Then, in a state where the cover 61 is put on from above and the locking pieces 63 are temporarily locked to the temporary locking projections 57, the tool receiving portions 59 and 64 of the housing main body 52 and the cover 61 are respectively held by tools such as the pliers 43. When the squeezing force is applied, the insulated wires A and B are pressed by the pressing pieces 62 protruding from the cover 61 due to the squeezing force.
As a result, it is pushed into the press contact slit 56. As a result,
The insulating coating 41 is cut by the pressure contact slit 56,
Each of the conductors 42 comes into contact with the press-contact blade 55, so that the covered electric wires A and B are electrically conducted to each other well. Finally, the locking piece 63 is locked to the main locking projection 57, so that the cover 61 is attached without detaching from the housing main body 52.

問題があった。However, in the above-described conventional press-fitting joint connector 51, a tool that is not normally used in a wire harness production site, such as a flyer 43, is used when attaching the insulated wires A and B to the press-fitting joint connector 51. Therefore, there is a problem that the types of tools increase. In particular, when the number of insulated wires to be conductively connected increases, the housing body 52 and the cover 6
In this case, a pressing machine or the like is required due to an increase in the built-in pressing force, which causes a problem that expensive equipment and a decrease in productivity are caused at the same time.

A housing body having a plurality of holding grooves through which a covered electric wire is inserted, and a plurality of the covered electric wires held in the holding grooves being cut into contact with a conductor so as to come into contact with a conductor, thereby forming a space between the covered electric wires. A press-connecting connector provided with a press-connecting terminal having a plurality of press-connecting blades for electrically connecting the cover and a cover attached to the housing main body, wherein the press-connecting terminal is disposed on the housing main body or the cover; The housing body is rotatably connected to the housing body via a hinge, and a fastening band continuously provided on a side wall facing the hinge is fitted into a locking hole formed at a corresponding position of the housing body and tightened. A press-fitting joint connector, wherein the covered electric wire is press-fitted into a press-fitting slit of the press-fitting terminal.
