Scopo del presente trovato è pertanto quello di ovviare a questi inconvenienti attraverso la realizzazione di un prodotto profilato in materiale composito, del tipo WPC come sopra indicato, con caratteristiche tali che lo rendono di bella presentazione estetica (come grado di finitura superficiale con venature irregolari del tutto simili o paragonabili a quelle del legno naturale) e con superfici destinate a rimanere in vista, quindi esposte agli agenti atmosferici, rivestite con una pellicola (o film) trasparente - che, di conseguenza, non modifica le caratteristiche estetiche superficiali dei profilati - ottenuta in uno o più polimeri termoplastici, che aumenta le caratteristiche meccaniche di resistenza del profilato e che costituisce un ottimo filtro ai raggi UV, contribuendo al mantenimento, nel tempo d’opera, delle caratteristiche meccaniche ed estetiche del profilato. Il prodotto profilato oggetto della presente invenzione si caratterizza strutturalmente per il fatto di presentare le sue superfici, tutte o almeno quelle destinate a rimanere esposte agli agenti esterni, rivestite da una pellicola o film termoplastico trasparente il quale risulta reso aderente permanentemente a dette superfici, su tutta la loro estensione superfi ciale, senza l’impiego di collanti o materiali adesivi, ma per semplice aderenza fisico-chimico-meccanica ottenuta nella fase di estrusione del prodotto profilato, di coestrusione di detto film termoplastico e contemporaneo fissaggio o saldatura di quest’ultimo sulle prescelte superfici del profilato per mezzo di azione termo-chimico-meccanica.
