrush is of the type that forms a wide brush surface, the resistance to insert it between the teeth is high. Large electric reciprocating movement is impossible. Even if the pushing force is strengthened and forced into the space between the teeth, the reaction force is large and it is difficult to push because it is tired to resist it. In the one disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-322823, since the bristle bundle is advanced and retracted in the longitudinal direction, it can be easily and repeatedly entered into the periodontal groove and between the teeth, and it is easy to give stimulation by a pinpoint beat action. , "Toothpick method" can be automated and the difficulty of the work can be solved, but the massage effect is still weak because the action area is very small, and it exerts a cleaning action and a massage action on the entire necessary area between the teeth and gums. It is difficult and takes time to work.

In such a structure, the bristle bundle is driven forward and backward in the longitudinal direction by the drive mechanism at the tip of the main body portion, so that the body portion is gripped by the grip and the bristle bundle portion at the tip of the main body portion is placed in the oral cavity. When you put it on the teeth, gums, spaces between teeth, and periodontal groove, the tips of the hairs that move forward and backward repeatedly touch or enter,
Cleaning by the so-called "toothpick method" can be performed automatically at high speed. In this case, unlike the conventional method in which the brush surface is pressed slowly, the abutting in this case is to automatically perform high-speed stimulating massage by the beat action according to the bundling form and its size. The effect of massaging one bristle bundle is higher than that of the method. In particular, when the tips of the bristles are arranged almost in a single horizontal line, there is a wider range of tips of the bristles and the bristles of the bristles are wider than in the case of the conventional bristle bundle, without the attenuation of irritation when the tips of the bristles form a surface. Since it is possible to increase the number of brushes, it is easier to exert a stronger cleaning action with a wider action width corresponding to the width of the tips on the spaces between teeth, gums, periodontal groove, etc. compared to the conventional bristles, so it is easier to remove plaque etc. In addition, the massage effect, beat effect, and work efficiency are improved, and effective cleaning including the "toothpick method" is efficiently and easily achieved in a short time.

The automatic advancing / retreating toothbrush according to the present invention also includes a bristles bundle, a main body part or a whole of which grips, and is provided in the main body part to be connected to or opposed to the bristles bundle. The bristle bundle has a thickness of 0.1 to 0.
Another feature is that bristles having a diameter of about 3 mm are made to advance in a bundle shape of a substantially circular or elliptical shape having a diameter of 1 to 5 mm.

In such a structure, the elasticity of each of the bristles is taken advantage of and the appropriate elasticity is obtained.
The smaller the diameter is about 2.5 mm, the more effective it is to clean plaque and other plaque in narrow spaces such as periodontal pockets and teeth. , The larger the diameter is in the range of 3.5 to 5 mm, the larger the brush surface becomes, and the larger the range in which the beat effect can be exerted at the same time without the beat effect being reduced, thereby improving the beat efficiency and working time. Can be shortened.

In a further arrangement, the bristle tufts are advanced and retracted with their bristle tips positioned at a right angle or inclined to the axis of the body, in a further arrangement the bristle tufts in the axial tip of the body are generally of the body. It is taken in and out in the oral cavity in the axial direction, but depending on the direction and position of the axis, the bristles bundle inserted in the oral cavity can be positioned at any position on the outer side and the inner side of the gums and the tooth arrangement. Depending on the right angle or inclined direction of the bristles bundle with respect to the axis of the main body part, the tips can be directed almost upright to the inner and outer surfaces of each tooth, the inner and outer surfaces of the gums, the periodontal groove, and the interdental tooth, and the effective beat The brushing action of the method can be applied to the tooth, gums, periodontal groove, and any portion between the teeth almost evenly.

In a further configuration in which the bristle bundle is guided by a hollow guide portion extending from the main body portion so that the bristle tips have a predetermined bundle shape and is moved back and forth, in a further configuration, the bristle bundle itself connected to the drive mechanism. If it is a bundle of necessary volume, it will be advanced and retracted by the guide of the hollow guide so that the hair tips will be in a shape of approximately one horizontal letter, or will be restrained so that it will be a required bundle shape, so it can be planted or molded in a predetermined shape. There is no need to do it, which helps reduce the cost of the bristles. Moreover, even if the tip of the bristles is thinly spread out in the shape of a single horizontal letter or the diameter is reduced to about 1 to 2.5 mm, the guidance of the hollow guide prevents the waist from becoming weak, and especially the waist. Even if it is not strong bristles, the beat effect will not be impaired.

In a further structure in which the main body portion is provided with a liquid supply passage for supplying the cleaning liquid to the hollow guide portion, the cleaning liquid can be directly supplied to the portion where the bristles are working, so that cleaning can be performed with a small amount of cleaning liquid. The drive shaft is reciprocally swung about a swinging fulcrum of the main body, and has a bending portion that orients the bristles bundle in a direction in which the longitudinal direction is substantially the same as the swinging direction. In a further configuration, since the drive shaft extending from the main body directly supports the bristles and advances and retracts in the longitudinal direction, the structure is low,
Depending on the direction and position of the axis of the main body and the drive shaft, it is easier to position the bristles bundle inserted in the oral cavity at any position outside and inside the gums and the row of teeth. The right or slanted orientation of the bundle makes it easier to orient the tips of the bristles approximately upright against the inner and outer surfaces of each tooth, the inner and outer surfaces of the gums, the periodontal groove, and the spaces between the teeth.

The bristle bundle is detachably connected to the advancing / retreating motion section of the drive mechanism. In a further configuration, the bristle bundle can be moved back and forth up to about 10,000 times per minute as needed, Although it wears relatively early, it can be used while being replaced with a new one by the attachment and detachment. However, even a bristle bundle with concentrated bristles at one point has the advantage that it can be easily made to act intensively on the details, such as the periodontal groove and the gap between teeth, so the attachment / detachment structure for different bristle bundles and drive mechanism is common. It is also possible to selectively use these different types of bristles.

An elastic member made of a spring, rubber, or resin is interposed in the advancing / retreating motion transmission system between the advancing / retreating motion part of the drive mechanism and the bristles. In a further configuration, the elastic member is adapted to its type. Since the forward movement of the drive mechanism side is transmitted to the bristle bundle side by its elastic characteristics, it does not substantially affect the forward movement speed of the bristle bundle, but it softens the impact when it comes into contact with the teeth or gums, so it reciprocates. It is possible to increase the operating speed, cycle, and stroke to prevent excessive stimulation while obtaining sufficient cleaning and beat effects, and it is possible to prevent the bristle bundles from being unnecessarily worn.

In this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 10, a bristle bundle 11 and a main body 2 which partially or wholly forms a grip 1, and a bristles bundle 1 provided in the main body 2
1 and a drive mechanism 8 for automatically driving the bristle bundle 11 forward and backward in the longitudinal direction at the tip of the body portion 2.
In No. 1, at least the bristle tips 11c are arranged so as to line up in the form of a substantially horizontal character. In this way, the bristle bundle 1
Since 1 is driven forward and backward in the longitudinal direction by the drive mechanism 8 at the tip of the main body 2, the main body 2 is gripped by the grip 1 and the portion of the bristle bundle 11 at the tip of the main body 2 is put in the oral cavity. As shown by arrows in FIG. 11, teeth 201, gums 202, interdental 2
03, when applied to the periodontal groove 204, the bristles 11c that are advanced and retracted in the direction A repeatedly strike or enter, and the brush surface is pressed slowly. The exciting massage can be automatically performed at high speed. In particular, the tip 11c
Are arranged in a bundle form of approximately one horizontal letter, and the array area of the tips 11c is wider and the number of bristles 11b is larger than that in the case of the conventional bristle bundle without attenuation of irritation in the case where the tips form a surface. Since it can be increased, it is easy to exert a stronger brushing action with a wide action width corresponding to the width of the tips of the teeth 203, gums 202, periodontal groove 204, etc., as compared with the conventional bristle bundle, so a massage effect or a beat effect, In addition, the work efficiency is improved, and effective cleaning including the “toothpick method” is efficiently and easily achieved in a short time.

In particular, in the example shown in FIGS. 1 to 6, the bristle bundle 11
Is guided by the hollow guide portion 104 extending from the main body portion 2 so that the bristle tip 11c is formed into a shape of substantially one horizontal letter and is moved back and forth. As a result, if the bristles 11 themselves connected to the drive mechanism 8 have a necessary volume, the bristle tips 11c are guided by the hollow guide portion 104 so that the bristle tips 11c are formed in a single horizontal line.
~ As shown in Fig. 4 and changed to 90 ° in Fig. 5 to Fig. 8 to be expanded and retracted in a fan shape as shown by an imaginary line, there is no need to plant or mold into a predetermined form, and the bristles Useful for reducing the cost of the bundle 11. In addition, the bristle bundle 11 is thinly spread out in a shape of one letter in a horizontal direction, but the guide of the hollow guide portion 104 prevents weakening of the waist, and the beat effect is impaired even if the bristle is not particularly strong. Never.

The bristles 11 have a set of bristles 11b protruding from the base 11a, and the forward / backward movement part 23 of the drive mechanism 8 is described.
On the other hand, the base 11a is magnetically coupled in the advancing / retreating direction A by the magnetic attraction of the magnetic coupler 25 so as to be detachably connected. As described above, when the bristles bundle 11 is connected to the drive mechanism 8 by magnetic attraction by the magnetic coupler 25, the magnetic attraction force can be obtained by bending or twisting both sides of the magnetic coupler 25 as a boundary. The bristle bundle 11 can be easily replaced even if the bristle bundle 11 is worn, which is convenient for repeated use over a long period of time because it can be easily overcome and separated to release the connection. On the other hand, the magnetic coupling of the magnetic coupler 25 is oriented in the advancing / retreating direction A of the bristle bundle 11 so that the separating force due to inertia when the bristle bundle 11 is driven back and forth is most likely to be resisted. 1
Due to the small mass on the one side and the small inertial force from the driving side, the connection cannot be disconnected even by the forward / backward driving of about 10,000 times per minute. Therefore, the bristle bundle 11 is
It is possible to surely and effectively work on the teeth, the interdental spaces, the gums, the gingival sulcus, etc., which are advanced and retracted in the longitudinal direction at the tip of the position, and are gripped and pressed by the grip 1 of the main body 2.

However, connection and attachment / detachment are not essential, and the bristle bundle 11 may be an attachment / detachment portion that is attached / detached to / from the advancing / retreating operation portion 23 of the drive mechanism 8. As described above, the bristles 11 can be moved up and down about 10,000 times a minute as required and can be operated, and they will wear relatively quickly, so if you can attach and detach them, continue to use the body 2 while replacing them with new ones. To be However, the previously proposed bristle bundle having a concentrated bristle tip at one point has the advantage that it is easy to intensively act on the detail portion such as the periodontal groove 204 and the interdental 203 with a small gap. The attachment / detachment structure of the bundle 11 and the drive mechanism 8 is common, and the bristles bundle 11 of different types
You can use differently.

The structure which is not connected is, for example, in the example shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the connecting structure between the bristles 11 and the driving mechanism 8 is omitted and the bristles 11 are urged toward the driving mechanism 8 by a spring or the like. Alternatively, the forward / backward movement unit 23 may be repeatedly responsive directly or via an elastic body such as a spring, rubber or resin. This eliminates the need for a connection structure and facilitates cleaning and replacement of the bristles 11.

In this example as described above, the grip 1 holds the main body 2, and the tip 12 of the hollow guide portion 104 extending to one end side of the main body 2 is inserted into the oral cavity to remove teeth and gums. The tip portion 12 of the hollow guide portion 104 is provided at every portion.
The bristles 11b that move in and out can be applied to brush and massage teeth. A cleaning liquid tank 4 for storing the cleaning liquid 3 necessary for brushing and massaging the main body 2, a pump 5 for manually discharging the cleaning liquid 3 in the cleaning liquid tank 4, a battery chamber 6, and the battery chamber 6 are mounted. Since it is equipped with all of the drive mechanism 8 that operates by the power supply from the battery 7, it is smaller and more handy than a conventional one that can be used only when connected to a stationary body. It's easy to do.

Moreover, the cleaning liquid 3 may be used in a discharged state at a flow rate as needed by operating the pump 5 as needed, and the cleaning liquid 3 is also used for brushing or massaging the bristles 11 by reciprocating motion. However, since the cleaning liquid 3 needs to be supplementarily supplied to the extent that the cleaning is satisfied, for example, to the extent that the cleaning liquid 3 is dropped, the required amount of the cleaning liquid 3 is significantly smaller than that of the conventional one using the pulsating flow of water, The cleaning solution 3 in the small cleaning solution tank 4 provided in the small body 2 can sufficiently complete one brushing and massaging, and even when a chemical solution other than water is used for the cleaning solution 3, it is not too expensive. According to the experiments by the present inventors, the cleaning liquid 3 may be supplied at about 2 drops per second, and the cleaning liquid 3 of 50 cc can be continuously used for 5 times.
It was possible to wash for a minute, and it was possible to achieve a sufficient brushing effect.

Further, in this example, as shown in FIG. 2A, the tip portion 12 of the hollow guide portion 104 is inclined so as to be inclined approximately 120 ° with respect to the axis of the main body portion 2 through the curved portion 12b. It is bent from the 12a side. This 120
Due to the inclination of °, the distal end portion 12 of the hollow guide portion 104 is positioned at any portion around the teeth in the oral cavity while holding the main body portion 2 in the posture in which the hollow guide portion 104 is directed upward. Since the bristles 11 are longitudinally opposed to each other in the circumferential groove 204 or the deepened pocket, it is not necessary to complicatedly operate the orientation of the main body 2 to clean or massage each part. Easy and main body 2
Since the bottom portion of the cleaning liquid tank 4 installed in is always facing downward, the cleaning liquid 3 at the bottom can be easily discharged by the pump 5, so that the remaining amount can be minimized. The hollow guide portion 104 has a small inner diameter with a circular cross-section from the base portion 12a side toward the tip portion 12 side with a sufficient margin with respect to the thickness of the bristle bundle 11; The bristle bundle 11 is guided by a tapered guide path that is reduced to a size where it disappears, and the bristle tip 11c of the bristle bundle 11 is substantially horizontal because the guide path gradually flattens from the bent portion of the tip 12 to the tip. It is in the form of a single letter so that it can be moved back and forth.

In one embodiment, the bristles 11 are made of resin filaments having a diameter of about 0.3 mm.
Using b bundles of 30 b, the tip opening 12g of the tip portion 12 of the hollow guide portion 104 is formed into a slit shape having a width of 1 mm and a length of 5 mm, and the bristles bundle 11 has the tip opening 12g.
It is tied in a tight state with almost no space between and, and the hair tips 11c are lined up in a horizontal line with a thickness of about 1 mm over about 5 mm, and a state in which the hair is pushed back and forth strongly is obtained. Got

Further, since the drive mechanism 8 is the crank mechanism connected to the motor shaft 16a and the reciprocating motion of the predetermined stroke can be achieved quickly and accurately with a simple mechanism, the tooth brushing effect and the massage effect can be achieved. It is possible to improve and avoid the inconvenience of causing excessive stroke and damaging the teeth and gum due to the forced reciprocating motion.

Particularly, since the rotation axis X of the crank portion 8a of the drive mechanism 8 is installed in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the main body portion 2, the axial direction of the main body portion 2 and the hollow guide portion 104 is increased. A reciprocating motion stroke is obtained, and by transmitting this to the bristles bundle 11 through the axially moving part 23, the hollow guide part 104 to the part of the main body part 2 equipped with the drive mechanism 8 are 2 (a)
The hollow guide part 10 is made thin and long as shown in
It is possible to easily insert and move the tip portion 12 of No. 4 into each portion in the oral cavity, and it is easy to brush and massage the teeth. In this embodiment, the forward / backward stroke of the bristles 11 in the longitudinal direction is set to 6 mm. With such a large stroke, the surface of the tooth 201 and the tooth gap 20
The toothbrushing effect of No. 3 and the massage effect on the gum 202 can be sufficiently obtained. However, in order to further increase the brushing effect by increasing the stroke into the inter-tooth space 203,
The size can be made larger, such as about 2 mm. On the contrary, it is also possible to aim at a massage effect and make a small stroke of about 2 mm to reduce the escape and perform a beat action at high speed.

Furthermore, the manual pump 5 itself is exposed on the side peripheral surface of the main body 2 and is pressed.
Including the case of having the pressing operation part exposed in this way, while holding the main body part 2 with one hand, apply the pressing operation by applying the thumb of this one hand to the pressing operation part, and if necessary, while brushing or massaging teeth. The cleaning liquid 3 can be discharged from the cleaning liquid tank 4 and used without difficulty. However, when the pressure regulating valve 35 and the on-off valve 36 are provided as in the first embodiment, the pump 5 is operated to pressurize the cleaning liquid 3 in the cleaning liquid tank 4 in advance even when the electric toothbrush is not used. In addition, in using the electric toothbrush, the opening / closing valve 36 is opened without operating the pump 5, so that the cleaning liquid 3 can be discharged under a constant pressure and flow rate. Therefore, in some cases, the cleaning liquid 3 can be discharged and used as needed by manually opening and closing the opening / closing valve 36 regardless of the operation of the drive mechanism 8.

In the example shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the bristle bundle 11 is housed together with the advancing / retreating operation portion 23 of the drive mechanism 8 on the tip opening 12g side of the bent portion of the tip portion 12 of the hollow guide portion 104 from the base portion 12a. The drive is made to move back and forth from a position very close to the tip opening 12g. In particular,
The rotation axis X of the crank portion 8a of the drive mechanism 8 is installed so as to match the axial direction of the main body portion 2. Along with this, the motor shaft or the connecting shaft 51 oriented in the axial direction of the main body portion 2 is lengthened so that the crank portion 8a located on the base portion 12a of the hollow guide portion 104 is largely separated from the motor 16 of the main body portion 2.

In the example shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the drive shaft 115 is a rod-shaped body, the base end portion 115b side is housed in the tip end portion of the body portion 2 ahead of the grip portion 1, and swings from the tip end portion to the outlet portion 1c. It is supported by an elastic bush 118 so as to have a fulcrum 117 so that the drive shaft 115 swinging at the outlet portion 1c does not interfere with the main body portion 2. As a result, the drive shaft 115 is vibrated by the elastic bush 118 and gently swung, and the gap between the drive shaft 115 and the outlet portion 1c is sealed by the elastic bush 118, so that infiltration of water can be prevented. Drive shaft 11
The thinner 5 is, the lower the bulk is, the smaller the inertia is, and the better the durability is. It is preferably made of metal so that it can be swung stably, and stainless steel is preferable because it does not rust. However, the material is not limited to this, and other materials such as resin may be used. The drive shaft 115 and the elastic bush 118 have a concave-convex fitting portion 119 for preventing them from coming off.

The drive mechanism 8 is a motor / cam drive mechanism including a motor 16 and a cam 113 directly connected to the motor shaft 16a. The cam 113 is provided inside the distal end of the main body 2 alongside the base end 115b of the drive shaft 115 with the motor 16 in a direction in which the axis is orthogonal to the drive shaft 115. The stationary portion of the electric motor 16 is oriented at a right angle outside the main body 2. Sledding,
Since the circumferential direction of the cam 113 is along the longitudinal direction of the drive shaft 115, the drive shaft 115 is biased by the spring 114 and
The oscillating drive can be performed only by directly contacting the outer circumference of the pressure roller 3. Although the motor 16 is a small motor, it may be a flat motor or the like. Engagement grooves are provided around the outer periphery of the cam 113, and when the drive shaft 115 is swung in the state of engaging with this groove, lateral shake of the drive shaft 115 is prevented.

In these cases, the drive shaft 115 and the magnetic coupler 25 may be of a system that does not have a structure for supplying the cleaning liquid 3 as shown in FIG. This also applies to the cases shown in FIGS. 1 to 6 described above.
However, even with the drive system shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, as shown in FIG. 8, the liquid supply passage 34 for supplying the cleaning liquid 3 to the bristles 11 is shown.
If the cleaning liquid 3 is provided, the cleaning liquid 3 can be accurately delivered through the drive shaft 115 and the magnetic coupler 25 to the portion where the bristles bundle 11 is working without being guided by the hollow guide portion 104 as described above, and a small amount of cleaning liquid is provided. Can enhance the effect of removing dental plaque and foreign matter. Depending on the type of liquid used, disinfection is also possible.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 6, the liquid supply passage 34 may be supplied with the cleaning liquid 3 from the cleaning liquid tank 4 in the main body 2 by a manual pump 5 or an electric pump instead of the manual pump 5. In the example of FIG. 8, the cleaning liquid tank 122 provided other than the main body 2 supplies the cleaning liquid by gravity. For this reason, the cleaning liquid tank 122 is provided with a mounting portion such as a hook 123 or a suction cup 124 so that it can be supported at a high place. In this case as well, it is preferable to equip with a valve or the like that allows the cleaning liquid 3 supplied by gravity to flow in whenever necessary and to be used freely.

In the example shown in FIG. 9, the base end portion 11 of the drive shaft 115 is an example in which the drive mechanism 8 is an electromagnetic swing drive mechanism.
5b is provided with a magnetic pole of a permanent magnet 127 and 2 of the electromagnet 128 is provided.
It is facing two magnetic poles. The two magnetic poles of the electromagnet 128 are switched between the S pole and the N pole by the supply of the alternating current, and the magnetic poles of the drive shaft 115 are alternately attracted.
5 can be reciprocally oscillated around the oscillating fulcrum 117, and the oscillating can be oscillated even at the frequency of the AC power supply as it is. Since the drive shaft 115 fluctuates when no alternating current is supplied to the electromagnet 128, a spring 114 that keeps the drive shaft 115 in the neutral position is actuated to prevent this. The spring 114 also serves to prevent vibration and fluctuation when the drive shaft 115 reciprocally swings. Thus, when the drive mechanism 8 is an electromagnetic rocking drive mechanism, the drive shaft 115 can be rocked without friction by electromagnetically and non-contacting rocking transmission between the electromagnetic rocking drive mechanism and the drive shaft 115. .

In the example shown in FIG. 10, the drive shaft 115 faces the end of the main body 2 by being supported by the sliding bearing 131, and the frame-type cam follower 134 is driven by the cam 133 connected to the motor 16 by the gear 132. By doing so, it is driven forward and backward in the axial direction. A seal cover 135 made of rubber or resin film covers a portion of the main body 2 facing the tip of the drive shaft 115.
The seal cover 135 covers the end of the drive shaft 115 integrally with the concavo-convex engaging portion 136 and the like as the advance / retreat operation part 23 that moves forward and backward with the end of the drive shaft 115. The magnet 103 is provided with the concave-convex engaging portion 13
7, and the magnetic body 102 and the magnet 103 on the side of the bristles 11 constitute a magnetic coupler 25. In such a configuration, the bristle bundle 11 is directly connected to the advancing / retreating operation portion 23 of the seal cover 135 elastically or by having an engaging portion such as the concave and convex engaging portion 137 so as to be fitted and detachable. You can also Further, instead of or in addition to the seal cover 135, the hollow guide portion 104 as shown by an imaginary line can be used.

The bristle bundle 11 has a thickness of 0.1 to 0.3.
By converting bristles of about mm into circles and bundling them with a diameter of about 5 mm, it is possible to increase the range that can be covered at one time while ensuring the beat action, which increases work efficiency and shortens work time. Can be achieved.

Under these conditions, however, the bristle bundle 11 has bristles having a thickness of 0.1 to 0.3 mm and a diameter of 1 to 5
The bristle bundle 11 may be advanced in a substantially circular or elliptic bundling form, and the appropriate elasticity is obtained while making use of the strength of each of the bristles 11 individually, for example, a small size of about 1 to 2.5 mm. The smaller the diameter, the more effective it is for cleaning plaque and other plaque in narrow spaces such as periodontal pockets and spaces between teeth.
As the diameter of the large range of up to about 5 mm is increased, the range in which the beat effect can be exerted at the same time is enlarged without the beat effect being reduced due to the brush surface becoming too large, and the beat efficiency can be improved and the working time can be shortened. here,
In each example in which the bristles bundle 11 can be attached and detached, it is convenient to replace the plurality of types of the bristles bundle 11 described above and use them properly while selecting and using them.

If the bristles 11 are bundled with about 200 bristles having a thickness of about 0.1 mm, one horizontal letter is 5 mm.
It is suitable for obtaining a round or elliptical bundling form. Moreover, even if the tip of the bristles 11 is thinly spread out in the shape of a single horizontal line or the diameter is reduced to about 1 to 2.5 mm, the hollow guide portion 104 prevents the waist from weakening. The beat effect is not impaired even if the bristles are not particularly strong.

According to the present invention, as is clear from the above description, since the bristle bundle is driven forward and backward in the longitudinal direction by the drive mechanism at the tip of the main body, the main body is gripped by the grip. When the bristle bundle part at the tip of the main body is placed in the oral cavity and applied to the teeth, gums, periodontal groove, or between the teeth, the tip of the hair to be advanced and retracted repeatedly hits or enters and the so-called "toothpick method" is used. Sweeping can be done automatically at high speed, and in this case the brush surface is pressed slowly, unlike the conventional "toothpick method" that automatically performs beat-like stimulating massage at high speed So
The massaging effect for a single bristle bundle is higher than that of the conventional “toothpick method”. In particular, the tips of the bristles are arranged in the form of almost one horizontal letter, and the range of bristles is wider and the number of bristles is wider than in the case of conventional bristles without the attenuation of irritation when the tips form a surface. As compared with the conventional bristles, it is easy to exert a stronger brushing action on the interdental space, gums, periodontal groove, etc. with a wider action width corresponding to the width of the bristle, so that both the massage effect and the work efficiency are improved. , "Toothpick method"
Effective cleaning is efficiently and easily achieved in a short time.
