Abstract

This invention in concerned with a homogenized natural monosaccharide composition, by the mixing of Isoglucose with Hi-Maltose with a natural invertosaccharose solution and adding to the final product, special colouring (caramel colour) derived from the processing of Isoglucose without containing saccharose. The method is characterised by the use of Isoglucose mixed with Hi-Maltose in a 80:20 or 70:30 ratio, and by the fact that the natural invertosaccharose solution is added in such proportion in order for the ratio fructose-dextrose (f/d) to be from 0.6 to 1.3 resulting in the final product being characterised by the lack of disaccharide and by only monosaccharide presence (fructose-dextrose) in its content in a 60-95 percent ratio to its dry substance. It is applied in apiculture and in particular in bee-swarm feeding such as stimulative spring feeding, when there are fluorescence period gaps, in cases of bee-swarm illness, in winter periods etc, with primary target to succeed in the bee-swarm's health, in their right and continuous feeding, in their proper development etc. Furthermore, its use is advisable for human consumption and in particular by diabetics and can be used as a sweetener with few calories for dietary purposes.
