Abstract

An MDF-board (1) with incisions (7) made at distances apart transversely to the extension direction of its main surface serves to produce a curved body, webs (8) remaining at the base of the incisions (7) and ribs (9) being formed between the adjacent incisions (7), which ribs (9) can be permanently fixed after the transformation into the curved shape. At least on its freely visible surface (3), the MDF-board (1) has a texture (4), in particular a wooden texture, which is impressed in the flat state and has a roughness depth covering the polygonal effect. <IMAGE>
