Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle phone that can transmit/receive required information and interrupt a speech without giving an unpleasant feeling to the opposite party when an emergency vehicle approaches its own vehicle and the driver pulls the vehicle aside during the speech. SOLUTION: An emergency vehicle alarm signal detection means 130 detects an alarm (radio wave or sound) from an emergency vehicle during speech to discriminate the approach of the emergency vehicle. When a speech state monitor means 140 detects a speech transmission state, an on-vehicle phone communication control means 8 allows a speaker 1220 to sound a 1st message (e.g. a warning tone or the like) stored in an emergency message storage means 150 into the interior of the vehicle, thereby informing the talker about the approach of the emergency vehicle to the vehicle.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an emergency vehicle such as a fire engine or a police vehicle travels while emitting an alarm sound such as a siren in the event of an emergency, and other vehicles in the traveling direction receive the above-mentioned alarm sound. Measures are taken to give priority to traveling of emergency vehicles, such as stopping. Conventional techniques for performing such safety measures include a device and a method for detecting a radio wave emitted from an emergency vehicle (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Nos. 9-267705, 9-7096, and 2000-40199). There are known devices and methods for informing (Japanese Patent No. 2766684, Japanese Patent No. 2763685). For example, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-40199 (emergency vehicle notification system), an emergency information transmission unit is provided in an emergency vehicle to transmit emergency information, and an emergency information reception unit is provided in a general vehicle to receive and receive emergency information. It discloses a mechanism for outputting emergency information by voice from the emergency information obtained.

However, when a vehicle-mounted telephone device is mounted and a call is made via a vehicle-mounted sound reproducing device, it is often engrossed in talking and emergency information cannot reach the driver's ear. And may not notice the approach of an emergency vehicle. Also, when an emergency vehicle is approached during a call, the details of the call may be overlooked when the evacuation action is taken suddenly, or conversely, the attention may be distracted due to the attention of the call and the evacuation action may be delayed, causing an accident. It may be. The present invention has been made in view of the above points,
When an emergency vehicle approaches during a call, the vehicle-mounted telephone device can send and receive necessary information and interrupt the call without giving the caller unpleasant feeling when the driver shifts to the evacuation behavior. The purpose is to provide.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Next, an embodiment of a vehicle-mounted telephone device according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. Here, FIG. 1 is a functional block diagram showing an on-vehicle telephone device as an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a flowchart for explaining the embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 1, there is shown a functional block diagram showing an embodiment of a vehicle-mounted telephone device according to the present invention. The in-vehicle telephone device according to the present embodiment has a sound control unit 1 in the in-vehicle sound device 120.
The audio signal from the microphone 1210 is processed by the microphone 21, and the audio signal is output from the speaker 1220.
Then, the volume from the speaker 1220 is adjusted by the sound operation unit 123. Emergency vehicle warning signal detection means 130
Detects an alarm by radio waves or sound transmitted from an emergency vehicle. The call state monitoring means 140 has a call level detection unit 143, which detects the transmission and reception signal levels of the vehicle-mounted telephone device, and determines that the call is in progress when the signal level of a predetermined value or more continues for a predetermined time. Judgment is made, and "whether it is transmitting or not" is monitored. The call status monitoring means 140 has a transmission / reception signal processing unit 145 and a communication control unit 147 in addition to the call level detection unit 143, and processes transmission / reception signals and performs communication control.

2. When the call state monitoring means 140 detects the reception state The call state monitoring means 140 keeps monitoring the call state repeatedly until a break of the received reception signal is detected. If it is detected, it is determined that the call has been interrupted, and a second message prepared in advance in the emergency message storage means 150 (eg, "Call is interrupted while an emergency vehicle is approaching and will be contacted later", etc.) To the local terminal. After sending the message, if there is a message from the other party, the message is stored in the call content storage means 170. When the call state monitoring means 140 confirms the end of the message of the other party, the communication line is disconnected.

Referring to FIG. 2, an operation flowchart of the vehicle-mounted telephone device of FIG. 1 will be described. In process 203, the vehicle traveling state detecting means 160 determines whether or not the vehicle on which the vehicle-mounted telephone device is installed is traveling. If the vehicle is not running, the monitoring is continued, and if it is determined that the vehicle is running, the emergency vehicle warning signal detecting means 130
Monitor the reception of an alarm or radio wave issued from the emergency vehicle (205). In the process 205, when these alarms and radio waves are not confirmed, the monitoring by the emergency vehicle alarm signal detecting means 130 is continued. When these alarms and radio waves are confirmed, the state of the telephone line is confirmed by the telephone state monitoring means 140 (207). In the process 207, when it is determined that the user is talking, the talking state monitoring means 140 further determines whether "transmitting" or "receiving" (209). The determination during transmission / reception is made based on the presence / absence of a transmission / reception signal and the signal level.
