Abstract

1294666 Razors WILKINSON SWORD Ltd 23 Jan 1970 [28 Jan 1969] 4754/69 Heading B4B A razor comprises a holder 21 for a shaving unit 20, the holder having means for ejecting the shaving unit from the holder when the unit is to be replaced. The shaving unit comprises a blade 19 secured in a body portion having a guard surface 20a and a recess 26 connected to a cam surface 27. The holder is provided with a spring-loaded pivoted detent 25 having a head portion 25a adapted to engage in the recess in order to retain the blade unit. The blade unit is ejected from the holder by means of a spring 30 connected to an ejector button 29. When it is desired to eject a blade unit the button is pressed so that the unit is moved outwardly to release the detent as shown in Fig. 5. The blade units may be stored in a magazine dispenser as described in Specification 1,160,542. The handle of the holder is formed from front and rear parts 42, 24, balance weights 43, 44 being provided in the part 42. [GB1294666A]
