Macchina di misura (1) comprendente un basamento (2), un portale (3) mobile sul basamento (2) lungo un primo asse (X) orizzontale e provvisto di una traversa (6) estendentesi lungo un secondo asse (Y) orizzontale ortogonale al primo, un carrello (7) portato dalla traversa (6) e mobile lungo una guida (14) ricavata sulla traversa (6) stessa lungo il secondo asse (Y), ed una testa di misura (8) portata dal carrello (7) e mobile rispetto allo stesso lungo un terzo asse (Z) verticale; la guida (14) definisce una piana di scorrimento principale (n) inclinato a 45° rispetto al piano di riferimento (2'), la traversa (6) ed il carrello (7) presentano sezione allungata in direzione parallela a tale piano principale di scorrimento (n).(FIGURE 1 e 3)
