L'utilizzo di un nastro metallico ad anello, chiuso senza giunzione di raccordo, di lunghezza e larghezza variabili in funzione del materiale da goffrare, sulla cui superficie sia riprodotto in rilievo, il disegno in negativo da trasferire permette di sottoporre il materiale da incidere a condizioni di pressione e temperatura differenziate, durante ogni rotazione dell'anello metallico, senza soluzione di contatto matrice-materiale. La possibilità di variare la pressione e la temperatura, utilizzando matrici cilindriche non è realizzabile e ne costituisce quindi un limite in termini di qualità e flessibilità operativa.The innovation of the method, object of the present patent, relates to the field of continuous embossing.
