In particolare essa contiene, quali sostanze estrattive vegetali, lo zafferano, contenuto in alcune piante* e fra queste, in buona quantità, nel Crocus sativus; il serìcoside contenuto nella Terminalia sericea ed altre sostanze quali quelle provenienti da Centella asiatica, passiflora, e rusco; quale derivato organico dello iodio, lo ioduro di cetile. Quali di- e poli-saccaridi sono contenuti nella composizione cosmetica dell'invenzione, la frazione del 10% di acetilato di acido jalobiuronico, e l'acido jaluronico a basso peso molecolare, specificamente avente peso molecolare inferiore a 390Daltons. ;La composizione cosmetica dell'invenzione può, inoltre, contenere vitamine e/o aminoacidi e/o sali di manganese, zinco e potassio dell'acido pirocarbossilico. ;Si è ora trovato che, nella presente composizione cosmetica, l'attività dei singoli componenti si manifesta in maniera potenziata ed integrata allorché gli stessi sono presenti nell'ambito di quantità ben definite: in particolare la quantità di zafferano è compresa tra 0,1 e 3% in peso rispetto al peso della composizione; la quantità di acido jalobiuronico 10% acetilato è compresa tra 40 e 70% in peso rispetto al peso della composizione; la quantità di acido jaluronico è compresa tra 0,1 e 1% in peso rispetto al peso della composizione; la quantità di sericosìde è compresa tra 1 e 2% in peso rispetto al peso della composizione; la quantità di ioduro di cetile è compresa tra 0,5 e 2% in peso rispetto al peso della composizione; la quantità di estratto di passiflora, rusco, Centella asiatica, è compresa tra 1 e 3% in peso rispetto al peso della composizione; la quantità di vitamine, se presenti, è compresa: per la vitamina A tra 0,3 e 0/6% in peso rispetto al peso della composizione; per la vitamina C tra 1 e 2% in peso rispetto al peso della composizione; per la vitamina E tra 0,5 e 1% in peso rispetto al peso della composizione. ;La composizione cosmetica oggetto dell'invenzione è caratterizzata da una elevata attività idratante, antiossidante, levigante, nutriente e da un notevole potere di penetrazione nell'epidermide. Essa trova applicazione nelle forme di senescenza cutanea, quando cioè per 1'invecchiamento o per lo stress o per un insieme di sfavorevoli fattori ambientali, la pelle subisce una serie di processi involutivi che, come conseguenza, causano nella cute disidratazione, secchezza, perdita di elasticità e, in particolari zone, comparsa di rughe più o meno marcate. ;Un trattamento consigliato per poter ottenere risultati soddisfacenti e che pertanto porti ad una regressione degli aspetti più marcati della senescenza cutanea con il ripristino della quota idrica a valori soddisfacenti, richiede l'applicazione sulla cute di un sottile strato della composizione cosmetica dell'invenzione 2-3 volte al giorno. ;La presenza dello ioduro di cetile associato a sostanze estrattive da passiflora, rusco, Cèntella asiatica, dà altresì alla composizione cosmetica una spiccata azione riduttiva nei confronti degli inestetismi causati dalla deposizione abnorme di grasso e dalla ipertrofia pannicolo-adiposa localizzata. Il trattamento costante con la composizione cosmetica dell'invenzione, preferibilmente se unita ad una dieta mirata ed eventuali appropriati massaggi, permette di ottenere una sorprendente progressiva riduzione delle adiposità localizzate più marcate. ;I componenti attivi, come miscela in forma di gel liofilizzato, che ne permette urta migliorata stabilità e maneggevolezza, vengono opportunamente miscelati con gli adatti eccipienti cosmetòlogicamente accettàbili per la preparazione della composizione cosmetica dell'invenzione che può essere in fonila di gel, di emulsione, di crema o di liquido. ;Quali adatti eccipienti possono essere impiegati, ad esempio, polygel ca, natrasol hr250; brij 72-brij 72.1-acido stearico-nàcol 16-alcool cetilico 2oe-alcool stearilico 30oercithrbl gms ne.
