Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 下記(1)〜(6)で構成されることを特徴とする立体三次元画像を製作す るためのコンピュータシステム: (1) ディスプレー装置と、左眼および右眼用の画像を発生させる手段を含む ディスプレー装置上の画像を立体的に見るための手段とからなる立体視システム 、 (2) 所定の三次元描画空間内でラインを画定するための描画ワンド、 (3) ワンドが三次元描画空間内で移動する時にワンドの位置を検出する手段 、 (4) 立体視システムを用いて上記のラインを立体的に表示して三次元画像の 輪郭を表示する手段、 (5) フラッドフィル法のために上記三次元画像の表面を画定する表面画定手 段 (6) 上記表面画定手段に応答して左眼および右眼用画像の上記画定された表 面に対応する部分をフラッドフィリングによって塗りつぶす手段であって、フラ ッドフィリングによって塗りつぶされた左眼および右眼用画像が立体視システム を通して見たときに三次元画像に見えるよにする手段。 2. 下記の(1)〜(5)で構成されることを特徴とする三次元画像を作る方法 : (1) 所定の三次元描画空間で線画を描く描画器具と、左眼および右眼用画像 を作る立体視システムとを含むコンピュータ描画システムを用い、 (2) 描画空間で描画器具を用いて三次元物体を所定の方向から見た時の三次 元表面のアウトラインおよびその他の任意の立体輪郭とをトレースし、 (3) 描画器具が上記表面をトレースした時の描画器具の位置を記録して描画 器具に対する3軸位置の情報を作り、 (4) 記録されたデータを用いて立体視システムを通して見るための左眼およ び右眼用画像を作り、 (5) 所定の色を用いて上記表面の左眼および右眼用画像をフラッドフィリン グによって塗りつぶして、フラッドフィリングによって塗りつぶされた表面の左 眼および右眼用の画像より得られる立体画像が観察者には複雑な三次元表面とし て見えるようにする。
