Abstract
The use of cetirizine or one of its non-toxic pharmaceutically acceptable salts as a cough-preventing ingredient is described and pharmaceutical compositions having cough-preventing activity which contain therapeutically active quantities of cetirizine or a non- toxic pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in a mixture with suitable pharmaceutically acceptable diluents to prevent coughing are also described.
