In the conventional discharge lamp with a built-in circuit, the circuit block and the discharge tube are joined by welding, so when the circuit block or the discharge tube is damaged, even if either one is still usable,
The entire discharge lamp with built-in circuit must be replaced.
On the other hand, when only one of the circuit block and the discharge tube is damaged, it is considered that valuable resources can be effectively used if only the damaged side can be replaced.

This publication discloses a structure of a discharge lamp bulb with a built-in circuit that can separate a circuit block and a discharge tube as a vehicle discharge lamp lighting unit. In this conventional example, the replaceability when the circuit block and the discharge tube are damaged on one side can be improved, and when either one is damaged, only the damaged side needs to be replaced. Even if it is relatively easy to replace it and you can work in stores (light fixtures mass stores, construction stores, car dealers, etc.), stores that handle repair parts for lighting fixtures that use discharge lamps with built-in circuits The discharge lamp bulb with a built-in circuit and the circuit block and the discharge tube must be held in order to support the replacement of either one, and the number of repair parts increases.

In order to cope with the above, it is necessary to have a circuit block and a discharge tube, and there is a problem that the number of types of repair parts increases. Further, when one of the discharge lamp bulb and the socket with a built-in circuit is damaged, the repair cannot be performed unless the corresponding repair parts are in stock. If there is an adapter for converting the discharge lamp bulb with a built-in circuit and the discharge lamp bulb, it is considered that the number of repair parts owned by the store can be reduced.
