Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ジブロック共重合体であって、 (a)ポリエステルの第1ブロックであって、(i)フェノールとテトラクロ ロエタンの重量基準で60/40の混合液中で測定して少なくとも約0.6デシ リットル/グラムである固有粘度と(ii)キャピラリ流動計によって測定して2 80℃で少なくとも約7,000ポアズであるニュートン溶融粘度とを有する芳 香族ポリエステルから製造される第1ブロック;及び (b)ポリエステルの第2ブロックであって、ラクトンモノマーから製造され る第2ブロック を含んでなるジブロック共重合体。 2.芳香族ポリエステルが、ポリ(エチレンテレフタレート);ポリ(エチ レンナフタレート);ポリ(アルキレンナフタレート);及びポリ(シクロアル キレンナフタレート)からなる群より選択される、請求項1のジブロック共重合 体。 3.第1ブロックが、少なくとも約0.7デシリットル/グラムの固有粘度 を有する芳香族ポリエステルから製造される、請求項1のジブロック共重合体。 4.第1ブロックが、280℃で少なくとも約10,000ポアズのニュー トン溶融粘度を有する芳香族ポリエステルから製造される、請求項1のジブロッ ク共重合体。 5.ラクトンポリマーが、ε−カプロラクトン、プロピオラクトン、ブチロ ラクトン、及びバレロラクトンからなる群より選択されるモノマーから製造され る、請求項1のジブロック共重合体。 6.芳香族ポリエステルが、約50〜約99重量パーセントの量であり、ポ リカプロラクトンが約1〜約50重量パーセントの量である、請求項1のジブロ ック共重合体。 7.請求項1のジブロック共重合体を紡糸し、延伸し、そして緩和すること により形成される繊維。 8.請求項7の繊維から形成されるウェビング。 9.請求項8のウェビングから形成されるシートベルト。 10.請求項1のジブロック共重合体を形成するための方法であって、 (A)押出機において、溶融している芳香族ポリエステルにラクトンモノマー を注入し;そして (B)前記溶融している芳香族ポリエステルと前記ラクトンモノマーを約30 分未満の滞留時間で及び前記ジブロック共重合体を形成するのに十分な温度で混 合する ことを含み、エステル交換の量が前記ジブロック共重合体の重量を基準にして約 5重量パーセント未満である方法。
